Being a musician here in the Philippines is hard, not only because it's difficult to earn money to buy a decent set up, but because some asian parents (Pinoys) see passion in music as a waste of time.
So Salute to every musician who pursued their dreams and Got successful!
Meron naman pinag huhugutan yung kaisipang pag musician iilan lang ang nagiging successful, hindi lang sa pinas yang mindset na yan buong mundo. And lalo na now with the help of technology mas madali maging musician, dami na nga nagiging successful sa social media kahit cover lang ginagawa eh mas oks siya for me kesa sa Busking. Just my opinion.

Ang problema lang nakikita ko eh hinahaluan ng bulakbol at ginagawang dahilan nag pag babanda para sirain ang buhay sa bisyo

my late grandfather often mentioned that there will come a time when busking will be treated as normal as a regular paying job/livelihood in the Philippines.
Busking gave me the opportunity to live my dreams to sing my heart out to the crowd. I started busking mid this year and never get tired of doing it over and over.

Busking in province nowadays also bloom. It is a good move to boosts our inner confidence to play and perform with random audiences specially on public areas. Here in Pangasinan, we already have more than 20 buskers and me and my friend was also planning to join the community of buskers this coming Christmas week. More powers to every musicians out there!!

im a busker from batangas pero pangarap kong makapagbusk sa pangasinan someday. from malasique kase lolo ko even though i didn’t actually grew up there, i just feel like ive got to do it. congrats pala sa growing community ng busking sa inyo 🙏🏼✨

Hi, Pax! Proud ako na ongoing pa rin pala yung BGC Impromptu hanggang ngayon kasi isa kami sa mga first artist/band (Sorelai yung name) yung banda na tumugtog nung nagsisimula pa lang yung project na yan sa BGC. Akala ko, ini-scrap na yung project kasi may time na naging kaunti yung performers lalo diyan sa BGC High Street.
Under Ms. Monica Llamas pa that time ang management, kung tama ako, that was in 2012. Nakasabay pa namin si Prince, na that time, starting busker pa lang. Na-familiarize naman ako kay Eloisa kasi sinusuportahan siya ng local CD/Vinyl shop sa Guadalupe, Makati na binilhan ko ng several albums (shout out, TDcD Avenue!)

Merong kayang lugar sa busking para sa jazz player na instrumentals lang kaya haha. Parang "required" lagi ang vocals. Vocals is what make people stop for artists.

I have already watched po yung mga videos mo..dati po akong gitarista pero unti unting nawala ko sa oras ang pag giging aktibo bilang gitarista dahil may pamilya na at may mga anak na din d na ma focus hanggang sa nawala..but thankful po ako na nag recommend po sa youtube ko ang channel mo nabalik muli ang inspirasyon ko kung ano ako dati..kung ok lang sayo po pwede kaba gumawa ng vid tutorial po kung paano mag set ng strings from zero to finish tungkol po sa floyd rose bridge gitar kc po may nahiram po kc ako pero di ako marunong mag set. Again po salamat sa inspirasyon!
