Hey, thanks! The sticker is just one big square sheet, had to cut out the smaller bits by hand, which I just did by tracing out the outline basically. I'm not able to get to a computer for a few days to check the file, I'll try to to get back to you next week with the measurements of the one I ended up using!

I had the same idea, but I couldn't find any that were readymade. There's a shop on Etsy that has ae-1200s with a moon on the analog clock part, but he didn't want to sell just the moon part. I think you'd have to custom order a sticker (there's loads of providers online, I used stickerapp). What I did with the NASA-sticker was estimate the size, and make a sticker with a bunch that were of similar but slightly different sizes so I could pick the best one. Also possible is I think just printing out a moon in the correct size on paper. That would block out the clock, but it's worth a try.
I would say probably yes, the case and caseback are solid and the rubber gasket is in place, but I'm not going to try it out. It's definitely splash- and rainproof, but I take it off before a shower.

One thing that could be improved is to use decals insead of stickers, so you do not see the cutting edge. But in any case, this is a fantastic mod.

Thanks! Actually after the video I put in a new NASA sticker because I wasn't happy with the placement either, took it down like half a millimeter.

Yeah, the ones I ordered were 10cm x 10cm I think, had to make a file with smaller logos on it that I could cut out.

A white case would fit well too I think. A ceracote one maybe? I felt like the shiny bare metal fit in well with the NASA aesthetic.
