    I would like to add giving up caffeine as a way to reduce anxiety. I was a serious caffeine addict. When I got breast cancer a few years ago, my mind was racing constantly and disasterizing . I could not relax at all. I gave up caffeine in an attempt to calm my anxiety since I was already going through a very stressful event. It made a huge difference in my anxiety. My mind stopped racing and I was able to rationally think without the caffeine coursing through my veins. That one change has helped me tremendously.

    • @DominiqueFrancon
      @DominiqueFrancon 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@saandyy900 yes, I switched to decaf. I only quit caffeine and by doing that, I gained control over my appetite. Caffeine made me jittery, which made me want to eat. Not being jittery, I didn’t want to snack all the time and I lost weight. I’ve read that you have to be healthy to lose weight, not the other way around. Turned out to be true.

    Your anxiety is not always a bad thing. Sometimes it is a sign. When you have your intuitive hit but you don't listen right away, it can manifest as this low level anxiety that doesnt go away until you fix the problem. Do not focus on the anxiety. Focus on the good things around you. Focus on the wonderful qualities you have. Focus on growth. On solving the problem. Sometimes your anxiety is the result of a pattern your brain learned in the past. Don' t identify as an anxious person. See your anxiety as something that will pass. Anxiety can spiral. In order not to go there, go to a happier thought on the neurological scale.

    I love your videos! You give really good points and solutions. With anxious thoughts, for me its like I already know what’s the right way of thinking, but it’s hard to let myself think and believe these positive thoughts because of the “what if’s.” However you hit the nail right on the head with your points about being present and simply thinking about the next positive thought rather than forcing yourself to be happy!

    I love that you brought up things like exercise, painting, drawing, or things like that as being a “release” because they really are and I think that if I can think of those activities more that way instead of exercise for example sometimes being like a chore, it will really motivate me to do them more often because I’ll be thinking of how much better I feel after I do them and have that release. We do all need an outlet like that on a daily basis.

    This video helped me so much. I know now that my anxiety is a signal about my relationship. We have kids though so I hope the anxiety will improve if our relationship can improve. I learned from your other videos to stop mothering him and to embrace my feminine energy and help him embrace his masculine energy. Hope that helps.
    Also I like how exercise is a release for me too but sometimes that's not an option. You made me realise that I can use piano as a release everyday. I realised that I don't actually have to know how to play it and I could just make up a sad song (for example) to help release sadness. Then I could learn more later (It doesn't have to be a GOOD song lol just something to help me).

    Great set of points to consider. When you have a meaningful quote or saying (like the last bit about change it or change the way you view it), it would be nice if you put that text onscreen and pause 2-3 seconds to let that sink in before rushing on to the next sentence. I love how concise your videos are and not overly fluffed as some YT's are, but it hit me after you had moved on how powerful that sentence was. Love your content and wish you the best!

    How do you release trauma from your body? My whole body feels like a wooden plank, especially in my hip area. Would prefer not to go into detail but a lifetime of bullying and horrible self esteem, cutting myself etc. has left my body completely frozen. I literally can NOT dance. Not even completely alone, I've tried a thousand things but the second I try to move my hips or anything, I'll freeze and start to cry. Obviously I can't be feminine while having this issue. Even my boyfriend pointed out how I'm as stiff as a board when he tried to jokingly waltz with me. (it's a very healthy relationship, he was joking, I am the issue in our relationship, not him)

    • @chRizma

      I'm like this with singing sometimes! I feel like I want to sing and cry it out but it feels weird, I need to be alone and in the right space to do it. I started releasing some things with journaling and EFT (There are a lot of EFT tapping videos online you can follow along with, you can search eft and whatever thing you want help with). Doing that for some time helped me eventually feel comfortable enough to work with a somatic experiencing therapist. There's also other therapies like the therapy Jillz mentioned. Fascia work releases trauma as it loosens the bound up tissue. There are honestly so many resources for releasing trauma these days, if you research online or read some books about it you'll likely come across some modalities that resonate with you!

    You are _not_ your mind. You said "take a step back, get out of yourself for a minute and act as a third person", and it's paramount that people start to discover that they are not their minds at all, rather we are the totality of this vibrational existence in awareness of the thoughts, feelings, physicality and biology. The mind is simply an instrument designed to help us navigate and excel in this world. Your mind will keep on running with or without you. The thoughts will keep recreating themselves and running in loops forever if you let it. Stepping your attention out of the mind is the biggest first step to evolving and refining your experience here as a human. Women were gifted with brilliant minds and emotionally intelligent networks because of our spiritual ability to intuitively feel and discern everything around us. That feminine design can so easily get out of whack if we are not present. Presence, openness, and stillness is key.
