Sir! Nagstart ako last year to take big leaps sa music career ko. Like, from scratch ulit, iniwanan ko muna banda ko (kasi marami silang ibang priorities pa and may mga misunderstandings din kami). I just felt na hindi kami umuusad. So lumabas ako and I put myself out there (1). Naggigs ako sa mga prods na willing magaccept ng solo acts tulad ko (2). And then isa pang malaking step na ginawa ko (nagstart na ako ng RUclips channel). And then nilako ko na kanta ko everywhere. Nagkaroon ng mga groups and tropa. Until it led me into posting my first song on Spotify. Your thoughts on this video sir made me feel comfortable of what I'm doing and feeling ko tama mga ginagawa ko. I started singing and playing guitar when I was around 12 or 13, I'm turning 20 this November. Sometimes I wonder, may patutunguhan pa ba yung passion ko sa music. Pero it's been a year na since I've listened to Munimuni at sobrang nakakaramdam ako ng hope sa tuwing maririnig ko yung mga kanta nila, sobrang naiinspire ako sa galing nilang lumikha ng kanta. Sa katulad kong walang opportunity makapunta sa mga gigs at makapag join sa mga communities dahil strict ang parents, I'm always slowly losing hope. Pero ngayon naisipan kong ibinge watch yung vlog mo about starting a band and writing a song. Naremind ako na even though there are lack of support, mag-isa man ako sa path na to, I shouldn't give up. All of a sudden, just this October I created my own RUclips channel and posted a cover and my own song here (took me so long to finally create one). Konting push pa and motivate sa sarili. Salamat, Munimuni.

i really wanted to join a band for a long time now ever since nahilig ako sa mga banda nung bata palang ako atsaka nung natuto ako maggitara kahit basic pa lang non. ngayong pandemic, nagkaroon ako ng mas mahabang time magpractice sa paggigitara at magaral ng music theory and stuff, pero lam mo yon, nasa level palang ng pagiging campfire guitarist. mas naging malakas din yng desire ko sa pagbabanda. kaso dami lang talagang hindrances. underprivileged ako, kaya walang gear (luckily meron na akong low end bass na pinapahiram sakin ng tiyuhin ko at nagdadabble naman ako ron). gusto kong matuto ng iba pang guitar techniques kaso nahihirapan ako sa kapal ng neck, issue sa string action, atsaka tunog, kaya hindi ko nadarama yung pageensayo, dahil hanap talaga ng puso ko ay electric guitar na kahit low end lang. tsaka di ko kayang magtake ng risk. hindi dahil takot ako, kundi wala kasing safety net. di kasi kami privileged. at tsaka isa pa, mga 1 to 2 years ago marami na akong nagiging kaklase na mga nagbabanda at nirereach out ko sila pero hindi nila ako sineseryoso at di sila naniniwala sakin kasi hindi ako showy atsaka babae ako. ngayong pandemic, mas lalo nang umoonti yung posibilidad na makasama ako sa isang banda, tsaka magcocollege na ako kaya mahihirapan ako ibalanse yung time ko kung sakali. heto ako ngayon, writing songs, practicing sa mga times na wala akong ginagawa lalo na may ol class, nagdadaydream na maging gitarista o bassist o bokalista sa isang banda habang unti-unting tinatanggap na baka hanggang dito na lang talaga ako sa kuwarto ko maggigitara.
Just do your thing. Marami kaming natutuwa na kahit sa kung ano anong bagay lang na ginagawa ng mga idolo namin. So anything will do as long as you put your heart into it and it helps other people like us. Thank you TJ for this at sa musika. Really.

We always opt to buy 2nd hand equipments kasi syempre tight nga budget lol and totoo yung nakakatakot din mag-simula kasi you never know how and hindi mo alam kung ano pupuntahan mo 😂 pero I think it all boils down nga kung masaya ka. So far, sobrang saya and fulfilling. Hope to see more vids from you sir!

Actly I'm plning to build a band with my gf at the drums and give more life to the song I've wrote on the past few years in my early highschool and elem days and when I saw this on fb from a friend boss jayvee I didn't hesitate to click and we were actly plning to make a demo cuz my gfs friend is asking for one so he could give to a prod and TBH this helped me to understand more about the music ind. Cuz I usly just listen to music and write song but not looking into the ind. Itself anyway great vid
