Suzuka Nakamoto, aka Su-metal, is the main vocalist. The other two, Moametal and Momometal, are backup singers and dancers primarily although they do occasionally take lead vocals on special occasions like their birthday concerts (they tend to have large concerts for each of the ladies birthdays). Yes please do more Babymetal.
@@alexatakesalook Just wait until you see how they celebrated Su-metal's 16th birthday onstage... I'm gonna sub so I don't miss when you get to that 💀✝️💀🦊🤘
Babymetal has a magical ability to bridge multigenerations together. I've seen 6 year olds all the way to 80 year olds enjoying Babymetal. Their music is wholesome with no sexual references, no violence, no hatred. Instead they sing about the total opposite of what most sing about these days. They sing about joining together to help each other out, ending bullying forever, never give up and keep on trying, fight for what you believe in and stuff like that. You are correct, they all ARE beautiful, however, I'd say about a good 80% of us in the fandom, while appreciate how pretty they are, look at them more as little sisters or something along those lines because If you go back far enough you'll be able to see Babymetal when the main vocalist was 14 and the 2 dancers were 12. So seeing them for that long and watching them as they grow up.... well... they become like a family member. Hopefully you get what I'm trying to say lol Yes the young lady with the Ponytail is the main vocalist. That's actually why she is the only one with the Ponytail. Her stage name is Su-Metal. The 2 dancers/back up singers in this concert were Moametal and Momometal. Moametal is the one with the dimples when she smiles while Momometal was the one with the attached earlobes. Moa is typically on Su's right when you are facing them. In the beginning there were 3 members. Su, Moa, and Yui. However, in 2018 Yui left for health reasons leaving Babymetal with only Su and Moa. For a short period Babymetal continued to exist with only those 2 but it was awkward and they realized they needed a third person so they created what they called, "The Avengers". The avengers were 3 girls who took turns being a fill-in for the third spot. They would dance only though and wouldn't sing. You can tell an avenger by their hair. Official Babymetal dancers have their hair done in pigtails. An avenger will have her hair down, but will have buns where she would have had pigtails. On April 4th of 2023 one of the avengers, Momometal, became an official Babymetal member and thus the avengers were no longer needed. Momo was brought into the group, and was given a mic. To commemorate the occasion Babymetal changed the outfits they normally wear as having Momometal as an official member brought in a new era. Actually if you go back and look at the Monochrome video you reacted to, they are wearing a different outfit from the mirror mirror song. The outfit from the monochrome song was the outfits they were wearing before Momo was officially part of the group. That is also why you didn't see Momo in the Monochrome first take recording, because as an avenger she doesn't sing. If you REALLY want, I'd highly recommend a couple of songs. First as was already mentioned, I'd highly recommend watching the live version at PIA arena of Monochrome. It's different enough that it will feel like a new song for you. But I'd also highly recommend reacting to Headbanger. Momo's birthday is coming up and typically they do something special during the birthdays so you'll likely want to react to the original version of headbanger and then for Momo's birthday you can react to the momo version if one is released! Other than that, great reaction, maybe just turn the music up just BIT more since we all love Babymetal and want to rock out to it also lol, also don't tell me where you live, because you do, I might go there and steal your toblerone that I saw in the background!! 🤣🤣
Not you calling me out on my snack cart XD listen...I love the snacks lol also thank you for the info and tips! I didn't know they didn't change their stage outfits regularly! seems like there is a lot of lore to learn!
@@alexatakesalook well... they don't change their outfits REGULARLY, bit they have gone through about 5 or 6 outfits since 2010. As for the snack cart. I didn't notice it was a snack cart tbh. I was laser focused on the chocolate 🤣🤣
@@jeremyboynowski3784 Since 2010 I would guess more than a dozen different outfits. Early on they changed a lot, then it was kind of for each major tour or show. I can think of a dozen just off the top of my head. Begins, Metal Galaxy/10 Years/Returns, Dark Night Carnival, Legend S, 2018 World Tour, Tokyo Dome, etc. Then tons of changes in the early years.
Thanks for the reaction! I definitely recommend the regular live Monochrome from the PIA Arena 2023 concert, as well as Road of Resistance from the same concert.
