What you said about it being crazy that all girls aren’t taught this. YES!!! Half of the planet needs this info yet we’re all forced to live like men. We need so many different things from what men need. This is why so many diets don’t work well for women either. Most studies are done on men and it just doesn’t work for us.
Exactly!! We are built completely different! You’re right, so many of the health studies out there like fasting have been done on men, not on menstruating women, and a lot of this kind of stuff doesn’t work for us. I hope that over the next few years this stuff becomes more common knowledge ❤️

I have endometriosis and experience each phases of my cycle in a very intense way. I've never been able to keep a healthy routine because of that (which made my symptoms worse). I've start cycle syncing a few months ago and it changed my life! Everything is easier and I've never been this healthy 😌❤️ I feel more connected to myself ☺️
This was so fascinating and makes so much sense! I’m upset that I’m JUST NOW learning about all this!! I had my little notebook taking notes to try to implement some of your suggestions. Thank you for this! I have a feeling this will be life changing 😁
thank you so much lady, i'm over 10yrs your senior and just now am i awakening to cycle synching. I know I subconsciously already do most of it via intuition but I took notes so that I can be more pragmatic about it and I am so excited! thank you!
I love how you walked through each area in life for each cycle phase. I also appreciate that you mentioned multiple times that this really only works if your hormones are pretty balanced because I know too many women who try to solve their problems without digging into the root cause, which is often imbalanced hormones.
I hear ya, I'm 39 and just finding this information now and I'm so grateful! I dread the week before my period just as much as my actual period. The week before I'm such an irritated angry person and the week of I'm just in so much pain.

I loveee this ❤ it really helped me understand myself better and combined with the book ive recently read - "In The Flo" , i feel like ive gained soo much knowledge on the topic that isn't talked abot enough. Thank you❤
I started having horrible mood swings during the week or so before my period would come. I think I have PMDD, but my Obgyn put me on Zoloft and after only one dose I lost my libido, which is really important to me and my relationship. So, I’m going to try cycle synching. I know about a year ago I started eating healthy and working out and I felt great! My bf got a hernia and we both started being lax in our diet and exercise and that’s when I started noticing the major mood swings start. Thank you for the informative video.
Thank you for this educational video! For quite a long time I wanted to get to know about my cycle more and this is exactly what I was looking for! Now I will count approximately in which phase I am now and move with the advices related to it. The best thing you can do is to move along with nature🌸
Almost cry when you mentioned i should eat more during luteal phase. I’m close to my period days and feel much more hungry than usual and been kinda beat myself up for wanting to eat me. Thank you 🥹
Off topic but your hair is absolutely GORGEOUS! & I’m very interested in tracking my cycle as I was on birth control for a while & just want to find a natural way in family planning :)
Thank you for making this video! I also struggle with exercise intolerance, more specifically when doing High intensity workouts I get nauseous/cramps very easily and so I'm going to try this method out for a bit and see how it works for me. Such important stuff to know !
So glad that I found this video. All girls should know about this and take it serious. It could be life changing. Thank you for sharing this, it makes so much sense. 👍👍
Thank you, I have a bunch of post notes and some more research to do around syncing my cycle with Type 1 Diabetes. I've also been going through an intense sick period and weight loss journey.
I can't believe I'm just finding out about this at 30. I came here from another video I saw about lowering your cortisol levels to reduce bloating in your face & body, then they mentioned cycle syncing. I'm still new to exercising as that's never really been my thing but I really wanna try syncing my food and we'll see how that goes.
Just finished reading and sharing your post a few days ago on Cycle Syncing and am so happy I found you. ❤️ I’m very excited to start a whole new journey as I’m working to improve myself and the health of my cycle. Keep up the great work! Subscribed! 💖
Thank you for the informative insight! I'm now 29 years old. I still have so many questions about my anatomy pertaining to my cycle as PMS really hits me. Like many fellow women; I hadn't been taught much about my periods other than the typical symptoms. So many PMS symptoms are also symptoms of implantation bleeding, pregnancy, breast, and ovarian cancer.... the female anatomy is very complex. I had been extremely depressed w/ full-time employment which resulted in irregular periods. Now, I have more regulated periods since becoming a Homemaker/ Housewife. Though, I think understanding and syncing my cycle would help w/ effective delegation w/o feeling stressed. When I'm overloaded w/ stress; I miss a period or start late. When I feel airy w/ minimal to non-existent stress; I start my period on time. Stress dictates my cycle.... thank goodness I'm a homemaker now. Even so, I wish I knew which timeframe would be ideal to conceive so that I could finally become a SAHM. Hmm.
