Awesome video! Missed opportunity to shed some light on Joe Perry's 59 Les Paul that he sold for drug money. Which a few years later appeared on the November Rain video with Slash. And then many more years later Slash gifted the guitar back to Joe on his birthday. But your video is still a fun insight to the 59!
As an LP fan, everything is on point! At the end of the day, it's all about preference. At ang matagal nang kasabihan na wala sa pana yan, nasa indyan yan! Good stuff!
Nice video bro.. thanks for contacting me and putting my name in the video much appreciated.. watching the whole video showed how much research and effort you put into it..
Pero kung may budget naman I won't resist to have a les paul.
Maganda talaga les paul kung talagang swak sa hanap mo na tunog ng tenga mo at feels, pero not all pwde tulad ko nung nagamit ko ang les paul na studio need more sya i mix ng maayos Para Mag bawas ng mids at bass kailangan mo mag engage ng time sa effects at sa amp mo kailangan lumabas ang tone kasi pag hindi muddy or Ngongo sya, pero more on rock n roll or Blues ka bagay sayo ito,
Napunta dito dahil sa Grind Quest haha salamat po sir Pax nagkaroon ako ng knowledge sa mga gitara esp sa LP guitars, may ilan din kasi akong kakilala na gumagamit nito and di ko alam bakit haha ADVANCE HAPPY NEW YEAR PO! 🎉❤
Solid 'tong Les Paul.
first of all, i love what you're doing!!! This information is not really explained to a lot of filipinos. Although i have some thoughts about the information shared in the video. 1) handwound pickups are common. Because its not as hard to make as people think it is. The process is not completely done manually. Hand wounding still uses a machine to wind the copper wire into the pickup bobbins. Many people in this platform wound their own pickups. Take into example CSguitars. He made several hand wound pickups for his guitars. 2) You should have pointed out the differences in construction between a typical fender vs gibson guitar. Those specs make a lot more sense with regards to the tone. This can explain the "creaminess" of a typical lespaul tone. 3) you should have put a PAF style pickup on the j-craft. The dirty tones are very similar due to the natural compression of distortion. But I hear the difference between them on the clean sounds. The warmer sounding uses an affordable ceramic pickup.
Hi!!! Thank you so much for the info! I actually agree with everything you said esp with the handwound pups. Surely I will make more videos for these topics in depth. For now I want the Pinoy viewers to have grasp of the basic concepts explained in tagalog. Will definitely go as deep as this in the future. Thanks a lot! Big help!

tried some les paul type guitars, really good sounding guitar, pure ang clean tone at panalo lalo na pag classic rock n roll sounds, pero problem lang talaga ung bigat (sure na sasakit likod mo pag matagal ka nakatayo) at ung tuning stability haha nice video sir!
Stick pa rin ako sa PRS and PAF pickups are still made by iron gear pick ups (blues engine). Sabi ng music teacher ko is lagi nasa dulo ang tunog meaning yung speaker and amp ang pinaka importanter kahit mura ang gitara kung maganda naman ang amp at speaker magiging maganda parin kalalabasan ng tunog.