Welcome to the Foxhole and BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐 I'm glad to see more reactors coming back to listen more BM songs, you're arriving to a special era with more mature sound and a BM side we've never seen before. If you're looking for more updates about this group please look for my next comment. BabyMetal is a Japanese metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (kawaii means cute), mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms, the name is a pun intended play of words with "heavy metal" and is a reference to a birth of a new genre, they are: *SuMetal* lead vocalist, now 26. *MoaMetal* scream and dance, now 24. *MomoMetal* scream and dance, she's 20 and is the new official member since April 1st last year. *YuiMetal* scream and dance, former member since 2018. None of them are related. After 2018 you'll see backup dancers performing along with them but none of them are official members, they don't sing, only dance, but that status change recently like i said. About this song: Monochrome is the 2nd single released from this latest concept album called "The Other One" it was released on March 24. Here's some official info: _From the eyes of the children, what color were the monochrome fireworks lighting up in the night sky? This song expresses the hopeful wish on Ragnarok, which signifies doomsday in Norse mythology, twinkling across the starry skies in rainbow colors._ Original version is more hard rock ballad style with overprocessed and audio effects, SuMetal vocals are similar to vocaloid style in some parts, but is enjoyable either way with the beautiful message. It was played throughout this whole World Tour 2023 and one of the highlight is when SuMetal ask everyone to take phones out and shine this dark dark world. You can enjoy the live proshot version at Makuhari Messe 2023 performed at the end of January or live at PIA Arena MM in April, one of the highlights in the live concerts was this beautiful song, SuMetal made everyone raise their phones to illuminate this dark world. The girls dressed in white are extra backing vocals for this song and probably related to the metalverse era lore they got in this moment or just an homage to early era when they were a trio when YuiMetal was still there, after she left in 2018 they become the only two front women until 2023, you'll see the new member in the next one off version called The One - Unfinished Version in that same channel. They already have softer version and piano version of certain songs before like "Akatsuki Unfinished Version" and The One - Stairway To Living Legend (that's the full version of the Unfinished but the original version is totally different), i suggest you those after hearing the original version. Next suggestion: - Karate live at Download Festival 2016. I'm gonna try to leave more suggestions in my next comment if YT allows me to do it. Hope to see you next time with more BM songs. 🦊🤘🌈
About Mirror Mirror: Cool to see you reacting to this song, it's even one of SuMetal's favorite from this album. I like the progressive metal elements, that heavy breakdown and the existential questions. There's also a reference to Macbeth in the lyrics besides the obvious lines famously known by Snow White tale. Here's some official info: Mirror Mirror (MIRROR) _Mirror, mirror on the wall...this song embodies a parallel world where the world inside the mirror and the world of reality go back and forth._ _Is what you see in the mirror your true self or the self you wish to be?_ Mirror Mirror was the 5th and final single they released from this new album called The Other One released in March showing us a new sound and a BM side we've never seen before with this metalverse. This was at BabyMetal Begins - The Other One - Clear Night live at PIA Arena MM, Yokohama, last April 2nd with MomoMetal debuting as the new official third member, she was one of the avengers since 2019 and we're all proud of her, but don't think this as a replacement of YuiMetal, she's like a new incorporation to this group for this new lore and metalverse era. Also the BM logo change, it doesn't have the skull and the heart in the B letter, as well there's only three feathers in the logo unlike four prior to this. The Western Kami Band was in charge of these shows, but in the official MV you will hear album studio sound unlike this version with live sound They performed this at the World Tour 2023, everyone were having a blast with their classic songs and the new ones, next weekend they will be back with more headlining shows. Thanks for sharing this, the rest of the album tracks are already available in their own channel, so get ready for more blaster tracks, but if you're looking for more clips from this new era you can look at For The Fox God, NLMetal and The Foxhole to get some of those fantastic performance. What is BabyMetal?" is more short and with some fair update until this year unlike the other one. ruclips.net/video/9X5vj1-Sg_4/видео.htmlsi=icqbG22Ysw0Pc-Ll 🦊🤘
@@alexatakesalook Don't mention it, my pleasure. Please do not follow suggestions over Road Of Resistance 2023,. Megitsune 2023 or Babymetal Death 2023 versions, and follow the one I gave you here to enjoy early era and appreciate the evolution once you reach newer songs.🦊🤘❤️
I appreciate their lyrics. Indeed, their tone is at different times happy, cheerful, hopeful, positive, or a combination. I think metal has more than enough rage and anger, so BM is refreshing and different.
