MIke Harris Our supplier who makes the plastic has done the different back plate for the '14 but I don't believe Ford has ordered them yet. Make sure you request it from your local dealer so the know there is a demand for it. I will check with the supplier if they have any update too.
Jeremy Tonkin - Do you work for Dakkota Systems? I attempted to use the Ford unit on my 2005 GT and found out I had to change the polarity going in to make the pony illuminate - parking lamps and turn signals worked properly and still work properly after changing the polarity. This unit doesn't quite fit the 2005 OEM grille correctly but there is a replacement grille with a flat pony mount commonly available on eBay for under $50 - works well. A special thanks to Tim Kelly of Dakkota Systems and his assistance here.
Nice. Glowing pony is tasteful enough to not be in your face but definitely adds noticeable impact and cool factor. Like the non-yellowish LEDs as well.

The first one had a bluish glow from a glowing sheet of film sandwiched behind the pony. The same vendor also offered a similar Ford emblem in different sizes for Ford pickup trucks - bought one of those too and it suffered from the same issues also. The second one was a white pony loaded with LEDs and was completely reliable - came from J.C. Whitney. The one here appears to be an actual Ford accessory with a Ford part number. Looking to adapt it to my 2005 GT as I tapped into the LF parking lamp circuit to make the other ones work also.

does this match the tri-bar light color in the headlight at night? it looks like it does in your video. but in the garage it looks like a generic led blue color.

Can't you just remove the screws in the front of the car of the panel underneath in order to take the bumper off? because it seems as if the bumper is only connected to the screws in the front.
16P51-GT I meant do you have to remove the entire panel underneath the car? or can you just remove the screws that connect the panel to the bumper and just leave the panel hanging?...if that makes sense
Oh, you're referring to the belly pan. I'm not sure if you can get the bumper off without taking the belly pan off. Every time that we've removed the front bumper, we pull the belly pan off too but I can't remember off hand if it's actually required. I'll have to try it next time.
Hi. i think the pony looks great. But if i look at the big picture i think there is not good contrast in the front because the lights are too bright and that makes it little bit boring and the pony will dead out.... Just my opinion... but nice car and sorry for my bad english. i am from Finland :D
Yep, the one that ties in to the brake lights is sick. I'm just trying to figure out if it could be used with the GT's. It would be an easy switch for the EcoBoost and V6's since they have the pony emblem on the decklid.

I received email stating there email was invalid. so I contacted PayPal and filed claim they couldn't contact company either and luckily PayPal refunded my money immediately. I was so disappointed because I've been wanting this since I saw homemade versions on utube. so idk why but it happened. just thought I'd let u know. if you have another place that can provide this part id like to know.

Yeah, as far as I know. Some of the new Mercedes actually come with illuminated emblems stock. So, I would think that it would be legal. Plus it's not extremely bright so it doesn't over power the headlights.
This is a Ford accessory with 'plug and play' design for fitting most 2015 and newer Mustangs. I'm sure it can be easily adapted to your car though. Just locate the LF parking lamp wires and tap into them. Be sure to weatherproof all wiring mods and connections.

I have the same license plate bracket on my 2014. I strongly recommend putting a lube or grease on the pin and rods.

6k HID's a probably the closest to a true white LED color.

No, there are a few screws holding the bumper on. Some on top, some on bottom and the side.

There is a large circular piece protruding on the back of the emblem. It was cut to the exact diameter, per the instructions.

The Pony emblem can be installed without removing the bumper if you have a GT, if you have an EcoBoost, you'll need to remove it.
