In my experience, when Popeye's is good, they hit it out of the park. The problem is the are wildly inconsistent, even within the same restaurant. Chick-Fil-A is one of the most consistent chicken places in the US and you know what quality you are going to get when you go to one.
THIS! This was my exact reasoning when explaining to a friend. I’ve never heard someone say “Man don’t go to that chick fil a, got to the one across town, that’s the good one”. You always get the best at chick fil a. Can’t say the same for Popeyes tho. But you are right. When Popeyes is good, they are dang good.
Right, and Raising Caines is the other chicken joint with really consistent good food. I live in Baton Rouge, and I am astounded how big Raising Caines has gotten. We have a 24hr one by LSU college stays busy.

Chik-Fil-A has mastered food and customer service. Always a long line, but never more than a few minute wait. There are some funny videos about their employees being so kind on you tube. Always very polite employees, went there one day when I was pretty broke and asked for the cheapest thing on the menu ( in Indiana) and the staff could tell I wasn't doing so well and gave me a free meal. God Bless them. There are still good people out there.
Have they remodeled the Chick-Fil-A where you are in Indiana?? They have been remodeling the ones so far in certain parts of Ohio due to excessive drive-thru times to add more drive thru lanes with the amount of traffic going there. - - particularly the one close by me. I've only been to it about 4 times in its 5 years since its opening as its in a restaurant strip and has been ridiculously busy more than any eating joint since it got there. They had shut it down for 6 months to remodel and re-opened back in the spring and they just re-opened another one in another location just last month for the same reason. Along with shutting one down in Columbus back in August to re-open some time in February. I have not been there since it re-opened, but its wild the amount of people that goes to Chick-Fil-A.
Arnold Palmer was trademarked I believe by the golfer and sold the rights to Arizona Tea prior to death so I think that is why they use Sunjoy. Also if I’m not mistaken the Sunjoy uses sweet tea and an Arnold Palmer uses unsweetened

Maybe I am the weird one, but I always thought they didn't put any sauce on their sandwiches because you were supposed to add the sauce you wanted from the packets. Mix and match to meet any mood.
Well, it is a juicy and flavorful piece of chicken on a buttered bun, so it really doesn't *need* a sauce. But I do like Chick-fil-A sauce on mine. But I also usually upgrade to the multi-grain bun because it holds up to sauce (and extra pickles) better.

No question, the chicken fil a here in Lexington SC is consistently packed with cars, but they get the cars through the drive thru like a well oiled machine. It does help when you have a limited menu.
During Covid lockdown when they started vaccinations, one center enlisted the help of a Chic fil A manager to help with the line. Brought the wait down from 2 hrs to 15 min.
They're really cut from a different cloth than McDonald's or some place like that. I've heard their interview process is pretty tough, compared to other fast food places. You have to have references that can vouch that you're basically a good person.
Chick-fil-A offers a variety of different sauces so that you can choose which one you would like to put on your chicken sandwich. The sandwiches are not supposed to be eaten without a sauce unless that is how you personally like it. The same thing goes for your fries: Ketchup, ranch, honey mustard, etc., or nothing at all if you prefer your fries plain. The one item I was hoping that you have ordered was Chick-fil-A's milkshakes. They are really delicious! Especially their fresh peach milkshake offered during summertime. Yum!! Perhaps on your next visit to the USA.
One thing about Chick-Fil-A, you can be the 20th car in line at the drive thru and still get your order within 10 minutes or so, no matter how large an order. However, you can be the 3rd car in line at McDonald's and you'll be lucky to get out of there in a half hour.
oh yeah, the Chick-Fil-A near my house will have people come out with iPads to take orders in the line but..BUT.. the Mickey D’s near me is always on point, two drive-thru lanes, three pickup windows, open 24 Hours, i’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes even if there’s 20 cars in line
I agree with the general statement of the drive thru for Chick-Fil-A, but I have to say, the McDonalds by my house is the fastest drive thru (consistently) I’ve ever experienced. It’s so fast, that on most occasions, they’re literally holding your bag of food out the window as you pull up. But it’s definitely the outlier haha

I love the nuggets and honey mustard sauce. Youngest loves the strips with ranch and Husband goes for the deluxe sandwich.