After watching this now ik how important is knowing and understanding menstrual cycle, bcs i've always blaming myself when im not productive not knowing that it's just my menstrual cycle and i shouldn't blame myself about it. Thank you so much your explanation is really easy to understand and i realize im in my luteal phrase 😂
This is where PMDD become important to understand and help other women that are suffering...they say it’s only 3 to 5% that suffer but more and more are coming forward and lies about having a total hysterectomy and ovary removal is being recommended. I opt for HRT at 47 after suffering since 16. And 100% worse in peri menopause 😱
I remember one day, I had so much pain in my stomach from my period that I almost passed out. I felt dizzy, my blood pressure dropped and I had to lay on the ground. I saw the doctor about it and all she could tell me is "if it happens again let me know" No advice , no information, no help whatsoever. I have since been on Ibuprofen for it, where if i don't take it, I end up on the floor again like the above. I am so happy I found this video and will get the book too. Thankyou
i have this too sometimes, but eating a very clean diet, no sugar or ice cream etc on my period has really helped with this. also breathwork!! helps to breathe through the pain.
Hey 🦋 firstly I’m sorry that you were going through this, I used to have painful periods trust me but now seriously it’s just a little uncomfortable no pain at all it’s perfect ♥️ So I would recommend you to try yoni steam with organic herbs 🫶🏻 this helps alotttt and exercise good food magnesium
I learned about cycle syncing on your channel and it was a game changer. I first started with food, and like you said. No fun. lol So then I focused on my workouts which was significantly easier, next I am doing work/businesses. Between cycle syncing my work outs and businesses productivity and sprinkling in the food consciousness, this entire concept has been life shifting, After a couple of cycles I plan to do my personal relationships. So excited, thank you as always. You're literally the best.
During the ovulation phase we are more attractive too, our face is more symmetrical, we are prettier and subconsciously we dress sexier and we act more ‘feline’ to attract males 😄 my partner says he can feel my pheromones all over the place and asks what do I have today as he feels so attracted by me ? 😁😁😁 Women’s bodies are amazing ! I can totally relate to everything you mentioned , I have learned about this a few years ago and I already know not to be hard on my self before and during the period, even doing very little at work because I literally have no energy and sometimes I take a nap (thanks God for smart working 😂) Thank you for the video Jillz! Followed you recently and loving your content !
I found this video SUPER helpful & that it a lot of beneficial insight whether you've been into cycle syncing or just getting into it (like I am). I feel I watched this at the perfect time bc my menstrual cycle is on the rise and this video gave me some new ideas to try and integrate into my life. Thanks Jillz! I believe all women should at least learn about these phases to have a gauge on why or what may be causing them to feel or act the ways that they do & overall have a better understanding about body awareness. Overall loved this video for it being my first time officially looking into cycle syncing.
Back to its nature, we’re different from the nature, not the same background, age, gender,… whatever. So don’t compare with someone else. We’re unique, and we’re sent here to learn our own lessons, meet destined people, and watch, hear what we need to. This life is precious and magical!
I am so grateful that I found this video today! Things that were never taught to me! And I can see the patterns looking back on this - and omg it's going to be life changing! Thank you so much
I am syncing my creativity with my cycles. I batch create content when I have the most energy and get prepared to receive when I am on my periods because then I have the lowest energy
I've been watching your videos for a month now and they've been extremely helpful! You give such great advice which can be easily applied to regular life, ILY please make more videos!!
I find that strength training and heavy exertion exercise is best during ovulation, just feel like superwoman. Best attitude, everything is rosie. Then I have the rest of the month to wait around for ovulation again 😭 I noticed that going low carb a couple days prior to mensus really helps with bloating and cramping.
Menstrual phase -during periods -hormones are low -productivity is low, take things slow, greater intuition, plan things for next month Low energy, rest Take rest, walk, gentle yoga, extra hour sleep Follicular phase -after periods(7-10days)period between bleeding & ovulation -estrogen levels are rising slowly Height creativity-dream big ,plan things Running, dancing, new workouts Ovulatory phase-3-4days(hormone peak) Work-social communication, writing etc High intensity training Luteal phase -time between ovulation and next bleed (Hormones at lowest point)(Annoying)-10-14 days To wrap things up, clean things up-less creativity, less productivity,do things that doesnt need thoughts. Yoga, less energy lighter workouts as period approaches
Serously you have been a great help!!!! Is there a video out there what samples of meals to eat during all this phases? Thanks for this information I am right now completing my 1 year without a period and losing it with what is going on with my body.
