I have a Nigerian friend who is hard working, but in every country there are a group of people that create a bad picture. For example, I am an albanian 🇦🇱 and ‘albanian mafias’ have taken a bad image of us.

Thank you for talking about these types of scams. You'd be surprised how many of these I get on the regular. Messing with them, while being incredibly fun and funny, is also exhausting. So I just report and block them.

It's not funny as I just told some people on Instagram to watch this video. Those fake accounts are literally everywhere and I'm not kidding you when I say that alot of people fall for it initially. They may be spooked off if the scammer asks for bank details but there are still alot of young people falling for it
So, so creepy! And so criminal! And people do get their identity stolen ( such as from legitimate dating accounts) and used fraudulently this way.
