- Mia is a 15-year-old girl, bullied in her school by a cheerleader. One day, her grandmother meets her and tells that she is a princess of a small European kingdom. Since she has to act like a princess, she learns the royal ettiques and go through a makeover. Josh, her long time crush, is impressed by Mia’s look and asks her out. You realized the whole story is made up, right? It’s not like the movie’s being sold as a true story. Movie makers all over the world make up locations all the time. It’s entertainment.
For me personally Lily is not a good character because she is a dislikeable.. friend, the fact that she didn't appreciate Mia for her new look and within that she absolutely didn't need to argue. but overall a good movie. 👍

Judith was every inch an empress--short, curly blond hair, ethereal beauty, playfully smarter than I, and thankful to have escaped the Russian occupation in '56. Years later, divorced, I called her. She was married, with five children, distraught and crying when she heard my name. Through sobs, She told me she had always and still was in love with me. "Why didn't you tell me?" I said. Stupid me.

I really enjoyed this movie.
I saw this I'ed give it 3 thumbs up but I only have two so that is what it gets. GREAT movie if a little sappy. Well worth seeing.

Its an entertaining movie.I like how some of the actors from "Pretty Woman" are also in this. "Joe" head of security, the Stylist and even the waiter from PW who caught the "slippery little suckers"!