Chickfila is good no matter where you go, Popeyes is about 50/50 on if you’re going to get good service or not and cold food or missing food. A good Popeyes sammich beats chickfila any day but chickfila service is next level.
I once went to a Popeyes around 2 hours before they closed and they said they weren't going to cook any more chicken that night, and had already shut everything down... 🤣
If you want decent chicken served to you in a timely manner by a friendly employee in a clean store, you go to CFA. If you want excellent chicken served to you whenever they get around to it flung across the counter at you by a surly employee that might hop the counter after you if you look at her wrong in a rundown or neglected restaurant, you go to Popeye's.
@@wolfdesikan1766 The thing for me is that I'm not a wait around for 1-2 hours for old food (you know when fried food has sat) kind of guy. Receiving looks that are less than friendly don't help things along when all you want is to eat after a long day. So yeah, I see your point lol
One of the things no one tells you about Chick-fil-A, the sandwiches are what everyone talks about, but the chicken noodle soup is a hidden taste of perfection.
What I love about chick fil a is that its consistent no matter the location, for the most part. I've only had one really bad meal out of a lifetime of eating there!
It's HARD to find a decent Popeyes. I once got a box of chicken tenders. Most of them were batter with no or very little chicken in them. Unfortunately was on my way to work and had no time to go back. 12 hour shift with almost no food...that's Popeyes. Would NEVER happen at Chick fil a
@SmilingShadow-jl5tr wow! That makes me even happier to eat it, I too had chronic gastritis for a few years and couldn't eat anything fried. Which was sad lol. But chick fil a always had grilled and salad options that I thought were great for fast food!
Agreed. I've never had a Chik Fil A sandwich or nugget that was any different from another. Popeye's quality is hit or miss, you need to know which places are good and which places suck.
Chic-Fil-A is the best due to their consistency of always being good. Other places can’t compete with their ability to always put out a good product. ❤
This just happened to me night before last. Didn't know they had those biscuit desserts, and I ordered my food and added the dessert last, and they said that they were out of them. Guess they saved me a million calories, but it is so true about Popeyes.
Our Popeye drive-thru menu board doesn't have a working light in it. Been out for over a year. If it wasn't for a nearby streetlight you wouldn't be able to see it at night. The last time my husband went he went inside. Half the menu board inside was not working. It is an old building in need of some serious maintenance and deep cleaning.
CHick-fil-A is typically the only fast food place where you will see a line in the drive thru from the time they open until they close... I can not tell you the last time I went to one and drove right up to a speaker to order....
If your around Chik Fil A in the Morning you have to get the MINI's (small chik fil a nugget with a honey butter yeast roll, they are small but really tasty.
I appreciate the consistency of CFA - Popeyes is wildly inconsistent based on location and staff, and CFA is generally the same at every location. My favorite chicken joint is Bojangles which is basically only in the southeastern US, but it has the same problem as Popeyes, wildly inconsistent based on location and staff. The food is just SO GOOD when it's right!
O had Bojangles in Atlanta or Savanah, I can't remember which. That was some good chicken. The spicy actually had some good kick to it. Wish we had them in KC.
Chick-fil-A will always win hands down because, as someone else mentioned, they are consistent. Also, they have the BEST customer service and are the most efficient at what they do. If you had experienced the drive-through at all these places, you would have definitely noticed a difference.
You gotta try the frozen lemonade there, it is my fave thing about Chik-fil-a. I dont even usually go to fast food places except for unique drinks, but their chicken and fries are amazing!
ChickFila closing on Sundays is genius. It of course gives all their employees a built in day off each week on the schedule. But you never want Chickfila more than on a Sunday when they're closed.
Little wonder the food is so consistently good and Chick-fil-a tends to have better employee retention than other chains; really helps when your employees aren't being relentlessly grounded down! Food retail can be a very miserable experience to work as it is!
