Why do you think it's impossible without new books? Glukhovsky worked tightly with 4A Games and co-wrote story for the games which is different than in books (though largely compatible and complements them, e.g. 2034 which is about Hunter), so they could write a story without a book. Anyway, there are other problems for future development of series - studio is Ukrainian (among other obvious implications, one of the lead animators died defending Ukraine from Russian invasion) and Glukhovsky had problems in Russia due to pro-Ukrainian position for which he was forced to flee the country.

I heard you have a Russian waifu in this game and as a Fallout Fan I gotta pick up Russian Fallout!
Well, you see, the thing is that Russian fallout has none of the 50’s whimsy of fallout, but with 350% more depression. Also, I’m not an anime fan, but I’m pretty sure that Anna is a lot better written and fleshed out than most waifus,
This whole series are masterpieces I love all metro games
Metro deserves far more love than it gets.
also:
"STAY BACK, I HAVE A LIGHTER"
Me: Hahahaha. Wait till you meets the *REAL* spiders
I love metro series so freaking muchhh no matter how i've done it multiple times
Im loving the fact he hinted the COD MW 2 "No Russian" mission at 5:45
Kev playing metro?!
Let's fucking go boys
Just started replaying this game, so I was pleasantly surprised to see this video in my notifications
I went full stealth on this game so seeing the absolute guns blazing chaos of this play through was cathartic in a way.
Earth Defense Force with friends
As long as Artyom still breathes the last gigachad won't die. The guy is basically John Wick by the end of Last Light
Or at least I feel that way from enemy dialogue
Honestly, true. You are a master of war by last light, and then you just get even better in Exodus. The amount of stuff you do is insane.
@@KincaidCalder-vn6bo RIGHT??? I made this comment before I got to play Exodus, now that I have whatbi said almost doesn't do justice. Artyom would BODY John Wick. For less than a dead dog even. By the time I was crossing that last track I felt So so damn powerful
@@Dirty0o0Jester Yeah, the amount of stuff you do/survive is insane. In exodus, you literally sneak through a building infested with an even worse version of the librarians, but also while suffering incredibly lethal levels of radiation. You also manage to make it through unknown territory full of crazy “children” and bandits without any knowledge of the area, and even murder a giant mutated bear (again). Artyom is, frankly, insane. Not to mention that (at least in the good ending) he survives having to have something like 85% of his blood replaced.
6:01 that is such a cheese snowstorm effect. Notice that it's not "in world", it's like a filter on the screen as the snow particles remain on trajectory as he turns and moves around. Real snow doesn't track your movements like that lol.
0:59 Yooo, that's a piece from the Fallout New Vegas soundtrack!
I love the fact that I can choose any of your videos, even at random, and it's a guaranteed great time. Love your videos, Kev! I was wondering if you plan to do a playthrough of Reckoning?
Skipped over these games and somehow saw nothing about it till now. Triple pack now purchased.
Wish I'd seen this stream live, great vid as always Kev! Metro is one of my favourites
Definitely feel like more people should play the metro series truly the best story fps franchise out there today by far
metro was ahead of its time. still holds up to top games today
It was today, 2024.
August 29th, The last Gigachad has finally passed away.
Metro Exodus begins.
If you want the good ending then try not to kill anyone
If you want the good ending instead of the bad ending then you gotta replay the game.
Man thank you for playing thus MASTERPIECE, ypu should definitely play the previous 2 games
The comedy is on point 😂😂😂 definitely earned my sub
Unironiclly and accidentally doing a psychopath playthrough of Metro. I should have known Kev would end up doing this.
I just finished the Metro 2033 and i was impressed, is really good , ill will continue with last light this weekend. This franchise is what i expected from fallout.
I wish they'd give us another Metro game, I know that is impossible without anymore books, but we need a good apocalyptic world setting game as this.
@Pop Pop: Better hit me up with that sauce.
@Pop Pop: Source or didn't happen.
theres a new one in the way i think
Why do you think it's impossible without new books? Glukhovsky worked tightly with 4A Games and co-wrote story for the games which is different than in books (though largely compatible and complements them, e.g. 2034 which is about Hunter), so they could write a story without a book. Anyway, there are other problems for future development of series - studio is Ukrainian (among other obvious implications, one of the lead animators died defending Ukraine from Russian invasion) and Glukhovsky had problems in Russia due to pro-Ukrainian position for which he was forced to flee the country.
I have good news and bad news. The good news is that another one is on the way, and it’s set in 2028 in the Moscow metro, following a doctor trying to save his wife. The bad news is, it’s for VR only,
as a self proclaimed vet of the metro series, you did fine
I spawned a car in cyberpunk by throwing a knife 😂😂😂😂😂 dudes a savage
Was satisfying stealthing the tug boat and all of the cultist sections and it honestly was probably faster than it took you to waste all of your ammo lol
only time I laughed out loud..like for 5mins..is when the character sees the Aurora and says "Thooomas"...bro, made my day)
You know you are truly loved when your family and friends send you to certain death just to get a teddy bear.
26:00 Duke will live if u dont hurt the cultists
"I don't have any ammo left!" .....I can literally see your bullets in the mag XD
Oh that Fallout music on backround :D
That fallout theme in metro is just..so good
i love how blatant it is that the bunker is a trap. i was cringing as miller was getting hyped and telling them everything about us and i know artyom felt the same lol.
Not stealthing the bridge does kill Duke, and killing neutral factions also affects the ending.
Homie was literally playing the spirit tracks theme when backing that train up XD
I love the spirit tracks music on the small train
Ranger hard-core on the first run?! Damn!. This man is brave... or maybe he just hate himself.
0:25 that Calgary diss hurt
This is really funny. I'm a huge fallout fan, just bought a new pc. Just played the enhanced edition and loved this game so much. There's so back backstory and lore its great.
What a coincidence, I just finished metro exodus last night and then kevduit uploads.
Okay I've never played this, but that 3 bullet, 4 throwing knife takedown has to be some of *the* most impressive gameplay I have ever witnessed.
Side note, Kev you use the exact same mouse as me
Never new the fallout music would fit so well to this game.
Respect for the background music
Metro series is top 5 gaming series I've played so good and is unjustly underrated
Thank you for reminding me how absolutely unsettling the New Vegas ambient music is.
"Its one hour since I've been looking for Teddy.....I hate my life!" has got to be one of my favourite lines ever. Loving it!
Kevduit I almost thought your title said: “Metroid is WAY more brutal than I thought”. lol 😆
This is one of the best looking games to exist
I agree but holy shit a lot of the environments are painted on and pretty lazy. Specifically on Volga the ground has the exact same texture copy and pasted
This is just the beginning, but i can already see the bad ending
Hahaha! I was like, "Ooh new Kevduit video! Ope. Can't watch it I'm playing the first one now," lmao
This is one of the best games I've ever played.