If you want to see where they came from I would say road of resistance live from Japan. I believe it's from 2013 or 14 to see how young they were and what crowd control power they had even at that young age
Nice reaction. Welcome to the foxhole. More Babymetal is in your future. The One can tell. You're going to enjoy this journey through the foxhole and into the Babymetal galaxy of music.
Welcome & Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。You questions were and will be answered by many fans in the world. BABYMETAL is the best musical phenomenon I have ever experienced in my 68-year-long life. (Before BM, I was a stubborn jazz / funk lover) We say "Japan is the country obsessed by Rock Music". The history is very long and the obsession started in 1966 when Beatles visited Japan and held 5 concerts at Budokan. (Very different feature from other Asian countries) Speaking of hard rock / heavy metal music, a number of bands started to come to Japan since as early as 1970s. Now, any type of rock can be enjoyed here, especially by many all-female or women-fronted bands. They are daughters of American / European rock, for sure. (Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.) Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄
Great reaction, thanks! I hope you continue your BABYMETAL journey (and also you show them to your dad!). BABYMETAL changed my life. I'm seeing them live in two days in Yokohama, Japan. I'm already there so I have a little time for comments these days, although I see you already have a ton of great info. 😅 Until next time! 🤘🦊
Welcome to the foxhole, great double feature and reaction 😊 Surrgest you try out the PIA arena performance of Monochrome, it is well worth it. It will be another one for your Dad 👍 😃
Hi from Ireland, absolutely you have to listen to the live performance monochrome live at the pia, your commenters are so right it will take your breath away, thanks for reaction I do hope for more 😊
Hi. Nice reactions. BABYMETAL are an excellent group fronted by, as you can hear, a world class singer in Suzuka Nakamoto - SU-METAL. Moa & Momo are equally amazing. Pleasingly they are absolutely delightful people off stage too. I won’t say much more about them as there are others who will, no doubt, give you their whole history in minute detail. All I will say is you ain’t heard nothing yet and if you do choose to react to more of their stuff you are in for a wonderful, joyful ride. BABYMETAL are a group who are loved by their deeply loyal fans.
Great reaction, and welcome to Babymetal! They were originally a trio of Su, Moa, and Yui. Yui left in 2018 due to health, so they became a Duo. Momoko supported Babymetal since 2019 as an unofficial backup dancer and became an official 3rd member in Apr 2023. This 1st Take version was done before she was official, so still a "duo" at this time. Su-metal is always the lead vocalist. Moametal and Momometal (previously Yuimetal) are backup vocals and dance. They've been an international powerhouse since 2010, starting at the age of 12/11, and they have 9+ years of world tours, 4 albums, and almost 70 songs in their discography. You should absolutely check out *Monochrome (Pia Arena MM, 2023),* the full version from the same show as *Mirror Mirror.* It is absolutely amazing!! Other suggestions: *Akatsuki (Budokan 2014):* 16-year-old Su-metal's solo. A love ballad, but Babymetal style. *Light and Darkness (Pia Arena MM):* Vocally focused song, melodic yet heavy at times, but with a chill and sad vibe. *Road of Resistance (Official Live):* Jan 2015 performance of this staple show closer. Epic, powerful, and fast-driving anthem. *The One (Official Live):* Dec 2015 show, a tribute song to the fans. An epic prog-metal ballad. Look forward to more Babymetal!
@@alexatakesalook I know! They are absolute stage generals and rock crowds harder than many metal bands lol. Looking forward to it! You'll see how they do crowd engagements in the full Monochrome version from Pia Arena MM. Hope that one is next! 😉
Welcome to the Foxhole and BabyMetal's metalverse. It seems my comment was shadow ghosted by YT so I'm gonna try to come back later and fix my comment. Anyway keep enjoying more BM songs. See you next time 🦊🤘❤
Great first reaction. That was a nice way to do it. With the acoustic then the live versions. You are right about Babymetal starting and just being right as a trio. The three OG's Sumetal/lead vocals, Moametal backing vocals/crowd interaction and Yuimetal, same as Moa. Yui stopped performing in 2017 for still undisclosed health reasons. She officially left the band in 2018. Over the next five years Su and Moa performed variously as a duo and with a rotating cast of dancers. There was also a two year hiatus in there. In April 2023, at this concert Momometal was officially announced as the newest member of Bablymetal. Based on what you've done here I would love to suggest the concert version of "Monochrome" it is still beautiful but in many ways couldn't be more different from the acoustic version. Best wishes and link follows: ruclips.net/video/xAZeBm0o7Jo/видео.html