Im choosing to get in more fiber and healthy carbs into my luteal phase as I am nearing right now because I get bad PMS symptoms. I will get back here after trying this for a month. Hope this works for me!
Hi Jillz. This is such an informative video. When i was 22 i had lots of energy and as a result i got into the gym and did intense workouts for 6 days a week. As years passed by i noticed my monthly flow became lighter and days shorter. Workouts did diminish my generalized anxiety...i did made my montly almost dissapear. Now at 29 i do workout bc my anxiety goes through the roof but my period comes only for a day and im lefr angry for the rest of my cycle bc i dont bleed. Maybe i should just cut the working out completely but im afraid my anxiety will come up again. Its a lose lose situation🤦♀️🙄
Hi ! I normally never comment on videos but I found this so interesting! Thank you so much for all the info.. I really want to implement this in my life but I've been on birth control since 15- I'm 21 now... does that impact cycle syncing? I definitely feel changes in my mood during the month but I've heard that the pill does block some hormones.. crazy how this stuff isn't taught in school!
I’m so glad it was helpful for you! So most hormonal birth control stabilizes your hormones meaning these shifts might not be *as* dramatic but you can absolutely still do it and benefit from it!!
Absolutely LOVED the way this video was organized. Simple and to the point. Lots of great points made and helped me understand cycle-syncing on a beginner level. Thank you so much!
This was amazing!!! Have you made a video on where menopausal, post menopausal, and pregnant females fit into this cycle syncing? I want to share this info with all the ladies in my life but I don’t know how to share with the groups listed above :) thanks!
So cycle syncing like this is specific to women having a period! Post menopausal and pregnant women have different hormone levels and they don't go in cycles like this. Post menopausal hormones are more steady, while pregnancy is more of a build up to birth and getting the body ready for labor and stuff 😊
I understand that follicular is supposed to be one for planning and menstrual when u relax and ovulatory when u go all out and luteal when u bring things to a completion. This i think is relatively easier to do when you're a working person who is in charge of her work for example a businesswoman. She can schedule and reschedule her meetings and tours etc according to her phases. I find cycle syncing pretty challenging to accomplish as a student where we dont know when an exam would come up or when there would be any sports or other co curricular activities taking place. I obviously can't reschedule them according to my cycles. Any tips on how to cycle sync as a student?
Definitely a little harder as a student! It's just about doing the best you can...but my advice is studying the most and getting ahead when you have the energy and the drive (usually follicular and ovulatory phases) ❤️
You can still apply these principles loosely! So for the menstrual phase, don't push yourself as much as you normally would. For the follicular phase, maybe do more reps, less weight, add in some light cardio. Ovulatory phase, try to push it hard and then start letting yourself rest more/go easier as you get deeper and deeper into your luteal phase. But I'm not a personal trainer or anything so take this with a grain of salt lol, but this is what I would do!
What you said about it being crazy that all girls aren’t taught this. YES!!! Half of the planet needs this info yet we’re all forced to live like men. So true - so many research on diets (keto, fasting, low carb) was done on MEN and then applied to female bodied people. Not cool!
And yet having such beautiful diversities in men and women, most of the Feminists are shouting out to be men and burning the true women inside us!
@@sadiaislam5068 feminisem is not about becoming a man but doing what u like as a woman with no man controlling u , so i'm sorry for u for seing such bad exmpl of feminists but what i saw was smart hardworking dream achieving women teaching me my worth as a girl ( also respcting the good guys not alpha males with red pill idiolgy and that shit )
That is correct. Medicine is studied primarily on men only also bc their bodies are more stable. It’s a shame.

I am syncing my creativity with my cycles. I batch create content when I have the most energy and get prepared to receive when I am on my periods because then I have the lowest energy
most important video and channel on youtube for all women to see, imo :)
I couldn't do this when I was younger and now that my cycle had regulated, I'm very ready for the jelly!
