4:57 looks like something straight out of monty python. this one is a lot of fun if unrealistic, a guilty pleasure for me. plus, the 12 face reveal is both hilarious and powerful; i love it. always blows me away how exceptional capaldi is in the quieter/more serious moments in this one (the baby translating is adorable). great reaction as always!
"Do not believe this foolish trickery!!!" Is one of my favorite 12 lines ever. With all your new equipment, is a camera one of them? The video quality in this reaction was exceptional!
Wasn't one of my favorite episodes but I did like the part about his face. Finally they acknowledged his first episode when he asked about his face so that was a pleasant surprise
Seriously, you, Elliot my man, and your lovely bride-to-be Meg are just SO what we always wait for and need during a time like this. And man, sure has been quite a while from me with a review to you guys' videos, but then as I said a while back the Capaldi years aren't really for me as much as the days of Nine and Ten and Eleven. Hope you're both doing well with yourselves in life, excited for Christmas I hope, and once again you both look so good and well, and another well done reaction. Hope you'll have one up next weekend, as the Sunday will be my birthday, hoorah
Omg Megan reacting to game of thrones would be TOP TIER. She’s get so attached to the characters just for them to be ripped away. Would love to see it.
i carnt remember her name but i think her and captian jack will team up and build a brand new torchwood and get new members of torchwood and build a larger team
The talk of a Doctor Who movie is gathering pace. But how do begin to write a movie of Doctor Who and how do make it familiar to fans whilst making it original enough to bring in new fans?
They did one already. It was a disaster. May they never do another! The 8th doctor was great in the internet short did to show the regen to the War Doctor, though.
I actually don't like the "who frowned me this face" bit, but I love the comedy training session with Heidi & the rest. I agree the end is great though.
They were made immortal by different means. Its like asking why eating an apple and eating a doughnut have different effects on you when in both case you're just eating to become full.
@@cutthr0atjake her human brain could only hold a certain amount of information. It was not meant for immortality. Therefore, she could barely even remember her own name a few centuries later. Captain Jack still also retained a human brain. Regardless of the CAUSE of the immortality, they should both suffer the same limitations of a human brain being unable to retain centuries of memories.
@@greenpeasuit Well, she's a normal Human with a chip patching up her body keeping her alive whilst Jack was resurrected by the TARDIS / Time Energy. We've seen this doesn't leave people exactly human. Just look at River.
@@cutthr0atjake I completely disagree. Both River and Jack have human brains. Nothing changes that. If anything, Me should be the one with the better memory, as once neuron connections are made, the only thing likely to remove them would be cellular death, which the nanotech should remedy. There is certainly nothing to indicate River's lifetime to even remotely compare to either Jack or Me, though. Nah, I think as usual someone writing in the Whoniverse wanted to add a plot device without considering the implications for the whole lore or canon. "The Doctor is half-human" *cringe*
"Who frowned me this face?"

Peter effortlessly giving another stirring speech.

Maisie Williams is one of those rare actors who can convey so much without speaking. The closing scene where she watches time pass is very underrated.

“it’s supposed to do that!!”
Megan is getting wise to the ways of Moffat...
Eliot reaction watching Megan speak into the microphone is priceless😂😂😂

15:37: I think it was here that Megan had a bit of an epiphany about the implications of immortality........it's not all good.
Well this is an unexpected surprise for my birthday. Great reaction.

On the one hand, I totally agree. On the other hand, only if everyone gives her more orange cushions.
@@blueashke she’s gonna need them
I think they originally wanted Brian Blessed for "Odin"
yes 199 percent agree with you brain blessed would of made a brill odin lol all that shouting in flash gordon space 1999 lol
No need for orange cushions, now you have a proper sofa to hide behind!
Star Trek The Voyage Home got the balance just right. It was familiar to fans and original enough for new fans

Scotty: Admiral there be whales here. Kirk: well done Scotty.....how soon can we be ready for warp speed? Scotty: we have full power!
1st like
4th....but I wanted to watch it first
So many plot holes in Doctor Who. Why didn't immortality have the same memory effect on Captain Jack as it did on her?

Maybe because Captain Jack wasn't a comparatively primitive 9th-century Scandinavian girl.
