When you are running wires especially the amp power wire put on shielding over the wire and use a rubber grommet when running it through the body holes. Over time vibration can cause cutting of the wire insulation and can be a hazard for all electronics in the car like the ECM.
Nice upgrade, however I must say. This is a Bad Fire waiting to happen. I didn't see a Fuse for the main power wire, and No Grommet where you inserted it into the interior of the jeep. "Not hating Just wanting to point that out for anyone watching this and wanting to do their own".
nice video. bit dark in the back half. I just installed the Joying 13.3 rotating screen stereo, DS18 Candy Amp, 4 -5way speakers and a 6.5" Skar subwoofer. Sounds fantastic in my 2002 Jeep TJ
Who said Jeeps can not sound great? nice upgrade! Just be sure your power wire is in a safe location, vibrations or elements from the outside could damage your wire and be in contact with the chasis (ground) But amazing! If you gat more channels in your amp, add a subwoofer under the seats! Saludos desde México!
there is a reason Jeep ran all the wiring on the inside of the tube and put the major electrical above the door seals. it will get wet.... well up till 04 that is. damn mall crawlers.
@rashmedo If you want bass then you'll have to add subs. Regular speakers wouldn't be sufficient enough. You'll get more bass with replacement speakers and an amp but most likely not enough
@@ArdenAutomotive You bought a 2000 watt amp for speakers. even if you were going to install a subwoofer you don't even need to come close to 2000 watts

Thanks for this video. Did you get eire adapters for the roll bar speakers also or just the dash?
I cant 100% remember but I'm pretty sure I didn't get adapters for the roll bar speakers
@@ArdenAutomotive I got them for both thanks
Great video bro. Was the amp enough to give good bass. Or did you have to install an additional sub?
This was all he wanted. I never installed subs on this one
@@ArdenAutomotive how did it sound though. Was it adequate?
In terms of base and quality

where did those brackets for the 4x6 come from, were they already in the jeep?
I got them on Crutchfield. The part number is Metra 82-1011
Did he have a sub in the console?
I don’t believe so
@@ArdenAutomotive My 2002 TJ does, so that is one more I have to swap out.
ripped them off hard with that amp.
They didn’t want to pay $200+ for a good one so have to find a cheaper option. Not my fault

@@andrewilliamson6057 it’s a Walmart amp. It’s not like it’s 2000 watts rms
@@23dunmc Still ripped them off chief. Don't feel good about yourself
Everything in this build is crap.
This makes me sad.
How so?
