Great video. I would like to see a 1000+ km. road trip review on one of these bad-boys. Complete with hotel-stays, refueling, added passengers and luggage.
Just picked mine up from the dealer with the shad bag, passenger seat and windshield. Think I’m going to set mine up like yours, with the addition of a Bluetooth speaker system.
@@RideAboutNow I just bought a Ryker Rally a month ago. I have 600 miles on it and no problems. I was wondering if you had a video on how to put in HD lights?
I am trying to decide for either this 900 or go back to an RS-S with a manual. I have not read anywhere posted 0 to 60pmh times (important for me even if not for others) based on having some power to move through traffic. My old RS was fast enough when compared to my Cruiser bikes. Ill have to test drive one to feel roll out. Thanks
Wildz06 the 900 has plenty power, enough to make you smile. The 0-69 times would be about 6 seconds and I have taken it to 110 and really don’t want to do it again but if I do next time I will wear my brown pants lol. It’s not the same as 2 wheelers when you’re doing high speeds, in this case it’s probably better it doesn’t go a whole lot faster. But because it’s has decent torque and a cvt it acts like an electric bike with instant pull. The rss is a more powerful bike and the both are fun in my opinion.
Your bike looks great. Man that’s a lot of different keys! Too bad they can’t all be keyed this same. Oh well, not the end of the world, just saying. Love the wheel design of the rally. Think the Spyder would be better for me and my wife. Bigger and more comfort for2 up ridding which we do quite often. Although, bet the Ryker would be great for someone who rides mostly as a single. We had a Valkyrie for many years. So we got spoiled with it big size/comfort and crazy flat 6 power! 1530 CC’s!!! That thing was super smooth!!
The techs at the shop straightened the bars out by loosening the bolt under the handlebar and then pushing the handle bar until straight. My alignment never went out though.
So I was curious, is there a place for the passenger to rest their feet? I'm want to get a Ryker myself and I'm doing everything I can to put my girl's mind at ease about riding with me
To me it makes a difference ofcourse compared to not having one. But If I had to do it all over again I would go for a bigger after market one. But if you end up getting this oem one then leave it on its highest position and it helps a lot.
I am still waiting on my windshield to come in. I have the adapter that I purchase from sling mod but the windshield will made to order by mad stad, but should be getting it this Saturday or by Monday is what they said. I will keep you guys updated on when I get it in and show it on the video. I will videoing more once I get a GoPro is there one you recommend?
I don’t think so as there is a drive shaft on the other side. But check out slingmods they have a full 3 bag set up that is pretty good. I probably would’ve gone for that if I had known before I purchased the Shad bags.
Don Chaney I love it. It does the job where I can rest my right hand for a few minutes and get back on the throttle. It’s one of the better throttle locks. I do not like the bar end ones.
Hey how’s it going man, I just got my ryker and I’m going to start making videos myself.. I wanted to ask you how many go pros you carry around when you vlog?
Congrats man. I use 2 go pros. One for my helmet and the other one for a different angle. I started with 1 gopro and got a other one down the line when I was sure I wanted to continue to make more videos. Also get a purple panda mic for the helmet. I bought mine from Amazon.
@@miguelaponte9461 That sales person doesn't know any better then. Just look at this video again I have the passenger seat on it. Pause it at 05:47 and you can clearly see the passenger seat and the folding backrest and right in front of the Shag bag you will see the passenger footrest folded. Not sure why the sales person said that. What I am saying is solely based on parts from Can Am.
Thanks,, one thing that ticks me off is that after spending thousands on a Can Am, you have to spend a lot more just to make things "right". Can Am certainly does not go out of it's way to build a better product in the first place.
Hello ryker rider I heard on your channel that you where thinking about getting the Nelson commute bag, well I have the same back passenger seat you have and you don’t have to really take off that passenger seat for the Nelson. Commute bag, you can actually put it on top of that seat. I done it to mines. Check my channel out which is preacher ryker and I will sometimes today or tomorrow showing how I got it on my ryker
Great video, love all the accessories you selected. Happy to hear your helmet fit fit indo the Shad bag.
Thank you.
Great video, thanks for the helpful hint to take care of vibration on the air intakes, I had heard that is annoying
Thanks for watching.
Great video. I would like to see a 1000+ km. road trip review on one of these bad-boys. Complete with hotel-stays, refueling, added passengers and luggage.
Thank you for watching. I have a couple of videos on my trip to Miami and back on this Ryker, much more than 1000km. Check it out.
@@RideAboutNow Will do, thank you.
Looks very nice. Congrats. Just got mine not too long ago and am buying toys for it. 😄
Thank you.
Great video. Thanks for the left over foam tip.
Any time. Thanks for watching.
Just picked mine up from the dealer with the shad bag, passenger seat and windshield. Think I’m going to set mine up like yours, with the addition of a Bluetooth speaker system.
Nice and many congrats. Do your research on the speakers. There are many garbage ones out there but only a few good ones.
Beautiful machine. Congrats man
Thanks 👍
Please link for throttle lock 🙏 nice video
I don’t have a link but the brand is called Atlas throttle lock. I believe Amazon has it as well.
I decided to subscribe. I know how hard it is to shoot video. You do a good job and keep up the good work!
Thank you, I really appreciate it. Let me know what kind of info on the Ryker you are interested in and I will do my best to bring a video on it.