Glad you folks enjoyed your first time trying Chik-Fil-A. Their food has always been incredibly tasty. I personally prefer the chicken strips over the chicken nuggets, but both are highly delicious.
Word. The nuggets are nowhere as good as the strips! The ratio of breading to chicken just doesn’t taste right. lol clearly I’ve spent time considering this
I order chick fil a for lunch and came across this video which was so cool I felt like I was eating with you guys 😂😂 glad you’re loving America 🇺🇸 we love you
So the “Chic-Fil-A” sauce was developed by a franchisee in Fredericksburg, VA. He mixed a variety of their sauces to create it. Before the corporate office decided to offer it, we used to buy it by the pint jar to use at home. Chic-Fil-A is very customer service oriented. Chic-Fil-A fans are called “Chic-Fil-A Fanatics”.
“Bash it, smash it.” You guys are so cute! And the NZ kids trying Walmart snacks video was totally adorable! Pure childhood joy. And using their toes as part of their rating; couldn’t be better!
Yeah i hate that ehy corrected themselves. Like yeah we call them sandwiches in America but they shouldn’t have to feel wrong because what they call it is just as valid
@@casswashwash1070 Think of it as clarifying what they mean. They get a lot of views from America, and a lot of Americans, especially ones who haven't been with their channel for long, would not be _aware_ of that use of the word "burger" and would start wondering things like "Wait, they also got burgers? I didn't see that..." For those viewers, the on-screen clarification, that they are in fact talking about the chicken sandwiches, can be helpful.
The simple explanation is that a burger is meat and fat ground/minced formed into a patty and cooked. No bread is required for it to be a burger, (but obviously assumed.) if you take the meat out of a chicken sandwich it’s a chicken breast. If you take the meat out of a burger sandwich, it’s still a burger.
@@imbateman Etymologically, "burger" is short for "hamburger", which is in turn a shortening of "hamburger sandwich" meaning, a sandwich made with hamburger as the principle ingredient, other than the bread. (There is a persistent folk etymology that hamburgers are called that because a traveler brought them back from Hamburg, but that's skipping steps. Ground beef is called "hamburger" for reasons involving Hamburg, but the sandwich came along later, elsewhere.) So _originally_ other types of sandwiches were not burgers. The meaning has broadened over time at different rates in different geographical areas. In the Midwest, for example, -burger as a suffix is used somewhat more broadly ("sausageburger", "steakburger", "buffalo burger", "turkeyburger", or even "soyburger"), but "burger" on its own still consistently means that the main ingredient is some kind of ground beef. It *can* be a higher grade than hamburger as such (e.g., if it's made with ground chuck, we still call it a burger), but if it's made with something else entirely, we always specify that, e.g., if the main ingredient is turkey, we call it a "turkeyburger" not simply a "burger". If you invite your friends over for "burgers" and then serve soyburgers, your list of friends is going to get shorter. But the expansion in meaning has gone differently in other geographical areas.
Most countries call anything on a bun, a "burger". Esp in Asia. It was confusing to me when I first encountered it. In America the term burger is short for hamburger and only used when referring to a sandwich with beef patties. Even a meatloaf sandwich or a steak sandwich is not a burger.
Chick fila and In-n-Out burger are Christian run restaurants. This means great service and great food. Most locations have the best people available to run them. This is why they both have long lines at all times.
You guys are so funny. Love you food reviews. I prefer Chick-fil-A over all of them. I only like the original sauce. It's all about your preference. But there is ALWAYS a line there no matter what time of day you go. With the holidays coming up, everything is crowded now.
My grandson recently got married and at the end of the night he had Chick-fil-A delivered for an after party snack! I think everyone enjoyed that as much, if not more, than the dinner!😅 He thought after a night of dancing and drinking everyone would need a nibble.
This was fun! You mentioned the sandwiches were dry, but they are meant to be filled by you with whatever sauce you want =) I can't agree that they are typically dry. Maybe you got an odd one? Even without sauce, I love eating them!
