I have read some 40K lore and I am confused. Why do so many people say that Abaddon is weak and a failure? Every time he turns up and starts a Black Crusade, it's a hard blow for the Empire - the 13th Black Crusade broke the Galaxy literlly in two. Sure he's not on the Combat level of a Demon Primarch, or tactical gifted as Guilliman, but he's still a incredible threat. Can somebody explain it to me a bit?
He had really long time to damage the Imperium and most of Chaos forces at the command + powers of chaos gods and although Black crusades were hard hits for the Imperium, Abaddon could probably do much more with so many forces and much faster, yet he wasn´t able to do it.
Brian Cahill yes, so why help him get one? Also he has Drach so I’m pretty sure that can hurt the C’Tan and really everything chaos related can, should be working against Chaos if they want to survive.
He only helped Abaddon because he knew the Imperium and Eldar would stop him by destroying the BFs Another way to describe the Deceiver's plan would ultimately be "asset-denial," in that he made sure the BFs were removed from the playing field as well as reducing the numbers of three opposing factions
... I don't actually know if that's the case. What I =do= know is that he crashed another one into Cadia to blow it up. I think there might be one more remaining, which is nowhere near as much of an issue for the C'tan as six would be

Abaddon just daydream and remember crone riddle?
Every man believes his youth was Arcadia, even Abbadon.
Oh shit. So this is how he decided to drop a giant space fortress on a planet, blowing it up, tearing open the universe, splitting the galaxy in half, literally making it illegal to LOOK UP at risk of madness. Gulp
Wait was abaddon talking with the deceiver?
@@Lazaruz95 oh ok thanks. I was curious cause I thought maybe a shard of the Deceiver took human form or something.
It is jokes from board game when his arms fall do to there weight and hi pretty bad on tabel. Thet it why hi cold armles and failure.
He had really long time to damage the Imperium and most of Chaos forces at the command + powers of chaos gods and although Black crusades were hard hits for the Imperium, Abaddon could probably do much more with so many forces and much faster, yet he wasn´t able to do it.
Because the Imperium of Man has the worst fanboys out of any scifi faction.
Can Huron blackheart beat abbadon in 1v1 fight
Say what you will about Abaddon as a character, he’s pretty fucking cool in this cinematic
His voice at 1:22 is so metal.
damn THAT'S INTENSE.
Here goes Failbaddon the Armless on yet another pointless Black Crusade-esque warpath, when will they just give up?
+Michael Inwood none of his crusades fails. he get his goals. what u talking about
+Andrew Anferov He gets his goals, which are manipulated by the Deceiver for an unknown purpose.
Fixed that for you.
FAH Holliday wat? what u readin bro?
Andrew Anferov Literally just look at the Witch's shadow in the above, canon, intro.
Abby is nothing but the pawn of Deceiver and Be'lakor.
FAH Holliday stop smokin weed bro and read background not 4chan lol
Failbaddon the (h)armless
Fucking SPACE WHALES!!!!
The planet killer!?
...We can still make fun of him, right? Cause he did kind of explode Cadia and all...
Kerorofan still couldn't take the planet
The fluff was poorly written in my opinion.
Could have been handled far better.
Losing Cadia is a major blow to the imperium.
Warmathter of Chaoth
Man what is the ost for this scene?
NEAT NEAT NEAT!
Why is the Deceiver helping Abaddon? Just to get back at the Necrons?
To make sure as many people as possible buy Skyrim again
But to be serious, because the Blackstone Fortresses could harm the C'tan
Brian Cahill yes, so why help him get one? Also he has Drach so I’m pretty sure that can hurt the C’Tan and really everything chaos related can, should be working against Chaos if they want to survive.
He only helped Abaddon because he knew the Imperium and Eldar would stop him by destroying the BFs
Another way to describe the Deceiver's plan would ultimately be "asset-denial," in that he made sure the BFs were removed from the playing field as well as reducing the numbers of three opposing factions
Brian Cahill but Abaddon ended up with one anyways didn’t he? Was that not during the Gothic Wars?
... I don't actually know if that's the case. What I =do= know is that he crashed another one into Cadia to blow it up. I think there might be one more remaining, which is nowhere near as much of an issue for the C'tan as six would be
That shadow...
What ARE these fortresses in the stars?
Stephen Byrne
The Imperium calls them ‘blackstone fortresses’.
They were created by the Eldar many millennia ago to destroy the Necrons and Ctan.
The imperium found them and built over them. Abaddon found the artifacts needed to control them.
@@infidelheretic923 And what are the Hand of Darkness and the Eye of Night? And why would Abaddon need them to command the citadels?
@@stephenbyrne2170
One of them is used to find them and the other is used to control them. They have some kind of powerful warp based weapon capable of destroying planets.
At one point in the Gothic war Abaddon used all three of them to destroy a star.
@@infidelheretic923 The Planet Killer.......
@@stephenbyrne2170
The “citadels”.
Which does seem a bit redundant if he already has a planet destroying ship admittedly.
Plus you don’t need to destroy the WHOLE planet. Just the surface and 40K has an entire arsenal of things that can do that, but whatever this is a war universe and we like things big and menacing.
1:15 me and my mom arguing...
abbadon the armless
Abaddon the Despoiler? More like Failbaddon the Disapointment.
