I sang the ♪ oh oh ohoo ♪ part with Momometal, who wore a headset mic for the first time like Moa has done since BM's inception. I did it with my loudest voice in the show. What a bliss! The flying drones with cameras that enabled the beautiful aerial cinematograph were manipulated by experts including Ms. Shiraishi. She is a member of team Japan for World Drone Racing Championship. Western (American) Kami Band played in the girls' back like they did in BM's world tour last year. Japanese fans always appreciate the devoted support like knights by Chris, CJ, Anthony and Clint (Ryan replaced in USA). They are really unsung heroes.
The live performance at PIA Arena was Momometal's first performance as a full member of Babymetal, so it was a pretty special occasion. They had done the thing with having everyone hold up their phones with the light on previously at Babymetal Returns in Jan 2023, but it looked particularly spectacular at this performance.
That's one of the unique qualities of Babymetal performances.... Same song, but in different venues or time evoke different feelings... Karate MV vs Karate from Download 2016... IDZ from 2014 their first major performance overseas vs IDZ from Tokyo Dome... Road of Resistance live in Tokyo vs from their Metal Galaxy concert where you have all the Avengers and both Eastern and Western Kamibands on stage... or Megitsune MV vs Megitsune from the Red Fox Festival where the audience was only women.... have fun exploring Babymetal. 😁😁😁🤘🦊🤘

The biggest point of this band is the energy between them and the crowd. I am over 60 years old but was never connected to a band like them. I have cried of luck during the concert. Unbelievable. Everybody should feel this vibes.❤

Not quite, in fact their costumes were changed from one Version to the next within a Single concert. In dark night they wore their costumes with a darf dress Attacken to it. Then these dresses were replaced with special Fouls, that reflect the light selektiven. It Dependance on the light that they reflect. It is in principle a change, since they can't get rid of Smartphones. To many people have to use their Smartphones since the can't see anything.so you often see rows of Smartphones even when they are forbidden. In Japan they normally allow Smartphones in three songs( when normal Photos can be Shot by journalists, but otherwise no one really cares. They are trying to fight sgainst their small Sensors by overloading the Automatic Gain Control. The pictures constantly change the brightness and color since they can't determine the whitepoint. In real equipment they normally prefer Raw insgesamt and determine the whiepoine externally.

Another meaning for the songs is the atomic blast that survivors saw ( monochrome fireworks) and the devastation. 3 different "takes' of the meaning of one songs, depending on which version.

If you want to see their real kawaii side, you should react to Megitsune official video, which was recorded 11 years ago, when they were still teenagers. After that, you might be ready for their very first song, Doki Doki Morning, recorded when Su was still 12 and the other girls 11 (not even teenagers!). BTW, Su-Metal was born in 1997 (she is called the 1997 legend), while Moa and Yui (the latter is the one who left the group for health reasons) were born in 1999. Momoko, the girl which was added as third member during the concert in Pia Arena you just watched (after the recording of Monochrome piano version) is the youngest, as she was born in 2003.
Another song which is certainly worth to react to is Road of Resistance live in japan (official). I prefer that old version of that song because their crowd interaction is simply unbelievable, considering their age in 2015 Please react to that version before other more modern versions of the same song, and you won't regret it.
The girl in this lyric video laments not only the events of Hiroshima, but also the many conflicts in this world in the past and present. And she is trying to atone for the mistakes of humanity with her beautiful singing voice. Of course, she is Suzuka Nakamoto😀
Well as Su herself said for her it sounds like a Fanny song. And she is from Hiroshima . We mustn't forget for her this is as usual all ancient historie. And in fact it was more seen as an opportunity to build after the horror and desperation of an atomic impact. She was quite Co fused so they added the light sequence, that is always a huge part of the concert. This was Momokos first Day as a Babymetal, so she didn't obey in the right Männer.
I get the history of the song, especially with the visualization in the lyric video which makes it all the more impactful. ☺️ Momoko still did a good job! 🥰

I highly suggest their song "Brand new day" and "Light and darkness" and "Maya" those are the songs that are more poppy and melodic.. Because they can really go heavy on their other songs..

@@sassjastans I can see you enjoyed this one a lot :) It's just my personal preference (metalhead here). In fact, the song is a fan favorite. Actually, I don't have a clear favorite... probably "Mirror Mirror" but "Believing", "MAYA", "Divine Attack" and "METALIZM" are very close (I almost said all of them haha...). In my opinion, this is their best and most cohesive album.
It's hopeful - but in the main beautiful sad and poignant and referencing quite obviously certain historical events in history (the tree is well known in Japan - as is Su's birthplace). Porbably my favourite BM track other than possibly Kagerou