Have all three restaurants in my town but always return for CFA's Spicy Chicken Sandwich with a slice of Pepper Jack cheese on it. Their customer service is tops as well. Glad you were able to check them out! 🙂
For me it’s hands down Chic Fil A, it doesn’t matter where or what time of day those restaurants are clean especially the bathroom. And the service is always excellent, the food too.
I always get the Spicy Chicken Deluxe with pepperjack cheese combo from there. I do understand the whole dry part. which is why i put ketchup on it. i get milkshakes usually, but their Coke for some reason is better than most other fast food places
Plus contributing to organizations actively fighting to take rights away from lgbtq Americans. And if you honestly think their chicken is a “delicacy”, one could effectively argue that you don’t eat out often.
@@daledonaldson3672 And lgbtq Americans are trying to take women's rights away, thinking it's okay for biological males to go into women's locker rooms and compete in women's sports.
A little fun fact/spoiler alert: The only reason why Chick-fil-A has delicious food is because they make everything with peanut oil. Most fast food places in America use either vegetable oil or canola oil, but Chick-fil-A uses peanut oil. There's something in the peanut oil that just makes the food taste better.
My favorite from Chick-Fil-A are the nuggets. Always get the Polynesian sauce with the Chick-Fil-A sauce a close 2nd. Waffle fries are nasty once they get cold so I usually eat them on the drive home, lol. MUST have the lemonade which they now sell in individual bottles. You can buy their tea and lemonade in gallon jugs as well. They're wraps are very good, too. For breakfast, the chicken minis all the way. Chicken nuggets in a small yeast roll with honey butter?? BRING IT!

I put the Chick Fil A sauce on the regular sandwich and Garden Herb Ranch on my spicy sandwich. And their Avacado Lime Dressing on my salads. You guys have only tried chicken places so far. I hope you tried Whataburger too!
The Southwest salad with salsa dressing is the best. After trying that salad during one of my visits, it’s the only thing I order from there (for lunch or dinner). The egg white breakfast sandwich ranks at the top!
I love how you guys dip the waffle fries in all the various sauces. Generally, we just go straight for the ketchup and dip the nuggets in the sauces! but i'm inspired!
It’s interesting to see your opinions here. Sandwiches are new to Popeyes. Popeyes is known for fried chicken, biscuits, and sides. Chick-fil-A was founded on sandwiches and waffle fries. For me they are totally different cravings. I’m 100 percent Chick-fil-A for a sandwich and fries, (fast food style meal,) and 100 percent Popeyes for more of a full meal to eat at a table with your family. The “crown and jewel” of a chicken place is NOT the sandwich in the USA.
My fav is the spicy chicken, take off the bun, drop the chicken into the pouch, empty 1 buffalo and 1 ranch packet in, seal and shake it up, open and reapply the bun...homerun! Glad you are enjoying it all!

Chickfila is good no matter where you go, Popeyes is about 50/50 on if you’re going to get good service or not and cold food or missing food. A good Popeyes sammich beats chickfila any day but chickfila service is next level.
I guess I've had bad Popeyes 4/4 times...I'm also picky on sauces, so that doesn't help any.
@@NathanBowman96 Ain't mad you, sometimes I don't have time for that bullshit either.
One of the things no one tells you about Chick-fil-A, the sandwiches are what everyone talks about, but the chicken noodle soup is a hidden taste of perfection.
Love that ya'll keep it real with you're opinions, how you guy's had fun over here.
Would NEVER happen at Chick fil a
@jaa4742 agreed! I can't eat the Popeyes where I live, it's way too greasy and my stomach can't take it lol
I like the food vlogs, but I'm also hoping we get some sight seeing vlogs as well of you guys experiencing towns/city's etc for the first time. 🙏
Chick FIL A sauce is the best one imo, it's like mayo, honey mustard and barbecue sauce mixed together.
