Hope you all had a great turkey day, I spent it replacing my water pump... Fun stuff!!
I used one off of eBay, and I believe the money savings was totally worth it! what do you all think?

China parts, land of the sometimes they work sometimes they don't. Not much of a savings if you count the the time taking it off and reinstalling it. If this was a production machine that was needed on a jobsite or if the impeller had messed up the block, you didn't save a dime.

Very valuable input. Not anything more than a farm unit, but still... Downtime is money. Even on a farm.
It's an actual John Deere unit, just rebuilt and sold by china.
But the beauty of this video is...
I do the guess work for you. Buy the ebay pump or don't, now you know the troubles vs the savings in one of these bad boys.

Saving a buck can be worth it. $75 for Chinese rebuilt John Deere original housing, or $550 plus tax for a JD local. She's holding up thus far with the savings 🙏
