    Using the torch to describe projections and then saying that parallel plus perpendicular equals the original vector really clicked, thank you so much!

    Weren't we supposed to square when finding the perpendicular. Wasn't that Pythagoras theorem?
    Secondly weren't we supposed to get the negative of everything?