👍 👍 Monochrome HQ pro shot LIVE Babymetal Clear Night PIA Arena Yokohama 2023. ruclips.net/video/XJZhy7fWNyY/видео.htmlfeature=shared BabyMetal began in 2010 there were Suzuka Nakamoto age 12 Moa Kikuchi and Yui Mizuno. Both Moa and Yui were 11 years old. All three girls were friends and classmates who attended an idol group (Sakura Gakuin) founded in 2010 by Amuse Talent Agency for girls 10 to 15. Themed around school life (they attended regular school as well) the girls would learn and train at vocals, dancing, public speaking and etiquette, etc., graduate at age 15 and then move onto whatever entertainment path they chose or that suited their talents. Key Kobayashi was a music producer for Amuse and heard Suzuka sing at age 9 and was impressed with her strong vocals and stage presence. Kobayashi was a fan of heavy metal but believed that the genre had become stale and tired (especially in Japan) with metal bands getting old Kobayashi believed the genre needed to be reborn (BabyMetal means the birth of a new metal genre). Kobayashi felt that Suzuka had the ability to front a metal band and that her vocals and presence could withstand the metal guitars and drums. The fusion of Jpop and Metal began. He placed Moa and Yui as backup singers/dancers and a phenomenon was about to result. In the beginning Amuse showed little interest and the girls had minimal financing. They performed at strip malls and small venues borrowing clothes for shows from friends and family. No money for a real band they had friends dressed in homemade skeleton costumes pretending to play instruments to a backtrack. They quickly became a sensation (these young ladies paid their dues). Amuse saw the potential and in 2012 hired the best session musicians Japan had to offer (The Kami Band) who tours with them today (now includes world class musicians from the USA for tours outside of Asia). If you choose to explore more of BabyMetal I suggest reacting to HQ pro shot videos of LIVE performances instead of official MV's (the reason is that the vast majority of MV's use studio audio over LIVE footage AND without the awesome Kami Band instrumentals) They have over 60 LIVE songs/performances and each one is different. They are fearless exploring many genres and have the respect of the legends of Metal such as Metallica, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Judas Priest and more. Avoid Glastonbury LIVE performances as the sound production by the BBC (who was in charge of that festival did a terrible job - mics not turned on, incorrect volume levels, etc.) Suggest reacting to these HQ Pro Shot videos of LIVE performances for a start. Their new album in my opinion that released March 24 is amazing with so many different styles. Good luck and hope to see you again.
Babymetal started as 3, Suzuka, Yui, and Moa. Yui left in 2018, due to health reasons she was unable to perform, and Su and Moa continued to perform with the aid of dancers. In 2023 they inducted Momoko as a permanent member. The Monochrome video was shot just as they were going to announce Momoko as a member. They shot two videos that day, Monochrome without Momoko, and The One with Momoko. Confusing, a bit at least Su is the lead singer. Moa and Momo are titled "scream and dance". The group was formed around Su's voice, basically, the producer came across Su, and thought she had a unique voice and stage presence. and crafted Babymetal as the way to best frame her talents. It was meant to be a one off experiment, but their first video got 1m views and they just took off.
In Monochrome First Take there were only two of them because one of the girls left the band some years ago and she was replaced officially only a few weeks after the recording of that performance. Did you noticed that there were three hooded girls in the first take video? It was a hint of the new entry (I suppose).
Although Momoko has been dancing in the third spot since 2019 . Yui has not been around since the end of 2017, a bit of a long apprenticeship for Momo.❤😂
Great first reaction, welcome to the BABYMETAL Foxhole.🦊They were formed in 2010 as a sub-unit of a JPop Idol group formed by the Amuse Talent agency to coach, train and teach about a dozen of the most talented girls in all aspects of entertainment so that when they reached school leaving age (15 in Japan) they could choose a career path in whatever they enjoyed most or were best at. BABYMETAL was the brainchild and passion project of their metalhead producer Kei Kobayashi who was inspired to try this mad idea of fusing metal with JPop aesthetics and vocals after seeing lead singer Su-metal with her previous group and being so impressed by her vocal talents and stage presence. He thought it might just inject some youth into and help rejuvenate the stagnant metal and rock music scene - as it was in Japan at that time. The three members (Su-metal - lead vocalist, Yuimetal and Moametal - backing vocals, harmonies and in charge of hyping and involving the crowd through their choreo) were aged 12, 11 and 11. We have watched them grow up and become one of the very best live acts on the planet. Yuimetal last performed in October 2017 and was absent for 12 months for health reasons until she announced she was still not fully recovered and would be leaving the band. Su and Moa continued as a duo for 4 or 5 years supported from 2019 by 3 dancers who would take turns dancing in the third spot until 1st April 2023 when one of those dancers, Momoko, was finally revealed as the new official third member. The 'Monochrome' piano version was recorded right before Momoko was revealed, so it was just Su and Moa in that, they also recorded an unfinished (just the first verse) version of their fan tribute song 'The One' for The First Take as the very first ting that included Momoko as an official member. BABYMETAL are like nothing you will have seen or heard