thx for having me. Edit: its also interesting to note the civility is currently one of the very few (if not the only rn) bimetals with a dedicated fingerspin dimple. Good stuff.
Thank you for giving it a look! About the weight, it appears naturally after adding a fingerspin dimple while retaining the old profile shape + bimetal construction. It's possible to cut weight but you can lose other aspects (the ability to use 6061 effectively, the comfortable rim shape, the power available).
I’m pretty new to yo-yoing and I’d like to spend around as much as this one costs, is there any that I should get other than this? Because I really like the black and prismatic coloured one.
Yea I love the civility and for guys like me that literally lift metal and wood and tools all day it’s a good weight but honestly I switch out bearing for the vip bearing bc when I’m not using a vip bearing I feel instantly that it was helping the stability of whatever yoyo I was using but also I’ve never came across a bearing except the vip ultimate ceramic that could actually beat the longevity of the spin time of a vip. Idk why but it seems like they’re tolerances are so tight that you just have to play it for a day or 2 and it eats through lube super fast bc of how long it spins and that v shape just throws lube to the outside of the bearing but I switch out other bearings to the vip. Not always. But if the yoyo doesn’t bind when I want it to and it keeps happening and I can feel that my timing and string thickness and amount is correct then it’s getting the vip. Another thing I’ve noticed about it is that it only snags like that for me when it needs to be cleaned or when it’s brand new but other than that it’s just the most consistent and longest spinning bearing other than the ceramic version and that convex v bearing from mazeltop return tops with the s14 black ceramic balls and nylon cages but I really feel like those cages need to be switched out for metal cages in a yoyo bc then the bearing can carry it’s own spin better and overcome the friction of its own spin. When the cage is to light it spins insanely fast at first but then it kinda quickly slows down.
Gingie you are THE BEST yoyo reviewer if ever seen
Great review, thank you!

light weight yoyos are the best, seems like things are getting heavier again.

Love the original civility, good review!
Why do you keep calling it "Bivility"?
pretty sure I explain this in the video but it's because it's a bimetal civility
bi from bimetal
vility from civility
Bi + vility = Bivility
Yeah, it's a nice yoyo. But I was really hoping you 'd review the new Plasma Crash! 😢
Waiting for better colors. I strongly dislike all the current colors.
@@GingieAle oh, that makes sense. Thanks!
