I Tested the World’s CHEAPEST Battery Sprayer
HTML-код

- And To My Surprise… It’s Actually Not That Bad!
In this Video, we will show you the world’s Cheapest Battery Sprayer. The SideKing Battery Sprayer is currently on sale on Amazon for $38.00. It features a 1.35 gallon spray tank, battery powered handle, and adjustable spray nozzles.
This sprayer is battery powered which is preferred for more than just convenience, its greatest strength is its able to spray at a constant PSI which is extremely important when making highly precise applications such as the commercial grade herbicides like the ones we use on the channel.
This sprayer also has a stainless steel wand, you will typically find this feature on higher end sprayers such as the Dewalt backpack sprayer , Milwaukee m12 sprayer and the Echo backpack sprayer.
This sprayer also has the ability to customize its sprayer nozzles. The nozzles that come with sprayer are fine for general gardening or to use as a sprayer for plants but if you will be applying liquid lawn fertilizer or will be using it as a weed sprayer with herbicides, they will need to be upgraded. The best way to upgrade this sprayer is with a Teejet nozzle. After a bit of testing I came to the conclusion that the best nozzle to use with this sprayer is the blue Teejet XR8003VS. Once attached, it will spray an 80 degree fan at 14 PSI and will take 6 min and 15 seconds to spray 1 gallon of water. Keep in mind this is half the PSI of more expensive sprayers such as the sprayers plus 105ex I normally use.
Overall this sprayer is a much better budget option than buying a pump sprayer but for heavy duty lawn care jobs and larger lawns, you will be much better off buying a sprayer with a higher PSI and a larger tank capacity.

After a long winter hibernation... It feels good to be back!
Missed you guys!
Glad to see you back.
Just bought this sprayer, because the pump sprayer was too much work. My lawn is now fully green, thanks to your tips, having a few mushrooms issue, but otherwise looking deep green. Thanks for the tips, can't wait to try this sprayer. slowly working my way up. Thanks again.
I just bought a sprayer like the one in the video, I paid a total of only 4 USD for the sprayer and that includes shipping costs. The tool works very well
George, you’re the real thing. Your videos are tight, informative and very helpful. Keep up the good work. Thanks!
Good to see you back for another season, George. Looking forward to seeing the content you have planned for this year.
Thanks boss! feel good to be back:)
Have had a 4gal backpack hand pump sprayer for YEARS. Really want to go with a battery operated. Love the concept of consistent pressure. Really liked the way you explained differences and advantages of types of nitrogen for fertilizing. Keep it up. You are very easy on the ears with an excellent pace. Kudos to camera person (guess it is your wife )
I loved the showing of the sideking sprayer! I just bought one and it is light and easy to use. I am a widow and having to do all the work myself and I need easy and light products. 😊
I’ve learned so much from you! Looking forward to another great season!
Great to hear! Appreciate you stopping by Nick!
I bought this sprayer not too long ago and so far it’s working great. Thanks for suggesting that we upgrade to the TeeJet spray tip. This is definitely better than the one it came with! Appreciate the time you spent pulling together the research. Keep it up man!
no problem boss, appreciate the nice comment!
Perfect timing I was just on the Milwaukee site checking out the M12 sprayer the other day so I for one will be looking forward to your review. Now being of Irish/Scottish lineage and cheap with my potatoes this sprayer is right up my alley thanks for throwing it out there.
haha that m12 sprayer looks SWEET i want one haha but like you its a lil too rich for my blood
Great video!! Thanks so much for bringing us affordable options!!
No problem John! Appreciate you stoppin by
I think that you are honest with the sprayer and I really appreciate that
I’ve been patiently waiting for your return. Welcome back George
Thanks Dill! good to be back 😀
Just found your channel today and it must be Devine intervention. My lawn needs all of your expertise! Headed to the big box home store to grab some herbicide and fertilizer today! Thank you for sharing. I don’t have a sprayer but I think this one would be a great one to start with.
Thanks George, I appreciate all your videos!
no problem! and i appreciate you for watching 😀
Great video George! Glad to see you back for another season
Thanks Andy! how was your winter lol
@Princess Cut Lawn Care Very unproductive. Didn't shovel much snow at all, I think I went out on 4 snow removal runs all winter. Was hoping to make some dough shoveling the white gold but I'll make up this spring for it
@@andyslawncareandoutdooradv crazy how we had hardly any snow this year!
super informative content. thank you so much for posting this!
Welcome back! I recently got a very similar sprayer. Probably the same with different stickers.
Only tip.. open and close the lid occasionally as you spray. The pump will cause the tank to vacuum, slightly reducing the output as it tries to suck more out. I plan on melting a check valve in the top of tank to fix that issue
Appreciate the tip John!