before, they brought a fusion of great metal instrumentals coupled with JPop hooks, melodies and aesthetics to create their very own sub-genre ... and they have continued to develop and evolve from those beginnings. They don't limit themselves to any one main style or genre and you won't be able to pigeonhole or put them in any one box like you can with virtually every other band in the world, they are one of a kind and they invented their own genre and style that nobody has been able to copy successfully (some have tried, none came close) including bringing choreographed dancing to metal (but not as you might know it from pop acts where it is nearly always used just to fill the stage or give you almost naked girls (and boys) to look at to take your mind off often bland music). BABYMETAL's choreo helps with interpreting the song - a lyric or the meaning etc, but it is designed to involve and lead the crowd, to give them their cues when to jump, shout, pump their fists, chant and so on. BABYMETAL are complete masters of crowd control and crowd involvement. They are supported in live shows by the Kami Band - some of Japan's very best session musicians, each one of them a world class instrumentalist. They first appeared in October 2012 and became the full time support for all live shows from March 2014. Early on BABYMETAL did not have the funding for a live band so the instrumentals were pre-recorded and played on the backing track and in some early shows they had guys in skeleton suits (called Babybones) dancing round pretending to play the instruments - no real pretence, everybody knew what they were doing and why they were there. The Kami Band played at a couple of festivals and the encores in some shows before they became the full time support for all live shows. In 2019 the Kami Band of the West (American musicians) were introduced and they have been supporting BABYMETAL on their more extended foreign tours since then. They have nearly 70 songs now, every one of them is different from the last. They have songs in virtually every metal genre but will mix in other musical styles and genres with the metal, often when you least expect it. Some songs lean towards their pop roots others are just good hard metal and they do everything in between - so if you don't like one song no problem - try another, the chances are you'll love it. I'm sure you will get a lot of suggestions for more songs - you really can't go wrong with any of them. The official videos are all very good and worth seeing, but BABYMETAL is a live performance act, that is where you will see and hear them at their very best.
@Grington300 they got a few of my longer ones last week. i was going for a colonoscopy and was sitting around a lot with time on my hand preparing for it 😃
They were 3 till 2017. Yui Metal had to quite due to health reasons. Since April 2023 they are three again. Momo Metal became the third member. This is the normal reaction to Babymetal. Yes, Su is normally the Lead Singer, Moa is offically Scream & Dance. While she can sing, she normally doesn't want to sing Solo.In theory they are Background Singers and Dsncers, but if you ever see them on stage you realize why they could be bettet described as Audience Reactions spezialists. And their audience is a bit unusual 40% female and an age range between 5 and 85. For Metal quite unusual.
When the song makes you so emotional, your doggo comes to check on you. nice! Su's vocals are top tier. Moa is the cutest. Always puts a smile on my face when I watch them perform.
The song is not specifically about the bombing of Hiroshima. While the lyric video hints at that with some of the visuals, many Japanese fans thought it might refer to the firebombing of Tokyo rather than either Hiroshima or Nagasaki. Su- herself considered it a light song and was surprised that fans had such a serious take on it.
@@johnschultz7765 Actually if you look at exactly 1:05 of the original lyric video, no mistake a bomb is part of the story. Suzuka thought it was a lighter song when she first heard it but by the time of recording, she is perfectly aware that this is a song about rising up from the aftermath of something grave, and by a strong will, make the world a better place.
@htusda1 , I do not doubt that Su- would have understood the reference to Ragnarök as a reference to a cataclysmic event, even if she had to look it up. The song was recorded 5 years before it was released. So her saying she was surprised by the fan reaction tells me she still did not think it as that serious of a song prior to its release. And, as AJ Hartley also speculated, she is perhaps influenced by that interpretation in her current performance as she always gives 100%. I also don't believe any Babymetal songs reference specific events and Kobametal has said as much. I do not think Monochrome is any exception.
@@johnschultz7765 Thank you for educating me. I saw her perform this live three times, and every time I could feel her will in coming from a dark place to a brighter world. But this was all in 2023, so if she recorded this five years before its release, then I would have to agree with you.
Oh wow birthday concerts sound so fun!
@@alexatakesalook We are waiting to see what they do on Saturday and Sunday coming - Legend MM, Momometal's 21st birthday celebration concerts.
@@alexatakesalook Just wait until you see how they celebrated Su-metal's 16th birthday onstage... I'm gonna sub so I don't miss when you get to that 💀✝️💀🦊🤘
She's so little :3
I will make a note to react to something if they do something!
Hopefully you get what I'm trying to say lol
Yes the young lady with the Ponytail is the main vocalist.
@@jimnusbaum3589 well, I stand corrected on that front :)
Thanks for the reaction! I definitely recommend the regular live Monochrome from the PIA Arena 2023 concert, as well as Road of Resistance from the same concert.

