Not even a month ago, I waited 2 weeks for the V1 of the Lian Li 1000w Edge PSU and now there’s this and it’s cheaper than the one I bought even if it’s $5 cheaper
Really glad to see a brand finally including nice quality braided cables with the PSU, always annoying when you have to spend an extra £50/100 or so to CableMod to get yourself a good quality set of cables when building, will definitely keep this PSU in mind for my next build. Worth paying the extra cost just for that imo
@@ChristopherFlanniganYeah having trouble finding one in stock at the moment, otherwise would be getting one ordered ASAP lol. Very low stock for the 1300w version it seems
Would the Fan hub on the PSU replace the need for a seperate fan hub like the one included with Lian Li's SL infinity fans, or do you still need that hub to control RGB and what not?
Just bought the Platinium verison of it today and directly returned it. The fan is so annoying. It has a 0 Fan Mode but as soon as the fan just kicks in it is just damn loud. Too bad because I liked the idea with the USB Hub and the edge connections
@@grzegorzrex I just ordered NZXT C1200 Gold ATX 3.1 Black (also available in white) Will probably receive it next week. I swapped my whole PC from the Corsair 7000D Airflow in White to the NZXT H7 Flow (2024) and I wanted a smaller PSU since my "old" Dark Power Pro 12 is so huge. I manged it somehow to get the DPP12 in but I am not happy specially since the fan of it also making noise since it is now vertical installed.
I just got the 1000W platinum version of this PSU that has the USB hub built into it instead of a separate USB hub needing to be attached on magnetically.
@ChristopherFlannigan I like your videos. Thank you for doing them. I'm about to be finishing up my very first build, and your videos taught me how to do it. I watched your PC build guide videos for over a year learning all I could, researched all components I was interested in using, and built my PC. Thanks.
where would you recommended setting up a mini lcd screen in the vision compact case? I have the non lcd trinity aio and want something for gifts/temps.

@@Chris_Smash Hahahahah yeah.... sorry for you bro but the good news is that it isnt really a dealbreaker and as long as you are happy with the current psu then no need to stress it. I was very lucky as i was really close to ordering the old one but i for some reason decided to wait and now this one is out
Looks excellent! Nice cables, too. Looking forward to your build! Thanks for all you do!
Thanks 👍
Between this power supply and the fans you did last, really looking forward to your next build.
Me too
Such a simple yet extremely clever idea and excellent implementation....I have officially become a Lian Li enthusiast!
Fantastic!
Nice review as always, thanks again. Looking forward to the build. Happy New Year.
Thanks 👍
Hats 🎩 off to Lian Li for thier revolutionary designs and technology firstly overcomes pc case fans than pc cases and now power-supply 🙌🙌
Yes, it's a solid psu

Lian-Li is innovating again i really like the fan/usb hub. Only downside is the kinda ''locket'' orientation.
Really nice option to have
Really nice that it uses a 120mm fan, so you should be able to replace it for a quieter one or just another one if it dies.
It's a nice psu all round
@ChristopherFlannigan Someone need to put a UNI FAN Wireless LCD in there 😅

Wish I had this when I was building in the Dan A3 last month.
It's a very nice unit
That psu looks really good. When those it come out? Because once i got that 5070 ti i would need a bit more watt than i got at the time.

Yes, you are right, I just read about it and that is its minus for me.
I'm still deciding between Lian Li and ASUS ROG Strix 1000G Aura White Edition.

If you aren't planning on moving the hub it will work just as well

I haven't tried this, might be best to do the build and see what space is left to help you pick the size and location for the screen
oh i want one of these :D Although that "dust filter" ? Last time i checked dust it wont be stopped by those gigantic holes 🤣
It's a balance between cooling vs filtration i'm sure
Nice additional development compared to Platinum series. Glad I did not order the platinum yet
now they have gone and done it, making me want a lian li PSU
If you are using their wireless fans it makes sense to go with this one
I bought it immediately
I'm sure you won't be disappointed
Are the fans port in these not propietary so they can be used with other fans not from LianLi?
do they look proprietary? come on man
@mainsource8030 No lo sé :3
Just standard PWM headers and usb 2.0 headers so use them for anything
I see a new lian li stuff, and I just want to buy it. They're dangerous.
Sure are
Thanks
Welcome
This must be the best PSU we can buy in 2025!
Finding the best long term PSU is really difficult. You pretty much have to rely on the PSU tier list which is getting an update sometime this year.
Bro, it's just a psu. There are better and cheaper ones.

Anybody know a date to buy this in EU?

well done

If these idiotic motherboard manufacturers can stop making boards with two USB 2.0 hub that would been better.
Two works for most build and if they were to add more they might need to remove something else
