    Does this unit still have 767 on its roof? Or was that painted over immediately?

    AWVR 767 has a P3, while the other units have K3LA's. Good to know.

    One train goes one way. Another train is going another way after it stops. What do you mean by "unstoppable unit"?

    I thought they don't use cabooses any more but rather EOT devices.

    • @AwesomeRailFan
      @AwesomeRailFan  6 лет назад +2

      Walter Tomaszewski They use cabooses now for making reverse moves of long distance it gives a safe platform for a conductor to stand. Another use is a office/ place to have food for maintenance of way crews!

      Welded rail trains tend to make long ( 30 plus miles ) backup moves.
      Cheers

    Theres only 2 with the Unstoppable plow left? Ive been looking for them / this unit for years! What line did they use in the movie? Obviously CP but where is that big bridge from the movie?

    • @AwesomeRailFan
      @AwesomeRailFan  8 лет назад +5

      Yeah 2 from movie, it was filmed on Wheeling and lake erie track in Ohio i think

      I believe 9758 and 9782 are the only AC4400’s with their movie plows left. I’ll be uploading a video of 9758 in Winnipeg in 2016

      Bridge with tight curve is Bellaire bridge of Bellaire, Ohio. Not to be confused with another bridge by the same name in the same area, an abandoned road bridge.

      Most of it was filmed in Pennsylvania between Portville N.Y., and St. Marys PA. The line is used by WNYP (Western New York & Pa) out of Olean NY. The movie shows them going through Eldred PA., and several other small towns in Pennsylvania. I live about 45 minutes from where they filmed it, and got to see them filming it.

    AwesomeRailFan, what are those cars at the end of the work train? I've never seen those before. Thanks for a great video. I do railfanning in London, Ontario with my dad. It's a great hobby!

    • @AwesomeRailFan
      @AwesomeRailFan  6 лет назад

      Hello :) Im not exactly sure which cars you mean at the back but for the work train there is the caboose and box car and behind that is a Continuous Welded Rail Train or CWR train for short! if you google it youll see what it is better. Its basically cars for holding very long sections of rail welded together into one long rail! This makes less connection joints in the rails for better mainline tracks. These gondolas are fitted with racks that can hold several of these rails! Thanks for the comment! Hope that helps