Tbh it seems pretty disingenuous to think otherwise looking at it - you could hardly be more specific. If not herself then the people creating the video certainly interpreted it that way - even the term monochrome firework fits perfectly . While I certainly don't think she's singing about that event exclusively, at the least it is referencing these events or similar (possibly among other things). If I may include myself in your conversation (hihi hello), I think that’s the beauty of art, right? That there can be many interpretations and symbolisms. As I see it, the creators of the lyric video implies a destruction of some sort so I agree, it may not be one specific event but it does seem like it’s referencing to similar ones. But for me, the beauty of the song (the video and the performance as well) is that it shows that whatever happens, no matter how monochromatic life can get, there will always be hope. I even think the part where Momometal isn't center stage with Su and Moa. And Su reaches out to her is a great show of unity amongst them. From duo to the new trio. Babymetal started out as a trio. It's really atmospheric which I like. Divine Attack brought the hype and Monochrome brought beautiful vibes. The next single will bring the heavy vibes I hope. Well, this song certainly shows that the few second snippets don't really spoil or give away the songs at all. The chorus with the is catchy, but the drum riffs are the jam for me upon first couple of listens. Since the snippets don't reveal the songs, I'm wondering if the five songs that will be released aren't gonna reveal the final album as a concept album, once released and listened to in full and in sequence, as most concept albums are meant to be listened to. Being that this album is conceptual, and should probably be listened to as a whole and in order, this could be a fun slow-burn reveal to. As of now only two original Babymetal are in the current status, Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-Metal, Main Vocalist) & Moa Kikuchi (Moametal, Backing Vocals). The third member Momoko Okazaki becomes Babymetal official 3rd member On April 1, 2023, during the Babymetal concert "Babymetal Begins: Black Night" at the Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Okazaki was officially announced as their new member with the stage name "Momometal". Later that year, her vocals were featured in the spoken section of Babymetal's digital single "Metali!!".

Another meaning for the songs is the atomic blast that survivors saw ( monochrome fireworks) and the devastation. 3 different "takes' of the meaning of one songs, depending on which version.

Strange you mentioned being at one with other fans BabyMetal call their fans The One and wrote a song called the One dedicated to their fans.we are all part of the one BabyMetal the Kamis and everyone behind the scenes and the fans are The One❤ so 3 versions of a song, all with a different feel to them, but where you ready for the live performance of them in their natural environment ( performing on stage)

If you want to see their real kawaii side, you should react to Megitsune official video, which was recorded 11 years ago, when they were still teenagers. After that, you might be ready for their very first song, Doki Doki Morning, recorded when Su was still 12 and the other girls 11 (not even teenagers!). BTW, Su-Metal was born in 1997 (she is called the 1997 legend), while Moa and Yui (the latter is the one who left the group for health reasons) were born in 1999. Momoko, the girl which was added as third member during the concert in Pia Arena you just watched (after the recording of Monochrome piano version) is the youngest, as she was born in 2003.
Another song which is certainly worth to react to is Road of Resistance live in japan (official). I prefer that old version of that song because their crowd interaction is simply unbelievable, considering their age in 2015 Please react to that version before other more modern versions of the same song, and you won't regret it.

Well as Su herself said for her it sounds like a Fanny song. And she is from Hiroshima . We mustn't forget for her this is as usual all ancient historie. And in fact it was more seen as an opportunity to build after the horror and desperation of an atomic impact. She was quite Co fused so they added the light sequence, that is always a huge part of the concert. This was Momokos first Day as a Babymetal, so she didn't obey in the right Männer.

"Monochrome" is probably one of my least favorites (musically wise) from The Other One album... BUT, funnily enough, I absolutely love the live performance. There is something with the tone of those guitars that gets me every time. Not to mention Su-metal's vocals (self-confessed addict to her singing voice here). I've already experienced this one live three times and I hope to experience it again really soon. 😊

Actually, I don't have a clear favorite... probably "Mirror Mirror" but "Believing", "MAYA", "Divine Attack" and "METALIZM" are very close (I almost said all of them haha...). In my opinion, this is their best and most cohesive album.
It's hopeful - but in the main beautiful sad and poignant and referencing quite obviously certain historical events in history (the tree is well known in Japan - as is Su's birthplace). Porbably my favourite BM track other than possibly Kagerou

This song is about the bomb over Hiroshima. The singer laments the monochrome firework and longs for clear rainbow skies. Su is from Hiroshima.
That is speculation based on the visuals in the lyric video. Su-metal herself said she was surprised that fans were interpreting it this way.
Tbh it seems pretty disingenuous to think otherwise looking at it - you could hardly be more specific. If not herself then the people creating the video certainly interpreted it that way - even the term monochrome firework fits perfectly . While I certainly don't think she's singing about that event exclusively, at the least it is referencing these events or similar (possibly among other things). If I may include myself in your conversation (hihi hello), I think that’s the beauty of art, right? That there can be many interpretations and symbolisms. As I see it, the creators of the lyric video implies a destruction of some sort so I agree, it may not be one specific event but it does seem like it’s referencing to similar ones. But for me, the beauty of the song (the video and the performance as well) is that it shows that whatever happens, no matter how monochromatic life can get, there will always be hope.