Denzie didn't speak until, I need more. Haha! Awesome
Chic-Fil-A is the best due to their consistency of always being good. Other places can’t compete with their ability to always put out a good product. ❤
Chick fil a is consistently so good. You really never know what you’re gonna get when you go to Popeyes and they are usually out of half their menu.
This just happened to me night before last. Didn't know they had those biscuit desserts, and I ordered my food and added the dessert last, and they said that they were out of them. Guess they saved me a million calories, but it is so true about Popeyes.
@@MrLilhauughh yep exactly. I quit going bc of that. Every time I would go they would be out of everything I wanted and the service is always awful.
Still worth it. Chick-fil-A is consistent but has zero crunch and not a lot of flavor. It's like Popeyes for white people.
That is so true 😂😂
Our Popeye drive-thru menu board doesn't have a working light in it. Been out for over a year. If it wasn't for a nearby streetlight you wouldn't be able to see it at night. The last time my husband went he went inside. Half the menu board inside was not working. It is an old building in need of some serious maintenance and deep cleaning.
Notice Denzel is quiet the whole time, scarfing down that food!
he's been quiet this trip. still engaged, but quiet.
CHick-fil-A is typically the only fast food place where you will see a line in the drive thru from the time they open until they close... I can not tell you the last time I went to one and drove right up to a speaker to order....
then u've never been to an In N Out.....
@@joemanco5864he said chic-fil-a not in-n-out
@@sirwadsontoast5928 good! More for the rest
@@Kevin-i6t5i Thomas said "the only fast food place" and Joe was saying that it also was true of In N out.
In NW Ohio, the Chick-Fil-A are all drive thru. No sit-down indoor dining at all.
I love watching your family. Glad you’re enjoying the food in America. 🇺🇸❤️🇳🇿
Mom, the spicy with chic-fil-a sauce has always been my go-to.
If your around Chik Fil A in the Morning you have to get the MINI's (small chik fil a nugget with a honey butter yeast roll, they are small but really tasty.
I just had those recently and they’re so good!
Popeyes is horribly inconsistent and horrible customer service
That was the most immediate and definitive reaction I've ever seen when Atlanta tried the mac and cheese😂😂
EXACTLY.....
It's not genius. The founders are Christians and don't open Sundays because of their beliefs.
@@brentj.peterson6070 IMO a bit of both.
If you go back to Chick-fil-A, you need to try their frozen lemonade. It's perfect for summertime.
Glad you folks enjoyed your first time trying Chik-Fil-A. Their food has always been incredibly tasty. I personally prefer the chicken strips over the chicken nuggets, but both are highly delicious.
Word. The nuggets are nowhere as good as the strips! The ratio of breading to chicken just doesn’t taste right. lol clearly I’ve spent time considering this
I order chick fil a for lunch and came across this video which was so cool I felt like I was eating with you guys
😂😂 glad you’re loving America 🇺🇸 we love you
9:39 I’ve never seen or heard Denzie like this! Very quiet and calm in this video. He must have really liked it!
The grilled nuggets are my personal favorite. But Chick-fil-a is really solid. :)
Chik-Fil-A is so good and the service is unbeatable. Their sauce is great on anything but especially on their chicken. Glad y'all are enjoying it.
Chic-Fil-A fans are called “Chic-Fil-A Fanatics”.
lol, you know fans is short for fanatics.
Your son is such a gentleman. His mom says she’s running low on fries and he quietly supplies her with a handful. 👏🏼👏🏼
Good stuff! Glad you all enjoyed the various Chick-fil-A goodies ☺️.
And now I want Chick-fil-A. 😂 I love their waffle fries.
The enthusiasm here is contagious!
This is so fun to watch! I would pick Chick fil a over Popeyes all day every day though.
Absolutely Chik Fil A is quality every time
This was great. I’m from the USA, and I’m living in Hamilton NZ for a couple of months. So, I can relate to this video from both sides.
“Bash it, smash it.” You guys are so cute! And the NZ kids trying Walmart snacks video was totally adorable! Pure childhood joy. And using their toes as part of their rating; couldn’t be better!