How do you like it other than that? Ive only used it twice so far so im not sure how it will be long term
Just received this sprayer today. Charging it for initial use. Already did half of my lawn with a cumbersome 3 gallon pump sprayer. Can't wait to finish with this one.
Omg the last 5 years or so I've been lugging around a 2lb sprayer no back pack manual pump and just the transition to what this does for your body and time saving is crazy 😅
Thanks for the info George, I need to get myself a battery powered sprayer.
First, welcome back! I'm starting my lawn adventure this yr. And got a great amount of info from digging into your past seasons! Thank you! I purchased a backpack sprayer, so count me out. I just wanted to say Hi, and thanks for sharing your journey, experience and knowledge for the newbies! Looking forward to your vids! 👍
Thanks Greg! nice to meet you my friend!
what type of backpack sprayer did you get??
@@PrincessCutLawnCare I went with the flow zone. With the suggested Tjets for spoon and herbicides, and learning about pesticides. I quit a popular lawn care Co & I won't mention the name. And going to tackle all services I payed someone else to manage. 🤞
Another great video! I have 3 pump sprayers. 1 for lawn chemicals, basically 2,4-D (That's about all I can get where I live) 1 for Round-Up and 1 for other chemicals for deck cleaning. All have the cheap plastic wands😔 And you are correct about the better sprayers being Hella expensive right now! Look forward to many more videos this Summer.
Starting doing lawn myself this year. Found your video interesting. Especially the one about using DEF as a cheap fertilizer alternative. I’m trying that this weekend. Shopping for a sprayer as we speak
He’s back!! Great video as always. Love the new garage backdrop!
Haha thanks bro! It was a pain to make 😆
Nicely done, of course I’m jaded with my Milwaukee sprayer. You’ve seen my review on it. After a couple of months of use I don’t regret the purchase.
I did! that was an awesome review for an awesome sprayer!
keep it up sir! cheers to the new season!
Thanks for the great advice. I have been looking at purchasing a sprayer this year and you are tight they are on the expensive side. I will no doubt be checking out this one ASAP.
No Problem Robert! thanks for stopping by!
I'm considering the Ryobi 4 Gal. 40v backpack sprayer but this one is intriguing because of its price. Great video, thanks!
Thanks Chris! if you have a larger lawn than i would go with the 4 gallon ryobi forsure.
Wow, sounds like a great find George. Enjoyed the video.
Thanks PJ!
Good seeing you back in the lawn brother
Good to see you too Allen! its been a while haha, hope your doing well
This would be an ideal replacement for my aging pump sprayers. Thanks for the video, George.
No Problem Robert, appreciate you watching!
Yeah - he's back!! Just in time for the season :)
Good to see you again Frank! Hope winter wasn't too hard on ya haha
I have owned this sprayer for a few weeks. I’m really surprised how well it works!
Illinois Firefighter and I do not have a sprayer of any kind yet. Just had surgery a few months ago and can not be walking around pumping a pump sprayer so this would be Fantastic to Win and a great way to start doing my own lawn. I’m infested with Nutsedges so a sprayer for my solution would be so great. Thanks for all the tips
Just ordered this last night! After seeing this vid I made a good buy for my first sprayer
Its great to see you back George! After a ton of research, I went with the SprayMate Tornado. Sadly, I only got to use it a few times before we sold our house. Although, we are in the planning stages of our new house which will require a new install so I should get plenty of hours with it next season.
thanks john! good to be back:)
i heard good things about the spraymate sprayers, do you like them?
@@PrincessCutLawnCare For the price, its a nice unit. The handle is bit on cheap side but no complaints so far. It would be a good candidate for the upgraded wand you mentioned in the video.
@@STidrvr thanks for sharing your experience!
Interesting sprayer. Reminds me of those ortho bug-be-gone sprayers at HD with the pump in the wand. Also, Milwaukee has the best tools!
haha it is like one of those but on steroids haha
Thanks George, your review helped me make a decision as I enter the world of sprayer ownership
Awesome! I don't really have a sprayer of choice, as I honestly haven't invested in a good one. I'm still using the pump action. After watching all your videos though, I think I'm going to pick one up! Something like this one would be great! Great video! Thank you!
As always, thank you for the great content
No problem Chris! really enjoy creating content so im glad you enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by bud
No pump yet but I’d love to have a battery operated one. Makes the most sense if your in the business of taking care of your lawn. Thank you for your knowledge and time to produce these videos.
No problem Jrom! good luck!
I appreciate all your videos and this sprayer looks like it could be handy
My lawn care season doesn’t truly start till I watch the first Princess Cut video of the year! I’m still trying to decide on an battery sprayer for outdoor use. I don’t have an outdoor sprayer yet and my indoor is just a small hand pump that doesn’t hold much and gets annoying fast. I think that this sprayer you reviewed would also make a great indoor sprayer for houseplants and it’s actually affordable like you mentioned and the price is part of the reason I haven’t decided on a battery sprayer yet and most if not all are too much/big for indoor use but not this one
haha its good to be back STG! appreciate you stopping by!
