Friends....I mean, I love EACH AND EVERY HLP video ever, but Shop My Stash is one of my favorites and also very inspiring! I'm mid No-Buy July and doing Makeup PlayTime with my stash every single night. Since I'm doing a No-Buy out of necessity (financial troubles), my goal is to completely use up ALL my color cosmetics and foundations/highlighters before I buy new ones. Sometimes, I just put on Hannah on my iPad in the bathroom so she can keep me company. Please tell me I'm not the only one? Love to you all! XXOO
I've been hoping for a traditional style shop-my-stash from THE HPL ever since I binged your no-buy year! I love seeing people's thought process as its happening when going through their collections.
Agreed! I especially love the camera angles she uses now, and the clickity clack of the palettes...also, Hannah's voice is SO ASMR in its own right, too!
I love a shop my stash video! Been successfully on a no buy for 2022 and this is so inspirational - thank you Hannah for creating such good quality content!
I don’t know why, but when you say “pieces” of makeup it makes me think of all the makeup as something special, like each piece is a little gem. And then it occurred to me that I think you think the same way 💕
Well when you think of it.. every colour in every palette has had a LOT of RnD time behind it to get it the perfect colour, and consistency, and name and etc in a lab before it hits the public. Each one of those colours has probably had a lot of love, care, and thought put into it.. so we should really think of each piece as a gem or a work of art. :)
Just wanted to share, that when I watch your videos: no buy, shop my stash, dupe the vibes, etc... I never feel wanting, lack, without. I always feel excited about what I have and inspired to approach MY collections, in new ways. Thank you for sharing your heart and mind with us!
These vids are really important. I love shopping my stash and rediscovering my products, changing things out and decluttering what doesn’t groove me anymore. Your journey on your no buy, and thought process is something that’s needs to be highlighted in an over consumer cutter. Thank you
I'm someone who doesn't have a stash. I have two very small palettes, 1 foundation, 1 concealer, 3 lipsticks, chapstick, and 3 different eyeliners I think that's about it. Asking you who is someone who has a stash, do you ever get worried about the longevity of all your products? I think most have only a shelf-life of a year. Is there a reason that people with stashes have so many options? Do you get bored with your previous picks? Or did the product(s) you picked previously not actually live up to your standards or something? I can understand having different foundations for summer+winter, but sometimes I see people's collections and see SO many different ones of a similar product. No judgement, just really curious as to the reasoning!
Super treat to get to see a "filmer's" personal space, and more full stash, like that; I'm often curious! So thanks for allowing us in. Also quite captivating content (esp as it feels a bit like a continuation of the Angry Eyes theme that got me so hooked) -- and yay for CP Ritz! I was missing the usual swatches you do when talking through and showing various products though (always appreciate that part). Don't own any of the remaining picks (aside from having started to order the custom palette colors), but love the selection and made me curious about the continuation. Personally, I only paint my nails and use lip products on a daily basis. A full face of makeup (only blush and a tiny bit of concealer in the corner of my eyes for the actual face though) is maybe 1x/week or biweekly, but then I go pretty much all in and have serious fun. Shopping my stash therefore, to me, is more about keeping stuff out that I make a point of using up as I don't really LOVE it, but don't want to waste, and/or testing things out, comparing possible dupes, or the like. There are several items of your picks that caught my interest however, hoping you'll showcase those! (And I'm SO getting an Armani Neo cream pot blush for BF, unless it's OOS that is -- inspired by your video including it.)
I would love to see more of these kind of videos from you! I’ve been loving Lauren Mae Beauty’s shop my stash videos. Shop my stash videos always make me feel so inspired, i love it
I have one of those Trixie Cosmetics lip glosses, in Hater, and it‘s so nice buffed into my lips rather than applied thickly. Gives a bright but low-key look. Kackie did that trick and I loved it. It‘s in my steady rotation of lippies, I keep going back to it.
Been a fan of Trixie for years and initially bought two of her glosses. One (Snowcone) was delightful but too pigmented for me, and one (High Ponytail) is unspeakably chunky and unusable. It's so pigmented, that the glitter inside get swallowed up and gloopy like glitter in real paint. So I was severely disappointed, and wished her glosses were better---- ENTER HLP. Your recommendation of the taupe gloss from Trixie in a video last year... changed it all. Trixie has nailed the formula, and I've nearly finished the whole gloss already. It's to the point where I don't want to run out of it, and am considering a back up. Love you HLP. No one else on here is like you, and you bring such a joy to my life, and I can tell, many many others.
Shop my Stash videos are so enjoyable because it’s so fun to see “behind the scenes” at all the makeup someone own. It’s like peaking behind the theater curtains and getting a glimpse backstage at all the scenery, props, costumes, etc.
