Awesome job! I love how you all take care of each other...
We were just happy to have the opportunity to help. Thanks for watching.
Good video. Great job guys. Thanks.
Thanks for watching.
Good video. I’m in the process of doing mine and the socket tip will be helpful.
100% it will. Made it so much easier. Thanks for watching.
You guys are awesome!
Thanks for the support Linda!
I lived in my camper for a few months in winter while I moved, I used a few electric heaters inside which worked amazing. Set me thermostat at 50 for just in case. Ive seen people use straw bales under and around the camper as well.
Yeah we looked for straw bales but no luck finding any. Plus with this more than likely being needed next year as well it should help. Thanks for watching.
Straw will almost certainly attract mice and other critters.
Thank you ❤
Thanks for watching.

On the front where the fifth wheel hitch is, did you have any cracking in the fiberglass and not any metal?? I just received mine and about to do the install👍👍
We have not had any issues with cracking. Thanks for watching.
With the pins on the sides of the slide-outs, were there any issues with the slides being pulled in for traveling?
No they still slide in just fine. Thanks for watching.
How did you decide where to put the studs that weren’t on the metal?
It doesn’t screw into the studs. They have very specific directions of where to mount them. Thanks for watching.
Did the skirting work to keep his costs down after it was installed?
Yes. Just talked him a few weeks ago and he said it was night and day difference. Cut his propane and electric use in half.
Yes that vinyl skirting is nice but just not made for wind. I ended up taking mine off cause the wind was too much and rubbing off the gel coat.
Wind just ruins everything. Did you find a different solution? Thanks for watching.
Yes. Believe it or not I used 1” foam board and it held up very well in 70 mph winds. We get a lot of wind and people said it wouldn’t hold up but mine lasted for 2 years.
I had more problems with the slide being pushed in rather than my insulation.
I live in mine more than my house so over the past years it amazing what you learn over the years.
How cold did it get where u used the foam board?
It got down to -10. But the important thing is to get a good seal so that the wind doesn’t get under my camper. It stayed plenty warm under the camper.
i wanted to give this stuff a try but its gonna be over 2k to do it.. im gonna go with foam board.
Thanks for watching
@@JauntJunkies thank you for sharing your video, it was very informative.
Can you take it off and put it back on
Yes you can.
You said guys can come out and do the install for you?? Im a older woman with no skills. And alone.. maybe this first winter i will just do thermo board. Will be getting to wyoming in November.
Most dealership know of a local tech that can do it.
