  • Judge Judy is going viral after calling out Manhattan’s prosecutor for spending millions of taxpayer dollars on a nonsense Trump trial while criminals who make it unsafe to walk the streets or ride the subway in NYC roam free. Let’s talk about it.

I always felt like Judge Judy was what feminism claaimed to be throughout my college years. Exactly and that's a feminism I could get behind. I remember when I was a teen girl and I ran into Clementine Ford's brand of feminism. That turned me away from it all together. I was told I was a bot, brainwashed, misguided, and a guy pretending to be a girl all because I didn't like that Clementine signed a book with "Have you killed any men today? If not, why?"

@@SaturdayParker I don't think feminism was right. Even in its incarnate forms. It was a different system with its pros and cons just like the patriarchy. I would argue infact that maybe it wasn't worth it seeing what it has devolved to. I think we are socially conditioned to like feminism because, well, we don't want to be woman haters, do we? Social revolutionaries seek to tear down structures without knowing what they're for. I think that's what we did with feminism. Maybe the previous system was too rigid but it was rigid as a result of social contagion not actual force. So is feminism.

Hell yeah! ❤I grew up on Judge Judy and have always loved her! I always knew she doesn't buy into this crap but it's refreshing and fun to actually hear some of these interviews with her.

in the world of tv judges, i do not find judge judy to be the best. she is #1, by far, in popularity, but some of her rulings are total head scratchers. the best judge is milan who never rules from an emotional place, unlike judge judy

I loved watching Judge Judy with my mom growing up. I loved the wit and sass she had in her show, but also the fact that she can display her intelligence while doing so! She was actually my inspiration to consider a Law degree before I went with my actual studies of Biochemistry.

She’s always been based. Her “I’m not a woman judge, I’m a judge who happens to be a woman” (not a direct quote) made me an instant fan. She values hard work, not hiding behind movements and demanding an easier life.

Two minutes and 15 seconds in she says he is a great businessman, right let's unpack that:
GoTrump, Trump Airlines, Trump Vodka, Trump Mortgage, Trump: The Game, Trump Magazine, Trump University, Trump Ice and how many casinos have failed? The house always wins, right? A grand jury was convened and judged there was enough evidence to go to a trial in which he was found guilty by a jury of his peers of 34 counts of bank fraud. So blue collar crime isn't a crime?

Judy is probably like a lot of people when it comes to Trump. You may not like the things he says, or how he lives his life, but the man was a much better president then we've had for a while

Judge Judy said on an interview that she's not a "feminist" because she doesn't need a label to "get ahead" in life. She said just self-worth, believing in yourself, hardwork and being the BEST in what you do, no matter what, is enough. Sure we want equality for all, but you have to kind of earn it (regardless of gender).

I understand that giving the time to prosecute crimes that impact the general populace is important and necessary. But wouldn't you agree that expediting Trumps trial is better for US citizens?! Especially, if he is one of the presidential candidates. He has undoubtedly done unconstitutional actions which warrant a certain amount of skepticism, considering his renewed candidacy for presidency.
