  • With all the shenanigans and goings-on, the Flying Monkeys decided it best to not have a sanctioned Rally this year. So we showed up to the area the Rally ... wasn't... and decided to go on a ride. Lo and behold, a group of other riders just happened to be there to join us!
Enjoy the ride, as we follow Devon from Broken Enduro through some of the nicest backcountry roads I've seen. Scratching another location off my list, I got a chance to ride in a new area of America; Utah's Southwest.

I'm just here for the beer and free wings.
Dude this is a great video! I'm so happy you captured the feeling of the weekend! Thank you!

That is a huge compliment. I tried to focus on getting footage of all the people riding through all the terrain you took us through. And you can't really beat that song! Haha

Just sitting in my toy hauler and got back from a ride just like this. Fall is my favorite season 🌲🍁🍂😎👍

I dont think I've done a ride in the typical fall environment before.

Someday we'll have plates. We've been to Zion, and all Dash and I could think about was coming back to the area with our bikes. Great music! Hopefully that bull didn't give you too much trouble.

I can totally see Dash getting his M1 license as soon as he turns 16 to start getting into dual sporting. And thanks about the music. Barnes Courtney was what Devon and I listened to on the way out there, so it became the theme of the weekend.
When you and Dash are able to get a week or so free, you really should take the bikes to Moab. It is a totally different world compared to what we are used to out here. I try to go once a year or so.

I'm glad you "erased" the bull and gate incident...LOL.
That could get us in trouble.

You got to love the changing color on the Aspen trees! Looks like a great ride, it wouldn't be an adventure if you didn't get lost at least once. I enjoyed watching your helmet get dustier and dustier throughout the whole video lol!

    • @americandirtrider7662
      @americandirtrider7662  4 года назад

I honestly don't think I've seen the color change this dramatic in my life. It was crazy to see how some trees could still be so perfectly green, and the trees right next to them would be gold or orange.
There definitely wasn't a shortage of dust on the dry sections, but it's just the nature of the beast on bigger group rides.
By the way, I can't thank you enough for the battery! What a huge relief not having to worry about swapping out the little ones before it's too late.

@@americandirtrider7662 I was wondering if you hooked up the battery. It really is nice to know that every time you hit that button it will record. I don't think I could ever go back to using small batteries.

This weekend was such a change from the rides I've been doing over the past few months. It was nice to not have hours and hours of challenging your bike and your skill, and just ride and enjoy the company and the scenery.
The bull was pretty damn scary. I'm a little upset I turned off my camera during that section. It would have been fun to see that moment again.

    • @NikMeyerz

Sounds like a perfect ride then. It’s great to improve and challenge but you strive for the experience and opportunity to be somewhere few people get to go. Sounds awesome. If you ever need anyone to chase away a bull or pick up a bike, ride slow but try hard holler lol

I'm so bummed the camera had dust between the lens and the lens protector. It seemed to take away the contrast and color of what it really looked like. The next day, I took it off and you can notice the difference.

@@MasterofNone365 I'll have to show you next time you're over. Hard to explain. But the dust in between captures the sunlight and makes everything hazy almost.
