Something I really like about Japanese society is that they seem to really respect those that hone in their skills in whatever craft they make their career. Jobs are seen more as a lifelong dedication and people devote themselves into perfecting what they do.
I just love how fluid and precise the mannerisms of the older Japanese people are, I think we can all learn from our elders and I happen to enjoy watching the old hands demonstrate their skills

This is what I love about Japan. I love that they uderstand the beauty and value of mastering a craft, and respect the carftsman. While here (in the Netherlands) people look down at many jobs like for example hairdresser, postman, carpenters etc, so much that they often become student jobs, which decreases the quality. In Japan however it seems this is not the case, you will be respected for the work you do and the wisdom and skill that it required to learn it no matter what kind of job position. This is wonderful, I want to learn this way of thinking.
How dare look down on carpenter. That is a calling making from wood something you use in your dailly life. Sire technology and other stuff maybe make it easy but still takes a lot of work and dedication. You think is easy to make chair and damn good looking one. Working with your hands. My family goes to one of the oldest care parlors in our city, and the lady that does our hair cuts, styles, etc is awesome, we always leave relaxed after a nice hair wash, a massage and a haircut from her.

Whatever they are charging the service is worth it - I'd leave a generous tip. I don't think it gets any better than this.
