Honestly the whole sex appeal skill tree doesn't really fit with Jessica's character at all. Kinda like Jade from DQ11, they both only have the skill tree because they are the attractive characters in their respective games. If you take that into account then Jessica would probably be angry every time she uses a sex appeal skill since she wouldn't actually want to be using them at all.
On the same console that has DQ11 where Jade can wear a bunny suit and Serena can wear a dancer outfit? And the Xenoblade games where every single one of them has swimsuits and revealing outfits? And Mugen Souls Z, a game that was released censored for PS3 but was uncensored for the Switch release? AND THE HUNDREDS OF HENTAI GAMES THAT ARE UPLOADED WEEKLY TO THE ESHOP? Buddy we ain't living in the Wii U/3DS era anymore. If anything, Sony are the ones censoring everything as of late
S-E has their their own internal Ethics Department that reviews and censors all new games while they are still in development, so that changes can be made early enough to appear seamless. Yes, the actually call it the ethics department. This has nothing to do with Nintendo or even ESRB. This is S-E following and applying their own "modern" standards consistently across all releases, regardless of platform. And when your whole job is to "find things wrong" and "fix" them, you are going to find at least one thing "wrong" in every game you look over in order to justify your continued existence. @@Zeitgeist6
@@EdurdongRight. But OP said Square Enix, not Nintendo. He had in mind some of the more recent remasters such Final Fantasy 8 heavily censoring the Siren GF, for example. Though, DQ11 is also SE. So, you have still have a point. I wonder how SE can be so inconsistent. Maybe the feel FF series has a more "broad appeal" and they feel less inclined to censor DQ.
I'd probably describe the channel as an archive of my favorite character, but I'm glad you enjoy it nonetheless. And yeah you should go play 8. Make sure to play the 3ds version. Wouldn't want to miss out on any extra content, right?
Such a great game, literally just finished it earlier today for like the 5th time. Had to reload cause I accidentally married the princess instead of Jessica. Forgot you have to go talk to her mom first. Been hoping for years switch does a remaster of it. It’s one of those games you kinda feel bad after beating it cause you know it’s over, did all the post game stuff and everyone is level 99. Tempted to reply it again
@@JoeFpoc Yeah this my favorite game, and I hope they do a remaster or something at some point. They need to keep the 3ds additions, or the just the new endings at the very least.

In Dragon Quest 8 your characters have the command called "Psyche up". Selecting it causes the character to gain a level of tension for that turn. There are 4 levels of tension and each successive one will give a higher attack multiplier for the character's next attack. The 4th stage is called super high tension and gives the highest multiplier and changes the character's appearance. The hero for example gets super saiyan hair (in the ps2 version). Hope that answers your question.
It’s a turn based rpg. Puff-puff is a ability used by Jessica basically just to hypnotize the enemy for a round so he doesn’t attack. Thoughout most the dragon quest games you run into girls offering to give you puff-puff which of course you think your going to get some action but usually just leads to some comedic event like getting slimes smashed into your head or pushed off a cliff with a rope tied to your foot
Breaking News! I found out that Jessica's Puff Puff works on the recruitable witch named Hazel who you can find near the Swordsman's Labyrinth after beating rank F in the Monster Arena.
Angry puff puff is killing me.

with those skimpy outfits a LOT of people had large grins on their face.
That's a lot of puff-puff.
I would love Square Enix to port dragon quest 8 to switch but they would just censored it
They should start porting the 3D dragon quests onto actual home consoles already smh. Switch and 3DS holds these remakes back.
On Switch? No. Nintendo has multiple examples of 'ecchi' Japanese games on Switch that were uncensored. Whereas the versions on Playstation were.

This was such a great game on ps2. I had dragon warrior (original name) on my gbp. Terra’s adventure I think was the name.
Today it would be banned because some cry bany would feel offended….
The newer game doesn't even had "jiggle effect"compared to when you using Jessica to walk around in the map
So glad i have my ps2 version of this .
Yeeeeah... I assume any remake won't have this ability lol.
I'm lucky I found this on Amazon for $60. Consistently
I went look expecting over $150
@@turtlecheese8, the 3DS port does.
I just didn't bother using it, honestly. More worthwhile to just smash enemies to pieces.
The only time it's useful at all is for the Captain Crow fight.
all those lucky candy cats

She's doing puff puff.
Bicycle horns sound is funny

Toriyama's girls do nothing for me, sadly. They weren't destined for fanservice. Full Tension Jessica does help a bit though...💗

Oh no it's censored 😢
I don't know if censored is the right word since nothing was altered or omitted. But yeah, hearts and birds are all we get.
Puff puff works on the witches and sirens if you confuse them first
I wasn't sure if you were joking or not, but I decided to test this. From my testing it doesn't seem to work.
Really? I've done it several times, though admittedly, this was years ago. So maybe it wasn't confusion and was another status.@@DQ8Jessica-sn5lt
