It's true. When the second taller Comcast tower was finished they put another William Penn statue on top. The next year the Eagles won their first Superbowl.

Nice stereotyping there, especially considering protestors know they're risking pepper spray, being shot, etc. Pretty sure heights wouldn't be a problem.
But that aside, who besides haters of the cities sports teams is calling for the removal of Penn's statues? He negotiated with the local tribes, left the colonies for good in 1701, and although by some accounts he apparently did own slaves he was a pacifist Quaker whom were among the first groups to denounce slavery soon thereafter.
So I have to say that if you think they'd go after it in the first place then you're ignorant of the point of the protests.
