The only issue with that is that it lets saw dust into the top drawers. Trinity makes a model that has a top that can be raised and lowered. But I don't know whether it lowers all the way to the top of the drawer.
I disagree. I like a shallow a drawer that will hold my tools in an easily seem layer. Otherwise I am simply looking down on a pile of tools in a box/ Terrible acesss.
Thanks for the great review/comparison video. I am about to buy a Trinity toolbox/workbench for my kitchen and this convinced me that it is a good choice.
i luv my husky it’s roomy the power strip the usb things the locking cabinet it’s deep the casters ain’t a problem whatsoever i paid $600 a couple years ago at Home Depot but I’d like to add a smaller one to set next to it and the colors they offer are black and white so if anyone knows how i can get a grey one i’m all ears this has been a very good investment for all my tools and it’s pretty shiny and i’m content
How bout neither and, instead just buy 2 - $350 9 drawer Yukon's from Harbor Freight, put them next to each other for 96" and 18 drawers while saving $50 in the process.👍
I was looking at the husky carts for a while and glad I didn’t get it. They are not very modular and are very flimsy. The lower drawers are mostly useless as they are too deep for tool storage. I will probably get the US general box since they have a lot of bolt on options and better drawer layouts for a little more money. They aren’t as deep as the husky but it’s 2” less unlike the Costco box.
Yeah I definitely think those US general boxes always looked like a great option with plenty of customization options. Plus they’ve got some cool colors too.
Couple of things, Costco returns are way better, if something gors bad a year or 2 from new You shouldnt pay more for a cheap power strip, add it yourself. Casters count for more than you realize Husky IMO is not made as well as the Harbor Freight version.
The clamping stuff on the top in the trinity actually sways me towards it. Great video!
I think it’s a pretty unique feature, I like it a lot as well

Depth, depth, depth. Always go for box depth. You'd be surprised how much that helps with storage
Agreed

That Trinity box looks like something you'd see in a restaurant kitchen.
And I love it lol
They are selling like hotcakes for...kitchen remodels.

Glad to hear our video helped you choose
The 66” Costco box is something that would make my job a little easier. I would add a power strip through
I wound up at Harbor Freight, after checking out Lowes and Home Depot the choice and quality was better.😊

Super helpful video. Thanks Jake and Cameron.
Can you add the Kobalt to your comparison?
Costco is made from the 10th cheapest contractor in China. Where as Husky is made by the 50th cheapest contractor from China. There all cheaply made.😢

Not a bad idea actually
Yukon has much thinner steel and hangs on the shelves

I you don't mind assembly, the Sams club ultra beats them both at 475.
Can I ask what’s the name brand or model of the socket organizer you have in the husky box? It looks great
The red trays are from a craftsmen tool kit and the black rails are tekton
I’m a body man I have a trinity box had it one year it’s holding up well

Looks good
I guess for 750 dollars I’d buy 2 Yukons from harbor freight.
Does the trinity have soft close drawers?
Yes
That Trinity top is dumb.
