omg this apple cobbler is so easy to make and down right moreish. recipe written below. serves 6
pre heat oven 180 degrees C
8 cup shallow oven proof dish lightly covered in butter or marg.

8 green apples ( red were yummy as ) peeled cored and sliced thin then layed out in dish
1/4 cup sugar sprinkled over the apples
1/2 cup orange juice poured over apples
set aside
in a bowl sift
1/2 cup plain flour
then add
2 cups rolled oats not quick oats
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 tea spoon cinnamon
1/4 tea spoon nutmeg
mix well set aside
saucepan
125g butter chopped
1/4 cup honey
melt on low
then add to dry mix and mix well
spoon over apples then with fork spread out
bake 40 mins til crunchy on top
serve with cream or ice cream