Hey. I just wanted to let you know that at first i toyed with your channel. Actually for a few months. Its not my usual old video i would watch about buying the newest and greatest, hurry go buy it! I admit I still get that rush to buy, like the new elf glow launch, but you have helped me stop, reflect, and enjoy what I already have or wait and realize that I really dont need or want anymore. You have inspired me to not wash my hair and let my natural shag do its thing instead of brutally straightening it everyday. And ive gotten the most comments on my hair lately! I always wished I was coined as one or the other, but my taste, example blouses, can be minimalist or over the edge zebra. And thats okay lol! I love smudgy makeup and thats ok too!! Im happy smidge has a new lovely home and sadie is feeling better! Thanks for being you. On RUclips and life you are inspirational on another level for me!🖤
Hannah: first of all, ilysm. I have never left a RUclips comment before. I watch all your videos when they release and when I can't sleep I rewatch yr old videos. I'm kinda going thru it right now so I usually can't sleep. so I have a request: can u please update yr playlists?? regardless, you bring me a lot of joy and calm. xoxo.
This inspired me to ship my blush stash too... And there is no better time than now to bust out Nars Exhibit A for that ultimate epic hot cheeks summer girl look! So excited!
I have the same problem, lack of space for where I do my makeup. I don't even have a vanity table. I put my everyday makeup all in a stand-up makeup bag and "put it away" with the rest of my stuff after my routine. But I use it as a display piece on the bookshelf in the middle of my living room. So I see it every day (to remind me of using it) but easily accessible at the same time.
It's been a while since I have been able to watch you. This is the Hannah I know and love. You have some beautiful makeup and it is fun watching you enjoy what you have and use it. Shopping your stash is such a staple that is fun to watch and I love it. You have such a curated collection that is purposeful to you. I look forward to seeing what new looks you will get with those things you chose. That wild blush is so colorful, I want to see the looks you can use it with.
I shopped my stash along with you and i’m very excited! i haven’t been wearing makeup at all in the past year or so, i’ve only put it on a handful of times and i really want to get back into it because i have so much beautiful makeup that deserves to be used. your channel has helped me a lot with appreciate what you own. in fact you’re the only beauty youtuber i still watch because you make me want to wear makeup where i feel everyone else made me want to buy makeup, which i really don’t want to do especially because i already have such a wonderful collection. so thank you for all of your videos❤️
Please please bring this back as a series! It is my all time favorite on your channel and I've watched the shop my stashes during your no buy all 4-5 times. I would love to see an updated one, in a format that fits you best now
I'm currently saving up to do a really big phytosurgence haul in celebration of panning my elf workout ready cheek quad. I'm starting to scrape the corners! August will be a most momentous month 🤠💐💕🌈
I built my bog spirit palette yesterday and I could not stop at one, I made three in three different colorstories. I am now ready to sink into the bog...I recently acquired one of the phytosurgence eye shadows and they are my new favorite for a quick, easy one and done eye look. Also seeing the Victoria Beckham packaging up close, it looks like a high end L'oreal Infallible. :D That is making me feel better about not owning one for now. I have so many infallibles that I barely use...
I like watching you shop your stash, in part because it's so much bigger than mine. I have four eyeshadows, but I only use two. I have one blush, one mascara, three pencils (only using one), and one of everything else. I don't have any gels or balms. I didn't know those existed until finding your channel.
I love how you approached this. I have been rotating my palettes once a week, that has helped me use them individually on the regular. I also do that with my lip and eyeliners, lipsticks, glosses, etc. When next week roles around I see new friends. I do have a lot of single eye shadows, I tend to depot most all of them. I need to have play time and build palettes using "duping the vibes" concept.
These are literally my favorite types of videos and I LOVE getting to see your version and hear your reasoning for picking or not picking certain things for this round. It was so soothing but exciting all at once!
The first day of summer there was a project pan going around where you picked products to use until labor day. I believe it was called “Labor of Love” or “Labor of Love it”. I watched a few videos of it and grabbed a few focus items in my own stash. -Natasha Denona Gold Palette -Juvians Place Nubian 3 (Coral) Palette -Maybelline Lipstick in Touchable Taupe -Clinique Cheek Pop in Fig Pop My “goal” is to make them look loved by Labor Day. Then I think I’m going to repeat the project for Labor Day-Halloween/Thanksgiving. Shopping my stash is my favorite. Especially since I decluttered half of my collection in May. Now I know if I reach for almost anything I’m going to love it.
No buy July has been going pretty well this month. I ended up needing some replacements (why do they all seem to run out at once?) and I told myself I could spend the giftcard i got for my birthday and could spend a reasonable amount if there was leftover, I think I spent like $8. The only thing that has been really hard is the shopping/ searching behaviors. Thinking maybe I’ll go into August and really try to curb that online browsing. We’ve just found a new apartment we might move into in Nov and now the urge to search is at an all time high. I did decide to delete instragram several months ago, and boy that is a big change
Love shopping my stash, please make it a series 😻 If you want a less cluttered look on your vanity maybe you could consider putting all the items onto a little tray or in a box
I REALLY love shop my stash videos, using the great stuff instead of how a lot of people do it where we see a haul, see a look and review and then it’s in a declutter video some time later. I buy makeup to use and enjoy it.
