She even allowed peeps to bring their own kayaks charging a mere $5.00. That entire 34 strip was a great day to be had.....AM Kayak on Lake Housatonic, wet lunch at Bad Sons and din din at Twisted Vine! Thank you for highlighting Derby assets!

@@connecticutcoastallife or names can be forgotten through the passage of time, it’s easily done. Just peaked my interest because I was watching A Haunting and an episode of that is based in Derby Connecticut and since I’m from Derbyshire England I had to investigate a little.
@Anibal Perez I would check out www.niche.com or greatschools.org so you can compare them to other areas in the state. Then you can decide if it meets what you are looking for as everyone's preferences on what is important to their family is different.
The regular public schools are low performing, but at the high school level there are plenty of magnet and tech school options. K-8 options exist, but usually you can just send your kids to regular public schools until then.

Wasn’t Derby Connecticut the sister town to my hometown of Derby in Great Britain?

School are they good or bad

Derby schools aren't the best.
The Special Education Program is exceptional. We have had tenants move from Fairfield County here for this reason!
