Agree. I like when you feel Madonna so free on stage, like not worried about her dance footsteps or THE crowd or her outfit.

I'm in my '60s and I've been seriously listening to music since the early '70s. I don't know that I've ever heard an artist with this much raw talent. And because she busted her ass, her talent has been developed into something utterly mind blowing. Talent alone is not enough. You have to work at it. Chappell has the whole package. Great songs. Incredible voice. Unbelievable performer. My experience of watching her on stage is that she has somehow learned how to embody the goddess within her and when she takes the stage, she becomes something more. Something more than her off stage persona. I've never seen anything like it.. Looking into her eyes I also see a very old soul. Very complex being. I think this has something to do with what she is able to accomplish.

This song and this vocal are IT. Lisa's delivery is just untouchable in true R&B fashion.

I'm sorry, but so many of Mariah's covers are just a mess. This song. One More Try. Against All Odd. Open Arms. I Wanna Know What Love Is. Her idea of "making it her own" is too many unnecessary runs and intonations. Her best covers are I'll Be There and Without You.

I do love MDNA, but it's still not one of my top-ranked Madonna albums. Hard Candy is just a god awful album except for a couple of songs.

Hey, Johnny... two M videos in one day! Nice. Unfortunately they're for MDNA.. LOL... okay I'm not a hater... but I kinda am. I just find some of the bad songs are really among her worst, and even the okay/good songs just aren't up to her usual gold standard. I'm guessing you hate Hard Candy because of JT.. yah, he was a mistake and the tracks he worked with are the worst on the album, but there's at least half of the album that's really quite good, and I just can't bring myself to say that for either MDNA or Rebel Heart. Madame X was imperfect, but a vast improvement over the previous two albums. Will be VERY interested to here this new music she's promised us for 2025. She hinted at Confessions 2.0 and is working with Stuart Price... please let it be a banger of an album. We need something good after another crap year. LOL

Comparing to the current scene or even during that period, M never had a bad LP. It’s only the critics and haters who always discredit her imho.

A lot of fans slag this album, but I really like it. I think it’s better than Hard Candy. If you love “Gang Bang” you’ll be blown away by the performance on the MDNA tour. My faves from MDNA are “Girl Gone Wild,” “Superstar,” and “Turn On The Radio.”