George thank you for all your great videos! I like this sprayer it would be great for my yard. Take care. Bill from Boston
Good video George
Welcome back !
Thanks Dave! Good to see you brotha
Was just thinking of you this past week. Happy to see you back with great tips
Hey Ed! Good to see you bud!
I picked one of these up before seeing this video and was also happy enough to buy another for my work. It's flow rate is too low for the lawn IMO, but I've been using it quite a bit for smaller projects where the backpack sprayer is overkill.
Looking forward to the season!
I always look forward to your videos. I’m very interested in trying a sprayer for my lawn but there are so many options.
He's back! I like the new background setup. Looking good!
thanks bro! was a pain to make haha
I have the 105Ex as well. I love it. Works great with my 3,500 sq' lawn.
Sweet! One thing I love about the 105ex is the battery!
I charged that thing twice in 2 years haha
I have a simple Scotts hand pump sprayer. Thank you for great info!!!
Nice! Is it the bowling pin shaped one?
No sprayer of choice but digging the content, getting ready to build and researching the ideal lawn!
Love the channel. Using a pump sprayer now and I could definitely use an upgrade!
Thank you my friend!
No lie, I love your vids man! and like many said, good to see you back! Looking for a battery sprayer and I've been eyeing this exact sprayer. Thanks for the video! Helped me make a decision. I currently use a pump sprayer.
Thanks bro! mean a lot!
this is def a step up from pumping haha
I just bought one of these from Amazon. Thank you for the information!!
I have only pump sprayers but I’m looking into battery powered ones. Thanks for the demonstration.
Excellent video! Oddly enough, the most important part of any sprayer is the nozzle. Bad nozzles will make the most expensive sprayers junk and the cheapest sprayers better.
Yes so true!
Great video George! I was just thinking to myself lastnight "when is the next video coming out? It's been a while". Great way to start lawncare season in the upper midwest. Currently I use a cheap hand pump sprayer for spot treating weeds, but I am looking to try spoon feeding chemicals this year.
haha thanks Jake! feels good to be back
Hey, George. Welcome back! Currently using a hand pump sprayer so I could definitely use the one you featured today!
Thanks C! feel good to come out of hibernation hahah
George is Back!!!!!! just in time.😀
finally out of hibernation 😂
What’s up George, nice to see you back at again. I have the Petra Tools HD4000, 4 gallon sprayer. It’s definitely overkill for my size lawn (approximately 2400 sq ft) I can definitely use something like this. Anyway, I hope you have a great season.
Hey what’s up Lalo!
Good to see you again my friend!
Appreciate you stoppin by 😃
Great video! I'm 76 years old and my strength level has decreased humongous. My 2 gallon pump sprayer has now turned into a pain in the XXX. the weight of the 2 gallons is getting hard to pack around because of the weight and my strength level. Plus I have to stop and pump it up.
Your 1 gallon electric sprayer looks ideal for me, and it looks like the sprayer has shoulder straps. Thanks for the great video, it's educational for me.
Thanks Bob! 1 gallon is a nice sweet spot for easy handling along with the straps i think you will have an easy time with it.
Appreciate you tuning in Bob, see you around!
I would definitely try this one!
I still use an old fashioned backpack pump sprayer, I’ve learned a lot of tips and tricks from your videos
Hi Paul thanks for sharing!
those old school pump sprayers get the job done!
excellent input!
You did a good job on your display. I am now putting mine together and hope it works well for a little while.
Heck yea man the Milwaukee sprayer and the wand would be cool to see on here! The more the videos on your channel, the better! I love the content, man!
Vinny! whats up mayne!?!
long time no see! hope winter wasnt too hard on ya lol
Awesome video 👍🏼. I use the field king 2 gallon battery sprayer. But would definitely like to see the Milwaukee sprayer since I have Milwaukee batteries both m12 and m18. 👍🏼
Thanks boss! That m12 sprayer looks sick!
It’s high on the list of equipment to get this season!
Thanks for stopping by dude!
Great video thanks for the info, i might end up getting this to try out... I am newbie with the sprayer and have small lawn, this might be ideal
I have Harbor Freight really cheap sprayer. I only use it for Ground Clear around the driveway. Would love to give the one you demonstrate a walk around the yard. Thanks for all your great videos. I Have learned a lot .
