As an early childhood experience , when my lips first took to song while singing together in a family setting , it was this song that we sung as a family to each other !
My husky voiced siren... You, your songs have helped me right out of a hard time and got me singing your songs while getting into your guitar style. Thank you.
Sierra you are perfect with your harmony friend Anita carter voice. Whom I believe was the original Anyway Have to give credit to Your genius and soul. Head the sweetness of Kitty in your voice. See ya around?
A song a lot older than me, it was still popular when I was a child in the Fifties. It is a pleasure to hear two young women harmonise at any time, as it brings back memories of my young attendance at Baptist church services. This is a lovely rendition which I don't mind saying brought tears to my eyes. Thanks!
That was so great. Sometimes simple is best and that's certainly the case here. Beautiful harmony. Damn nice fiddlin', too. I've followed Sierra for awhile now, but I don't know this other person. Is she Sia Moon?
The fact is that Leftist Liars RUclips stopped keeping track of thumbs Down when Joe Biden came along and was getting overwhelmed with thumbs down. Double standard fake media. I like the music too but I hate the liars they protect the Democrat organized crime party
I grew up in Troy, NY. As a kid of about 9 yrs. old (1959) I remember 2 street performers, a blind man on guitar and a woman on accordion doing this song. Whenever I hear this I can picture them walking down the street singing and playing this.
For those who do not already know; she also does original songs, which she wrote, in addition to the classic traditional tunes which no-one records because they probably think the songs are too old.
Damn Girl you sing this more western than Gene Autrey. (beg your pardon Gene)... Could not do this without your fiddle player... p.s... You are much easier to look at without that thing in your nose also..
Love me mommy Millie Racoon. She literally looks just like my mom young. And I look just like my mom. So even though I’m 42, I look just like Millie Raccoon.
my mom sang this to me as a young boy.. i am 66 now and u brought that memory back to my heart .. u r wonderful young lady..
I used to sing it to my little boy in his crib. He is a fine 36 year old now.

The other night dear as I lay sleeping. I dreamt I held you in my arms. When I woke up, I was mistaken. So I held my head and cried.

Sierra looking in the camera like she's looking for me
Two Years already?
My sunshine is Sierra
Governor Jimmie Davis top hit. We sang it in early elementary school. He'd be proud of what the ladies have done with it. .

Playing and singing just for the pure pleasure of it. Makes my old heart glad.

Love the bass runs on the guitar. Love that you are keeping THE MUSIC alive!
Sierra is my sunshine
Our Louisiana governor Jimmy Davis wrote this song. It was played at both my Mother and sisters funeral, I miss both very much.
Just beautiful. Great harmonies. Thank you Ladies!
She sounds a lot like Kitty Wells . Any one agree ?
Some day I hope to see both of you together on stage singing , y’all have perfect harmony!❤
Love Watching And Listening To The Absolutely Gorgeous And Talented Sierra ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
She's really good but I have never seen a bow like that.
I think it's an old style used in baroque days before the modern bow. I have a similar one that came with a psaltery.
Love me mommy Millie Racoon. She literally looks just like my mom young. And I look just like my mom. So even though I’m 42, I look just like Millie Raccoon.
I have to see & hear this every day, it sounds so great.

Stunning! I've never seen a violin bow like that- It looks like it has a frog on each end instead of a tip? Is that typical for this style of music?
It looks like a baroque bow
This is mine and my little girl's song. Beautiful, thank you. xxx