Welcome to the Foxhole and BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐
I'm glad to see more reactors coming back to listen more BM songs, you're arriving to a special era with more mature sound and a BM side we've never seen before. If you're looking for more updates about this group please look for my next comment.
BabyMetal is a Japanese metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (kawaii means cute), mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms, the name is a pun intended play of words with "heavy metal" and is a reference to a birth of a new genre, they are:
*SuMetal* lead vocalist, now 26.
About this song:
Monochrome is the 2nd single released from this latest concept album called "The Other One" it was released on March 24.
Here's some official info:
_From the eyes of the children, what color were the monochrome fireworks lighting up in the night sky? This song expresses the hopeful wish on Ragnarok, which signifies doomsday in Norse mythology, twinkling across the starry skies in rainbow colors._
Original version is more hard rock ballad style with overprocessed and audio effects, SuMetal vocals are similar to vocaloid style in some parts, but is enjoyable either way with the beautiful message.
Next suggestion:
- Karate live at Download Festival 2016.
I'm gonna try to leave more suggestions in my next comment if YT allows me to do it.
Hope to see you next time with more BM songs. 🦊🤘🌈
About Mirror Mirror:
Cool to see you reacting to this song, it's even one of SuMetal's favorite from this album. I like the progressive metal elements, that heavy breakdown and the existential questions. There's also a reference to Macbeth in the lyrics besides the obvious lines famously known by Snow White tale.
Here's some official info:
Mirror Mirror
(MIRROR)
_Mirror, mirror on the wall...this song embodies a parallel world where the world inside the mirror and the world of reality go back and forth._
_Is what you see in the mirror your true self or the self you wish to be?_
Mirror Mirror was the 5th and final single they released from this new album called The Other One released in March showing us a new sound and a BM side we've never seen before with this metalverse.
The Western Kami Band was in charge of these shows, but in the official MV you will hear album studio sound unlike this version with live sound
They performed this at the World Tour 2023, everyone were having a blast with their classic songs and the new ones, next weekend they will be back with more headlining shows.
Thanks for sharing this, the rest of the album tracks are already available in their own channel, so get ready for more blaster tracks, but if you're looking for more clips from this new era you can look at For The Fox God, NLMetal and The Foxhole to get some of those fantastic performance.
See you next time!🦊🤘🪞

