I'm looking to do my fiver this coming winter. Here in the four corners area, we do get frequent high winds, so I think I'll go with boat snaps. Instead of gluing the snaps to the rig, I'll use the kind that screw in (I'll put a block of wood behind the aluminum where i can to give some strength) and to use tent stakes on the bottom. Your ideas are cool!

I want to do a marine grade vinyl but I was thinking velcro would work better. It wouldn't interfere with the gaskets on the slides either.

Is that vinyl skirt easy to remove and storage? I was looking for options for my coach, we travel very often for work. You guys are awesome!

@@cirosochyesposito9443 I wouldn’t want to remove and put it back on often just because of how much time it takes…this year all we had to do was put it back on because all of the prep was done last year, and it still took us 3-4 hours to do it. But, it could be done if you wanted to! Storing the panels is quite easy, we just fold them up into a small pile! 🙂

@@AdventureswithTuckNae I see, probably can use it at home but I guess not for traveling in winter 😞
Will have to keep searching on other options. Today I’m going to start to insulating wet bay, kitchen cabinets and continue during this week, the rest! But I’m definitely going to use your link to purchase all of the materials to do it when we get back home! Thanks so much again!! God bless and will share your video!

That hvac tap doesn't work long term. Those Snaps are what keeping that tap together. I've tried to installed 16mil tarp for front garage. The tap lasted few hours, then decided to fall down side by side.
