I was there at this show. One of the many superb backing bands he’s played with over his career made up of equally superb musicians
. His recordings are great, but a live show will blow your socks off. I’ve seen him over 100 times.
He will go down as one of the Greats in the guitar World. Masterpiece after Masterpiece he never, ever fails to deliver
Joe Bonamassa doing "Going Down" at the Greek theater is not to be missed.
He opened for BBKing for a whole summer when he was 12. He's been playing since he was 4. He is the cleanest player I've ever heard.
You should hear his voice now!Check out his latest 28th #1 blues album Live at the Hollywood Bowl his band plays with an orchestra. And check out Black Country Communion channel for there album V it's one of his side projects. It's Joe, Glenn Hughes, Derrick Sheridan and Jason Bonham.
Oh this was at the Royal Albert Hall.
Joe also opened for BB KING when he was 13yrs old, I believe that's I read. I KNOW he opened for him
Some history, Joe B opened up for BB King when he was 12 years old. Checkout "I'll play the Blues for You" also " Stone Cold" featuring Jimmy Barns. Both live ed.
When he plays he is in a trance, a spiritual one. The best guitar player in the world.
I absolutely agree that he's the greatest guitarist in the world !
Love JoeB!!!!
"I'll Play The Blues For You"
"Just 'Cos You Can, Don't Mean You Should"
This make me goosebun over my hold body..thank now i know this amazing singer..
Joe has been playing guitar 🎸 since he was 4. At 9, he was playing music professionally with people 20 years older than him. At 12, he toured and opened for BB King.
Check out Joe and Beth Hart version of I'll take care of you
Also Joe version of I'll play the blues for you
I'm so glad you liked this Alex. He has a beautiful soft voice, and I just love the way he plays his guitars. As a few have mentioned, he has worked with Beth Hart. The two togehter is just great!
you should see (and hear) his collaborations with Beth Heart!
Joe to me is the best of the BEST!!! He’s fn amazing and the only artist that can make one have the goose bumps.
Joe Bonamassa in the time I've followed him plays with Amazing Musicians who have changed many times . Sloe Gin ( Live ar Red Rock ) is on another level Please give it a listen.
He was a prodigy of the guitar as a child and recognized by BB King as an up and coming talent.
From one of his early days: If Heartaches Were Nickels (live) on the album Joe Bonamassa “Live From Nowhere in Particular" might be a good one to try.
Glad for those paying to hear subscribers to get these top artists heard by you. I love both of them x years. Beth Hart and Joe B blues together are out of this world. Hint hint . Lol
My two favorite artists hands down
Hey Alex, Glad you got to hear Joe B. He is in that exquisite club of great Blues guitarist, including: Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King, Muddy Waters and so many more. They all have one think in common and that is Buddy Guy, the living legend himself. Here's Mr. Bonamassa playing with the 87 year old Mr. Buddy Guy At a sold out venue just two and a half months ago. Buddy Guy - Joe B Jam / Cheaper to Keep Her - Montreux Jazz Festival - 14 July 2023 Rb
One of the best blues songs ever recorded is "Stone Cold" by Jimmy Barnes featuring Joe Bonamassa.
I've seen him in London amazing guitarist
You ain't heard nothing yet Alex. His catalog is vast. Best blues guitarist living in my book. And his voice!! More more and with Beth Hart " I will take care of you" . Talk about goosebump party.
I've seen in him in London amazing guitar player
Joe isnt just a guitar player if anyone has masterd to he instrument its Joe he is very technical and has studied music ,sound the guitar its self he is super intelligent
Glad you like him
Saw him first when he was the opening act for B.B. KING, he was just a young kid but even then he could play the strings off guitar 🎸 and still tours a lot
him SRV and a couple of others, the best
Hi from New Zealand. You mentioned BB King. I'm pretty sure Joe bonamassa opened for him when Joe was 12 years old. I hope I'm right with that information. Great reaction brother
Hi again. Yeah I was right. Joe opened for BB King when he was only 12 years old. Cheers mate 👍
This was originally a Gary Moore song from Gary Moore and the Midnight Blues Band 🔥 check out the original 👍
Proponuję posłuchać tego bluesa. To świetny blusman, z mojego kraju. Pozdrawiam z Polski.👍
Fun Fact: He is using the famous 1959 Gibson Greenie Les Paul , owned by Peter Green, Gary Moore and now Kirk Hammett.