I appreciate their lyrics. Indeed, their tone is at different times happy, cheerful, hopeful, positive, or a combination. I think metal has more than enough rage and anger, so BM is refreshing and different.
I like the way they mix the tones as well!

(Very different feature from other Asian countries)
Speaking of hard rock / heavy metal music, a number of bands started to come to Japan since as early as 1970s. Now, any type of rock can be enjoyed here, especially by many all-female or women-fronted bands. They are daughters of American / European rock, for sure. (Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.)
Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄

I can't wait, I will be hearing more for sure!
Monochrome By Babymetal:-
It's really atmospheric which I like. Divine Attack brought the hype and Monochrome brought beautiful vibes. The next single will bring the heavy vibes I hope. Well, this song certainly shows that the few second snippets don't really spoil or give away the songs at all. The chorus with the is catchy, but the drum riffs are the jam for me upon first couple of listens. Since the snippets don't reveal the songs, I'm wondering if the five songs that will be released aren't gonna reveal the final album as a concept album, once released and listened to in full and in sequence, as most concept albums are meant to be listened to. Being that this album is conceptual, and should probably be listened to as a whole and in order, this could be a fun slow-burn reveal to. As of now only two original Babymetal are in the current status, Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-Metal, Main Vocalist) & Moa Kikuchi (Moametal, Backing Vocals). The third member Momoko Okazaki becomes Babymetal official 3rd member On April 1, 2023, during the Babymetal concert "Babymetal Begins: Black Night" at the Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Okazaki was officially announced as their new member with the stage name "Momometal". Later that year, her vocals were featured in the spoken section of Babymetal's digital single "Metali!!".