Gone greige lipstick is underrated. Also, the lipliner is a staple for me. Cool tones pull slightly warm on me because my undertone is slightly yellow. Fun to see your choices.
When you said Bermuda my brain said, no wait, that’s old gum 😂 it took me a minute to realize lol. Apparently my brain just agrees with you and that’s what it’s called now.
Hi! I have a question not exactly related with this video but about single shadows. What do you do with all the envelopes that come with single shadows?!?!?! I have so many and I don't know if there's a way to reuse them or if I just simply toss them
This was such a fun one! Also, I spy some fragrance samples on your vanity. I would love to see a video on your long standing fragrance favs and your takes on anything new that you've recently tried!
I decided that I'm going to take a picture of the things I've bought this year vs what I've actually used this year to give myself an idea of what habits have been. I already know it's gonna be not good. Lol Weird question: Did your bangs get shorter? I notice things like 1000 years late. They've probably always been this length 🤦🏿♀️🤦🏿♀️🤦🏿♀️
I’m trying to low buy rather than no buy this year. Relatively speaking I’m doing ok. I could do better. I decided to shop my Chanel stash this week which ended up reminding me that 1) Chanel eyeshadows are not it; 2) Chanel Water tint is IT, no other foundation satisfies me; 3) Chanel needs to bring back its tiny face palette with 3 creams which has my favorite cream concealer; 4) Chanel’s older highlighters are IT (new ones, not so much); and Chanel cheek and eyeliner products are nice, but not IT status. I also have decided to stop buying new palette releases except the new Mothership. 😅😅😅
I just came across an eyeshadow pallet that I didn't know about, wanted to share with u. Shades are such a personal thing but I think these might be up your alley. Kat / kitschsnitch did a vid with swatches u can see for a better idea of the true colors... its Glaminatrix Cosmetics Nearly Natural.
Shop my stash series!! I’d die for that! Also, I’d love a revival of “5 days of x”
I just watched five days of red lipstick and was thinking the same thing!
Me too!

Love a good shop my stash, I did one for myself this past weekend. It is so reinvigorating to fall back in love with favorites.
Yeah!! I just did this with my closet today - the most ruthless purge I’ve ever done on clothes and shoes.

New colours from LE's eye shadows are coming in a couple weeks Hannah. Maybe a better colour will appear for you.❤
This is such an amazing concept and I love seeing it develop through your narrative. I’m following this series with great interest!
I'm on a no-buy August! These videos are amazing and so helpful!
Love!! Can’t wait to see the look you create with this. I rly hope it involves the blue eyeliner
Fun idea. I’ll do a good rummage in my stash for next week’s looks.
Love love love these videos. Inspiring THAKS!!! ♥️♥️♥️
I always do shop my stashes love that you are also on a July no buy and that you are doing shop my stash

Just started the video and have to stop and say that I am absolutely loving the monochromatic red fit!
This is an excellent idea. I am going to try it. Especially at least seasonally. Thank you!🌺🌻🌹
love this video from you please keep doing shop my stash
I shopped my stash while I was watching this lol
Looking forward to seeing you use these!
I would have loved to see a makeup look after you shoped ! Maybe for another video ?
This was so fun !!! Hoping to see one of these every month if you can fit it in
Keep the shop my stash videos coming please!
Really love this idea!
I'm stopping my sash!
That almost fluorescent orange blush from 3ce 👀🧡❤🧡❤
When you said Bermuda my brain said, no wait, that’s old gum 😂 it took me a minute to realize lol. Apparently my brain just agrees with you and that’s what it’s called now.
I'm always skeptical of most Dior products working well enough to justify their prices but that quad looks nice
We like these videos 😊
Loved this video!
I love shop my stash videos
I want the dark mattes so baddd
Hi! I have a question not exactly related with this video but about single shadows. What do you do with all the envelopes that come with single shadows?!?!?! I have so many and I don't know if there's a way to reuse them or if I just simply toss them
What brand is that black makeup bag/box thing on your vanity? I’ve been looking for a good one for so long!
Hannah Louise is the only person who could make the words gungy, greasy and smeary sound compelling...
This video reminded me how taken I was with your vanity table recently, so I just checked the target link for it...and it's out of stock😢
That might be a useful tactic for me too 🤔 good idea!
I think she cuts her own bangs whenever they're annoyingly long. So you're not late in noticing
What I would be interested in seeing at some point is going through “the give away box” even if it is a lot of mismatched shades….
Love this!
This is how I use my stuff
I’m doing no buy July and have found these sorts of videos so helpful and inspiring! Really appreciate you Hannah