That's a *'59 Gibson Les Paul* that Joe's playing, one of three (?) '59's that he owns and plays professionally on stage. At heart, regardless of the ego that *ALL* great artists must possess in order to be great, Joe Bonamassa is a humble man who is *ALWAYS* ready to give credit to his fellow band mates, as well as those artists who have influenced him. I truly believe that is why he has been able to attract *WORLD CLASS* musicians far older than he is, as well as great backup singers, to play on his studio albums, and to tour with him.
Check out the extensive list of those older, well-established musicians and singers that he has played with.
*He has played to sold out concerts in all 4 of England's premier music venues, as well as Red Rocks, the Beacon Theatre, Carnegie Hall, the Vienna Opera House, the Sydney Opera House, the Ryman Auditorium, and many other venues.*
His two 100% acoustic concerts at the Vienna Opera House and Carnegie Hall were masterpieces.
He was a mere 12 years old when B.B. King saw him being interviewed by Jane Pauley on a special that she used to host, and *INVITED* him to open for him as a 12 year old preteen.
If you want something cool, check out Joe and John Hiatt, live in new york. Down Around My Place. One if my favorites and you get introduced to an American Songwriting legend in John Hiatt.
your right Alex music that makes you feel and moves you is truly priceless... Joe Bonamassa is an incredible artist.. Take a listen to his tune Why does it take so long to say goodbye
He opened up for BB King at 12 years old
I've seen joe live six times, and he never disappoints. His audience has a high percentage of guitar players who understand that Joe is something special, a rare gift.
Великолепный блюз!!! мурашки) Помним Гарри Мура!
Great blues!!! goosebumps) Remember Harry Moore! Google translate Rb
I've seen Joe in concert twice, and I have tickets to see him again in about 6 weeks. He's incredible live.
SOooo smooth. I've seen Bonamassa quite a few times. I attended one of Joe's shows in Maine a few years ago. I thought the show was sold out, but I got 2nd-row center stage seats. The show was incredible.
#1 on chart 14 times
Hi Alex if you liked this you have to check out Black Country Communion the song is Sons of Yesterday it's awesome . The members of that band is Glenn Hughes from Deep Purple , Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham son of John Bonham of Led Zepplin , and Derek Sherinian from Dream Theater they are awesome
I'm not generally a fan of reaction videos, and have probably heard this song a hundred times. I sometimes watch reaction videos to JB because it reminds me of the surprise and thrill, I first had.
Watching you discover and react to The phenomenon was a pleasure! What a gentleman!
You should review Stevie Ray Vaughan"s Texas Flood live at El Mocambo!
You are not ready !
MORE JOE! 👍
Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa
"I'd Rather Go Blind"
And literally the nicest guy in the game!
Amazing tribute to Gary Moore, he built the groundwork for guys like Joe to come through. I was lucky enough to see Joe a few years ago, brain melting show
He grew up in Rochester New York and I saw him the first time in a bar up in Northern New York when he was about 16.
💯
The same concert check out Joe with Beth Hart singing Ide Rather be a blind girl. The two together are MAGIC!
Joe Bonamassa is the best blues guitarist in the world. I listen to him every day. A true prodigy, opening for BB King when he was 13, I want you and your viewers to check out a girl who will soon be a major star. Her Name is Lucy Thomas. I"ve waited over 50 years for a voice this good. Check out her RUclips videos where she sings "All by Myself" and "Hallelujah" People really need to hear this girl sing. Then, try to find another female voice this good. I've been a serious and picky music fan since before the Beatles played Shay Stadium. You will be amazed at Lucy's vocal skills.
Joe is so good. If you can go see him just do it.
Watch him play a song called drive on youtube live in carnegie hall version. It will leave you speechless!
I second that. With the fabulous Tina Guo.
I’ll Play the Blues for You live at the Greek Theatre!
I’d Rather Go Blind with Beth Hart !
Yeah this is considered one of his slow soft songs wait until you get into some of his really crazy fast music. You really need to dive into him do a deep dive😮 don't forget to come up for air😅😅
I think he played with BB King at 11 or 12 yrs old
visit Nerdville
@AlexNChannel...Check his collaborative works with Beth Hart.. Her voice will send chills down your spine... Nothing wrong with his voice but she's on a whole other level. I'd rather go blind... Is a good song to start with
😅 I’m
