I'm sorry health issues got in the way of dreams. Seen that too often.... hope the motor ends up in an appreciative home. Wish I was in the right position to consider this myself. Hope it's easy to find a home that makes all 3 parties whole.
Great to see you back! I also just finished rebuilding another V12 out of a 91 XJS convertible and fired it up for the first time a few weeks ago. The engine leveler I bought from you is absolutely crucial for me to be able to reinstall the engine and transmission by myself. The newer rear main seal on the 91 is much easier than the old rope seal. I was amazed when I started it up how well it ran right out of the gate, idled smooth from first start. I have a video clip of the first start up on my RUclips page. My next engine project is going to be a pre HE motor. I have a set of NOS racing pistons among other things for the build. I really want to purchase a set of performance heads from the guys in Norway for that build. I am also still on the hunt for a set of equal length headers for the V12. After I get a few other cars finished and out of my shop, I plan on bringing my XJS coupe with the 5 speed conversion back in to continue racing related upgrades. One more thing, where did you get the new pistons for the engine??? Is someon finally making HE pistons? Thanks!
Sounds like you've been bitten hard by the Jag V-12 bug.😃 The pistons are made to my spec by an aftermarket manufacturer of forged pistons. Any of them can do it.Good luck with your projects.
Greetings from Norway. Good to see you back. About merch. Where do I get the blind plugs to get rid of the smog pump? I got the bracket and belt idler.
Worth every penny Bob

Good of you to focus on the “real” bits that keep these Jag’s running.

@@JohnVoll-kp7qb I’m not sure I know what you mean by the blind plugs.
