Dude, I love Officer as my RT. I didnt think I'd like a support type character. But after BG3 I wanted a main that could do all the speech checks. Man am I having a blast! Being able to constantly choose which party member gets extra turns is just phenomenal. Most of the time its Argenta once battle starts, but its often one of the melee char as well, or start off with Cassia first time for Lidless Stare?! Constant options and always changing depending on how battle is going. Very fun. And he also hits like a truck because I made him my sniper so he isnt a slouch for damage either.
@@azarisLP depends on a difficulty I guess. I'm playing slightly lightened "daring" (-20% enemy damage + normal void battles) and I'm using a lot of ultis. But it's also possible that I'm playing wrong :)
Guess Strategist is the most complex and original class for cRPGs. Messing with those plans and disposition is not easy but fun. But most solid class I've got is Argenta as Arch-Militant, she has quite a few abilities but the most useful ones: shoot it, shoot it more, shoot it fast, kick it then shoot it, praise The Emperor =)
The Officer is probably the most OP but, every class can be OP. Warriors are probably the most fun/simple to play. Soldier can be very strong with a good weapon. Some of the Xenos weapons are amazing. My Favorite Tier 2 Class is definately the Arch Millitant.
Officers break the action economy pretty hard (taking extra turns breaks pretty much any turn-based strategy game), so I'm skewing away from the most broken stuff like Seize the Initiative that might get a nerf at some point. Also Arch-Militant's Versatility supposedly triggers in situations it's not supposed to (like using burst fire from bolters), which allows some absurd buff stacking. I've liked my Ministorum Priest Warrior Vanguard RT so far. He doesn't do much other than yell at heretics and bash them with a Thunder Hammer, but it's honest work and it's refreshing that an Owlcat game finally has a viable tank archetype. As for the companions so far, Jae is mechanically most fun to play as she orders everyone around her and then pulls out the dual pistols to finish off whatever is still left afterwards.

I dont think you can use your heroic ability more than once on each character per combat, can you?
Has anyone ever activated Daring Breach without the combat pretty much ending that turn?
