this sucks bad. Gta same game just different systems i should be able to play with my friends who can’t afford Ps5 ATM and still have all my migrated accessories should not be any different especially when it’s about to be over for the 5
Nothing will save if you download the PS4 version so i don’t recommend if you purchased stuff already on the PS5 version but if you haven’t then go ahead.
I migrated my ps4 char to ps5 and still have both chars in both games. Only difference is my ps5 accomplishments dont carry over/back to ps4. I Still have all my content on ps4 and use it to test if a purchase was worth the in game money
And does your ps5 account sometimes download data from your ps4 account? Or you can do whatever you want without getting your ps5 acc updated of what you did on the ps4 game? (I'm in the same case that you but idk if it automatically update data or not)

What i did was i contact rockstar games support asking for them to revert my account back to ps4 version and they did it for me although they said this is a one time favour they do for me so u guys can try ur luck see if they decide to help. Do keep in mind that u will lose all progress post migration and ur acc will be back to the last progress u had saved on ps4 version before u migrate to ps5 version.

@@ghost_exirt7459 yes u can continue playing from that last saved. When i migrated it was on the earlier days when ps5 got released. There was a version of a patch im not too sure when but they let u migrate ur account to ps5 and it wont delete the ps4 one. Do note that it will be like playing on 2 different accounts tho as progress on ps4 wont have any effect on ur ps5 account.

Have you fully created your character? The game may be asking if you want to alter you character's if solo just say no.

You dont need to ever start from over. When you first go online on ps5 version it asks you to use your old ps4 account