Could you please do a more in depth video on foods to eat during different phases of the cycle? Thank you 💖
I have one already! It’s in my cycle syncing playlist! 😊
@@JillzGuerin Amazing! Thank you 😃💖
This is really useful i wrote it and will try to understand myself more thank you for the Arabic translation 😊
I support you ❣
literally watching this at day 1 of my cycle so great time! gonna give this a go :)
Haha perfect!! 🙌🙌
I've been watching your videos for a month now and they've been extremely helpful! You give such great advice which can be easily applied to regular life, ILY please make more videos!!
Thank you so much!! Will do! ❤️❤️
Great video, you are very good at explaining things clearly and simply, thank you for the knowledge 👏
Thank you!! I really try to make things as simple and clear as possible 😊
Every woman should know this.
Menstrual phase -during periods -hormones are low
-productivity is low, take things slow, greater intuition, plan things for next month
Low energy,rest
Take rest,walk,gentle yoga,extra hour sleep
Follicular phase -after periods(7-10days)period between bleeding & ovulation -estrogen levels are rising slowly
Height creativity-dream big ,plan things
Running,dancing,new workouts
Ovulatory phase-3-4days(hormone peak)
Work-social communication, writing etc
High intensity training
Luteal phase -time between ovulation and next bleed
(Hormones at lowest point)(Annoying)-10-14 days
To wrap things up, clean things up-less creativity, less productivity,do things that doesnt need thoughts.
Yoga, less energy lighter workouts as period approaches
Serously you have been a great help!!!! Is there a video out there what samples of meals to eat during all this phases? Thanks for this information I am right now completing my 1 year without a period and losing it with what is going on with my body.
❤ thank you so much for all this info 😊
Thank you for sharing this essential info ❤
Beautiful im writing all this down.
Omg you have no idea how helpful this is !!😍😍😍
Yay so glad!! 😊
Do you have a podcast?? I would listen to you all day. 💕
Im choosing to get in more fiber and healthy carbs into my luteal phase as I am nearing right now because I get bad PMS symptoms. I will get back here after trying this for a month. Hope this works for me!
, love, I did some yoga today because it's that time of the month
Amazing Video thanks so much for the great information
Ya I’m 36 and just learning this. 🤦🏽♀️
Game changing!!
Thank you so much 🙏🏾❤️👏🏾🥰🥰
This is brilliant! Going to do more research and try this out.
Yay so glad!! ❤️❤️
I admire this video ... thank you 💚
I love this!
💖💖
So useful❤
This is excellent. Thank you!
You're very welcome! ❤️❤️
I'm synching food to my cycle first!
Mi watching this. When my sweet PCod has skipped my periods last 2 months 😁
Do you have a visual of the cycles and information you show? If not, that would be so helpful to keep on hand and follow along with.
I actually do have helpful infographics on my cycle syncing blog post on my website! jillzguerin.com/2020/05/19/cycle-syncing-101/
@@JillzGuerin Thank you!! will check them out.
Thank You 💓💞🥰🙏
Thank you so much 👏❤️
Thankyou! ♥️😍
You’re welcome!!❤️
@@JillzGuerin 😍♥️
Thank you so much. Super interesting topic!
Glad you enjoyed :)
Absolutely LOVED the way this video was organized. Simple and to the point. Lots of great points made and helped me understand cycle-syncing on a beginner level. Thank you so much!
Ah yay so glad you loved it!! 🥰
Amazing ❤🎯
The follicular phase is actually the first phase
Hi! I really loved this video ,but I was wondering what if we wish to increase our muscle mass, how would we sync our workouts?
You can still apply these principles loosely! So for the menstrual phase, don't push yourself as much as you normally would. For the follicular phase, maybe do more reps, less weight, add in some light cardio. Ovulatory phase, try to push it hard and then start letting yourself rest more/go easier as you get deeper and deeper into your luteal phase. But I'm not a personal trainer or anything so take this with a grain of salt lol, but this is what I would do!
Please ake a Video on exercise intolerance!!!
Love this so sweet how you explain, are there any good apps that help us track or remind us what face we are in so we take it easy or hard 😆 thanks
Yes! It’s called “MyFlo Period Tracker” 😊😊
Love this thank you jills ❤ can you please make a video about how a female is like in a healthy relationship ? Appreciate you ❤❤
Good idea!! Thank you! 💖
its okay girl - it took me 34 years to finally learn haha
It was very interesting👍 🍀
Thanks!!!