I heard monochrome was about hiroshima? that makes this so sad T^T
Other suggestions:
*Akatsuki (Budokan 2014):* 16-year-old Su-metal's solo.
Thank you for the info! I can't believe they were so young when they started! I will be checking them out more for sure!
@@alexatakesalook I know! They are absolute stage generals and rock crowds harder than many metal bands lol. Looking forward to it! You'll see how they do crowd engagements in the full Monochrome version from Pia Arena MM. Hope that one is next! 😉
Hoping I can get my dad into it so he can pay for some concerts lol >.>
@@alexatakesalook What type of music does your dad like? Babymetal has a little bit of everything for everyone lol.

Great reaction and GJ on managing to get a live version of Mirror Mirror with the intro ("official" BM videos often cut these out). More pls!

Welcome to the Foxhole and BabyMetal's metalverse. It seems my comment was shadow ghosted by YT so I'm gonna try to come back later and fix my comment.
Anyway keep enjoying more BM songs. See you next time 🦊🤘❤
Not your comments as well, Jake 😢had a few disappeared as well 😮
I think his should be back now!
I put it back, they get held for review for some reason... ):

Welcome to the Foxhole and BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐
I'm glad to see more reactors coming back to listen more BM songs, you're arriving to a special era with more mature sound and a BM side we've never seen before. If you're looking for more updates about this group read my next comment where to get it.
- SuMetal, lead vocalist, now 26.
- MoaMetal, scream and dance, now 24.
- MomoMetal, scream and dance, she's 20 and is the new official member since April 1st last year.
- YuiMetal, scream and dance, former member since 2018.
None of them are related.
After 2018 you'll see backup dancers performing along with them but none of them are official members, they don't sing, only dance, but that status change recently like i said.
About this song:
Monochrome is the 2nd single released from this latest concept album called "The Other One" it was released on March 24.
Here's some official info:
"From the eyes of the children, what color were the monochrome fireworks lighting up in the night sky? This song expresses the hopeful wish on Ragnarok, which signifies doomsday in Norse mythology, twinkling across the starry skies in rainbow colors."
Original version is more hard rock ballad style with overprocessed and audio effects, SuMetal vocals are similar to vocaloid style in some parts, but is enjoyable either way with the beautiful message.

BabyMetal began in 2010 there were Suzuka Nakamoto age 12 Moa Kikuchi and Yui Mizuno.
If you choose to explore more of BabyMetal I suggest reacting to HQ pro shot videos of LIVE performances instead of official MV's (the reason is that the vast majority of MV's use studio audio over LIVE footage AND without the awesome Kami Band instrumentals)
They have over 60 LIVE songs/performances and each one is different. They are fearless exploring many genres and have the respect of the legends of Metal such as Metallica, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Judas Priest and more.
Avoid Glastonbury LIVE performances as the sound production by the BBC (who was in charge of that festival did a terrible job - mics not turned on, incorrect volume levels, etc.)
Suggest reacting to these HQ Pro Shot videos of LIVE performances for a start.

Yui Mizuno left BabyMetal in 2018 due to health reasons and at their concert in Yokohama on April 1 it was announced that a permanent third member Momoko Okazaki (who is also a graduate of Sakura Gakuin and has been appearing with them LIVE since 2019 after Yui's departure) has officially become the third member.

Confusing, a bit at least
Su is the lead singer. Moa and Momo are titled "scream and dance". The group was formed around Su's voice, basically, the producer came across Su, and thought she had a unique voice and stage presence. and crafted Babymetal as the way to best frame her talents. It was meant to be a one off experiment, but their first video got 1m views and they just took off.
wow props to the producer~

Welcome to BABYMETAL🤘🦊♪
Thank you!

I did notice that there were three!
You've been lucky with the comment this time, Grington, no heart breaks 😊 👍

Oh wow, I love that they have such a unique fanbase!
When the song makes you so emotional, your doggo comes to check on you. nice! Su's vocals are top tier. Moa is the cutest. Always puts a smile on my face when I watch them perform.
she's my emotional support demon :D

Okay
Monochrome's lyrics are about the aftermath of the bombing of Hiroshima during WWII. SuMetal is from there.
That's going to make me cry....wow I'll have to look up the lyrics
Monochrome live sooo much better then the first take version... BabyMetal not made for first take imo
I'll watch the live too!
