Interesting enough, some of us Philly fans were growing worried, that the Curse had been renewed upon the approval of the American Commerce Center. Thankfully, the building was cancelled, and as such the Comcast Center remains the tallest structure in Philly, with Billy Penn still atop. If the Commerce Center had been built, it would've been without a Billy Penn statue.
I remembered the moment the Phillies won the World Series. it was a sense of relief, that was my emotion. The drought was over.
A curse that started becsuse of a building taller than City Hall, it's creepy to think that curses can start from something small like that
