Strictly my perspective here: These are people who didn't live through that era! It was yuck then and has given me a lifelong aversion to harvest gold, avocado green and those dark brown interiors. Depressing! It was so refreshing when brighter, cheerful colors started showing up. (My sixties house has a fresh coat of teal paint on the kitchen cabinets!) 😉
Haha! I hear you! I grew up in the Seventies and my mother loved the browns, golds and rusts. She was especially fond of orange and rust but, mercifully, avocado green wasn’t her thing. I would never want to live in a house with a Seventies colour palette again. Having said that, those three canvases Evan painted didn’t look true to the era at all. The peach was late Eighties/early Nineties and the olive green is pretty current. I fully expected them to inject a rich rusty orange into the house.

Loved the costumes, hair and music at the open house. That was fun.
Think the 70s decor will feel very dated in 2 minutes...
They can easily change it. Fun for younger people. I don't really care for the harvest gold cause I experienced it the first time around 😂😂

No, wait, leave the awnings on! Or at least leave them in a shed so they can be put on in the summer. Super good way to cool down the house in the summer.

Maybe they bought it and had begun working on it; it sure looks better than it did in the early part of this episode. I’m sure it would help to sell the Disco House if the neighbouring houses were in decent condition.
