Respect for all the camerawork man! it is hard enough to manage your tools, parts, workflow.. constantly giving us a super clear look at the work of a master!
Admire your silence. Been a mechanic for 30+ years and not one single day with cursey words and a lot of them. If you were my son, I would brag about you and your ethic big time. Thank you for all your work and videos. Regards from Sweden.
Thanks for the video, a great job, for me very complicated, knowing how to do this with so many different models I see it very difficult, thank you and I hope to continue sharing the videos.
Great video Kev.. the crankshaft sensor in the Bell housing there’s no need to remove it. I done that Kia Ceed during the week I removed the whole cross member but left the steering rack in place I just removed the bolts and used heavy duty tie raps and secured it to the exhaust, both anti roll bar links had to be replaced seized solid had to be cut off with grinder. I couldn’t remove the crankshaft sensor it snapped off in the Bell housing again it was seized in there with corrosion I had a job in getting the little stump out, turned out afterwards there was enough clearance between the flywheel and sensor to have left it in place I had a spare sensor so it was no cost to the customer… just to share my experience
That sensor is right pain. I’ve never managed to pull the box out with it in situ. I always carry spare sensors just for them. But all in all it’s not a bad repair.
Hi kev mate, how are you, kev if I'm filming outside and its windy I always put a piece of material over the microphone to stop the wind howl, only a suggestion my friend, right on with the video, great work kev 👍😉

I’m currently off work. But repair like this about £450 without subframe. And £500 if subframe needs coming out.
Suprised you've not changed the dmf at the same time.