thank you.
Nice video! I have a 2020 rally and just started adding the mods. I'm in Ga. too. See you on the road.
Thank you and congrats on your Ryker.
Love it brother.
Much appreciated
Nelson Rigg makes good rain suits.
I have to look into that. Thanks.

Filter guards would look good.
I bought those later. They did look good.
The locking fuel cap and parking brake came with mine from new and are keyed the same. Maybe later models or UK spec compared to other locations?
It's possible.

Thanks ya I know about 6 or so keys. I used to like the ace wheels more but do like the rally ones now. Spyder for 2 up comfort for sure.
quick comment, you should put the links to the mods so that way we don't have to keep asking you, where you get it from. Great Video.
For sure. I have the links on my accessories 2nd look video. Will copy those over to this one as well. Thanks for watching.
Good Review.
Thank you.
Looks good bro
Appreciate it
Hello! Like your video. Where did you. Buy the fuel lock ?
I believe it was either Amazon or sling mods.
I've hit potholes, what did you do to align your handle bars again?
The techs at the shop straightened the bars out by loosening the bolt under the handlebar and then pushing the handle bar until straight. My alignment never went out though.
I'm surprised you didn't put the knight rider light bar in the front
Ya I was thinking about it.
Nice !
Thanks.
Sweet ride. Whats the largest bottle that will fit in that bottle holder? Also, Does it rattle or vibrate with a bottle in or not in?
The bottle doesn't rattle and I believe the one I am using is 20oz. I haven't tried anything bigger than that and that is the max size recommended.
@@RideAboutNow Thanks

Oh yes, when you buy the rear seat, it should come with the passenger foot rests. They are pretty sleek when they are folded away.
@@RideAboutNow GREAT! That should help convince her. Thank you!
Where did you get the LED lights from 😊?

Slingmods
Hey Big guy! Why did you sell your Rally?
I wanted a bigger touring bike.
Where did you buy the throttle lock at?

Awesome accessories. Thanks for sharing! New sub + liked video.

Should paint your rims all black with red strip on inside lip
I thought about that, just don't know a good place near me that would do it without screwing it up.
Can you still ride a passenger with the shad bag ?
Yes for sure. The Shad bag sits just behind the passenger foot rest.
@@RideAboutNow thank you, mines is arriving next week ...I got the 900 Riker Rally

That front trunk lid is so flimsy. I don’t like it.
It is flimsy and in my model there was no lock. Not sure if the new ones are able to lock.
So you lock all your little plastic compartments and feel safe? Your just kidding your self.
Hahaha it's better than no lock at all I say.
