Madonna’s working on a brand new spanking album material with Producer Stuart Price who did Confessions On A Dancefloor (2005) with her. Should be out 2025, 20th anniversary of COAD album.

MDNA. Pretty much universally voted as her worst album ever. Girl Gone Wild is almost there for me… it’s catchy, for sure, lots of great hooks that stick in your head but the lyrics, such as they are, are pretty weak. The video is definitely a Madonna video… lol… she looks stunning, she’s got religion and sex and queerness in it. What more could you ask for? And I swear, I remember seeing a version of this video with full frontal nudity in it for a flash of a second… does anyone else remember that or am I just crazy? This, Bang Bang and Masterpiece are about the only songs I’d listen to on this album. Maybe Turn Up the Radio and Besutiful Killer if I’m feeling generous, but virtually nothing here is anywhere close to being even in her top 50 songs, let alone top 10. Oh well, you can’t win them all.
Oh I think this is a big step up from Hard Candy, the tour too! She channels a lot of pain and turmoil in a lot of different ways. I think Superstar was one of the very few I didn't like actually. I'll put up an edit of the whole reaction later. Had a few people revisit the album or tour and realise they don't hate it any more, actually. You didn't like I'm A Sinner or Love Spent?
