Much respect for paying homage!! Man you’re an awesome coach. I’ve learned so much from watching your channel over the last few weeks. You should have over 1 million followers by now. It’s unfortunate that people tend to listen to inexperience people with minimal knowledge just because they walk around with their shirt off. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Matt was at my 2nd meet at OSI in OH. Great guy. Told me I need to bring up my entire posterior chain and go up a weight class lol. The way my old coach ran it was Max effort 3 weeks in a row than on the 4th week max effort day becomes a max rep day with light weight usually as low as 50% as much as 70% I do believe.

Watched the Ws vs the world doc a few times and followed your content for about a year solid now. Love the content. The biggest takeaway that I’ve had from this is you can’t train at 110% every workout. I would truly like to know more about the injury rate at westside. From the documentary and podcasts and RUclips from yourself and other former westsiders it seems like injury rates would be extremely high with the mindset that they seem to have.

Don't know if you have already answered this in other videos, but I don't understand why Louie didn't like your discoveries in training. Westside i thought was a lab to see what worked and what didn't?

Hello Mr. Wenning, thanks for allowing us to communicate with a legend like yourself on RUclips. I had a question.
What do you think about One arm One leg push ups And even the One arm push ups as a mass building pressing movement?
In my own experience (my first bench press ever in life was 3 weeks ago, AFTER LOCKDOWN was lifted in my country, it was 170kilo, I was having trouble balancing the Bar, I know I can do More so I am practicing right now) this creates amazing hypertrophy (in pecs And shoulders) and pressing strength...
I have trained One arm push ups for many years and during the lockdown I got up to a 100 kilo bodyweight while building up to 25 Or More One arm One leg push ups per arm, NON STOP.
The More bodyweight I put on while being able to do More than 20 of these per arm, the bigger my pressing muscles get.
I would love it if you familiarized yourself with these two exercises a little bit and shared your thoughts on them as a general hypertrophy And strength building exercise.
Because what if the key to getting stronger (absolute strength) with calisthenics was to simply establish a high level of relative strength by being able to do high reps of a movement that calls for high level of relative strength, *And maintain that strength level....*
*While slowly bulking up in bodyweight, at a rate that still allows you to maintain that same non stop rep performance of that particular calisthenics movement....*
After all we all do have a limit to our relative strength, beyond that body has to add new muscle tissue to keep going forward.
    Thanks.