So cute how she keeps calling them "burgers," then Sam corrected it on postproduction (multiple times!) at the rating time. lol.
It's so funny when you guys call the chicken sandwich a "Burger"
You probably should've tried the grilled chicken sandwich and nuggets also. So good
I like to think that ordering the grilled deluxe balances out the two orders of waffle fries.
It's fun to see the whole family when their eyes light up and they are about to try something different....really different.
I think everyone enjoyed that as much, if not more, than the dinner!😅
He thought after a night of dancing and drinking everyone would need a nibble.
When they upload a chick fil a video on a Sunday
That had to have been on purpose but even if it wasn't its still hilarious
What a great family !
Tea and Lemonade together is called an Arnold Palmer. You can actually buy it from the store as its own drink lol
I am so happy I have stumbled upon y’alls channel. Thank you for making incredible content for everyone to enjoy.
Chick Fil A is always good. Their own sauce is excellent! Love you guys! Mark in Iowa USA.
We love chic fil a.. but the chicken places are different enough that you can choose depending on what you're craving that day.
This was fun! You mentioned the sandwiches were dry, but they are meant to be filled by you with whatever sauce you want =) I can't agree that they are typically dry. Maybe you got an odd one? Even without sauce, I love eating them!
I love the honest reactions from all! Still so odd after all the videos of the years seeing y’all experiencing America!
For me Chick-Fil-A never disappoints!
Have all three restaurants in my town but always return for CFA's Spicy Chicken Sandwich with a slice of Pepper Jack cheese on it. Their customer service is tops as well. Glad you were able to check them out! 🙂
Hello from Michigan! Although I try not to eat fast food a lot I love Chick-fil-A their grilled nuggets are my favorite along with their kale slaw!
For me it’s hands down Chic Fil A, it doesn’t matter where or what time of day those restaurants are clean especially the bathroom. And the service is always excellent, the food too.
This is the best, y’all are adorable!
I always get the Spicy Chicken Deluxe with pepperjack cheese combo from there. I do understand the whole dry part. which is why i put ketchup on it. i get milkshakes usually, but their Coke for some reason is better than most other fast food places
Oh Man! You guys are in for a treat!
chick fila is a delicacy here. The best chicken ever, so good us southerners call it "The Lord's Chicken" 😂😂
I'm wondering if that label has just as much to do with the Closed Sunday thing, and the very public religious beliefs of the owners.
literally yeah lol@@Wiley_Coyote

A little fun fact/spoiler alert:
The only reason why Chick-fil-A has delicious food is because they make everything with peanut oil. Most fast food places in America use either vegetable oil or canola oil, but Chick-fil-A uses peanut oil. There's something in the peanut oil that just makes the food taste better.
Fil-A sauce is literally just Barbecue-Honey Mustard with a little bit of lemon and mayo. Very easy to make at home too.
BRING IT!
i always got bbq sauce my whole life and I recently tried chick fil a sauce for the first time & got hooked 😂😂 no wonder ppl freaked out when there was a shortage
I put the Chick Fil A sauce on the regular sandwich and Garden Herb Ranch on my spicy sandwich. And their Avacado Lime Dressing on my salads. You guys have only tried chicken places so far. I hope you tried Whataburger too!
Next time you goto chic Fila, try their frosted lemonade, life changer
The fact that you guys didn’t get a ChicK-Fil-A milkshake is almost criminal.
OMG..... their spicy chicken biscuit sandwich's for breakfast is amazing, i'm sooooo glad they brought that back!
Chick-Fil-A is my guilty pleasure. I pretty much never eat fast food, but I make an exception for them.
Love that this was uploaded on a Sunday 😂 thats when chick fil a is closed for religious reasons
You guys are making me so hungry for Chic-fil-A !!!! There is even one right down my street.....but its Sunday and they are closed!!! 😥😢😭
My fav is the spicy chicken, take off the bun, drop the chicken into the pouch, empty 1 buffalo and 1 ranch packet in, seal and shake it up, open and reapply the bun...homerun! Glad you are enjoying it all!
