Polyester Plate Lithography: drawing and preparing for printing

In this video we draw on a polyester plate and learn how to prepare the plate for printing by swapping out the litho crayon material for a stronger printing base made of shellac and enamel.

Where do you get the enamel from and is it available as a kind of powder?
Please also specify the mixing ratio

I purchase the oil based enamel paint from a home supply company or hardware store - no powder version available. You can play with the mix ratio (enamel to shellac): 1:1 is a good place to start.