No Problem Ross! thanks for sharing
Welcome back George!..I kept checking my feed for your initial video of this year…I’m a Milwaukee fan boy lol so I’d love to see you demo that m12 sprayer for your opinion since it is one that I have been considering as well. But only if you didn’t have to pay full price since they aren’t cheap….love the channel!..Paul
appreciate it Paul! that m12 sprayer is on the top of my list for equipment this season, keep an eye out as we may be doing a review on it
Been a while since I’ve seen anything from you George, glad to see you back at it.
Thanks Buddy! were still here, just coming out of hibernation 😂
Great job! I use a 2 gallon Lesco pump sprayer. Works well for my needs.
thanks boss!
Great video! Every electric sprayer I’ve looked at is hella expensive. Definitely checking this one out for my small lawn.
Thanks Bacon!
+1 on the DFW wand. Awesome setup. My sprayer is a My4Sons M4.
Nice rig Frank!
Just wanted to say your videos are fantastic.
Thank you so much!
Great video and I like all the extra information you give. BTW just watched the DEF fertilizer video and I will give it a try this weekend.
I have a manual sprayer and a Chameleon hose end sprayer... just recently getting into the lawn care thing and found your channel
My go to sprayer right now is just a Ryobi ONE+ 18V 4gal backpack sprayer. Got it on sale for a great price with leaf blower and interchangable battery and charger. Does a solid job for an affordable price.
i always wondered how the ryobi sprayers are.
Do you have any leakage issues?
@@PrincessCutLawnCare I haven't had any leakage issues yet but I did get it late in the season last year so I only used it for a couple of fert applications and a couple of herbicides so far. I had to replace the tip on it though since I didn't like the tip it came with but it takes the normal teejet noozles
Gerogeeeeeeeeee!!!!! We missed you, great video dude!! Yes we want you to test the M12 sprayer!
Shoaib! good to see you brotha! and will do! its on the top of my list:)
Hey George. I’ve missed your videos. Glad to see you posting one. Truthfully , I don’t have a sprayer. We have a walk behind spreader that we use with granulated product.
Appreciate that Rigby! missed you guys too!
Hey George! Glad to see you back man! Like I told you before, you have the best edits for real!
I just have a pump sprayer to be honest 😅
haha thanks lamie! we have a lot of fun editing these videos!
appreciate you stopping by and commenting 😂
Thank you!!
Great video
Great video !!! Currently using the Scott’s 2 gallon battery sprayer. Battery drives me nuts.
Thanks Patrick!
Why dont you like battery? just curious
I currently use a Milwaukee sprayer and had good success, but this would be great for doing spot applications to my lawn, thanks for the info!
no prob! are you using the m18 or m12 milwaukee sprayer?
@@PrincessCutLawnCare I have the m18, got it two seasons ago. Mostly have used it for weed control thus far when applying blanket applications.
@@danmurphy946 nice! Have you had any issues with leakage?
A big reason I am looking at the m12 is that the pump is on top of the tank vs on the bottom like the m18 version
@@PrincessCutLawnCare haven’t had any leakage issues, and I’m also a Milwaukee guy which is why I chose it.
I like that sprayer. It seems to work nice.😊
Its not too bad with a few adjustments!
Hi.. I just have a pump sprayer and the sprayer your showing in this vid looks like something I could use for my 1000 sq. foot lawn. Really enjoy your vids by the way!
Great video. I have a one gallon pump sprayer now with a adjustable nozzle that is not good. I would love an upgrade.
thanks Fred! hopefully we can make that happen for you!
I would like to see the milwaukee tank sprayer reviewed.
you got it boss
Cool!!
I'm still using the Scott's manual pump sprayer. Would love to have one of these battery powered sprayers.
thanks for commenting! good luck!
Build the wand George! Love your channel broski
I dont have a sprayer so this would be nice to have 👍. Well done as always George
that would be an epic win Keith!
Good review.
Thanks Dave!
I'm using a Ryobi 18V One gallon sprayer MODEL P2810, already "invested" into Ryobi set so this was an easy choice for me
Nice! A lot of people ask me about the ryobi, how do you like it?
@@PrincessCutLawnCare The one gallon capacity is somewhat limited but if that's all you need (say for weed spot treatment) then its good.
@A Nony Mouse Good question, I just checked mine and it didn't look like it could take a standard tip but a did some searching to confirm and in the process found this video where they show it is possible to use a standard flat tip, requires you to buy a couple of parts though : ruclips.net/video/fFQTai5JBfI/видео.html
Love your content George. I personally only have a 2 gal hand pump sprayer. Some off brand name. Still haven’t pulled the trigger on a battery powered, but would love to give it a try.
Thanks Bryan! battery is a game changer, you will love it
currently using a scotts 2gallon pump sprayer... def going to look for one like this
nice! is it the battery version?
I enjoy your videos sir.
I have been looking at sprayers but I have not pulled the trigger yet.
