Ah the joys of exploring foreign lands, but it sure makes you feel alive. We are finding Airbnb breaks an absolute necessity, because it’s so intense. Those GoTreads really suck for recovery but they make great leveling blocks. Look us up if you find yourself in Rosarito Beach.
We literally just got home from a week in Cabo!! The roundabout of death is exactly what my wife called it!! We used to go to downtown Cabo, but now we book haciendas up north of San Jose along the highway to La Paz. Much more laid back, less crowded and way less expensive!
Haven been on the road for 16 months now, we get it. Sometimes it’s just a comedy of errors. Everything goes wrong and you just have to leave. Happened to us in Joshua Tree
I live here in Chautauqua County New York we have a small one like that and it really sucks I hate it but apparently everybody else here likes it anyways safe travel
Thanks for always sharing the good as well as the bad! No matter what the journey holds, Marissa, you always have the most beautiful smile! God bless you guys and all the friends you make along your journey!
Hi!!! This is Awesome!!! That traffic circle is hysterical… I know you were stressed then but looking back you have to laugh!!! It’s interesting… you get to see the most beautiful places and stay at them in the 24 foot rv and then you can take an actual vaca anywhere you want!!! A beautiful house air bnb in Mexico with 3 bathrooms a huge bed and a jacuzzi!!! Love it!!! We just came back from vaca. We flew to NM.. then went to Arizona and ended in Vegas. As my mom and I were gambling my husband and daughter took my grandson to Death Valley in California. He got 4 states this vaca and has 21 now. He’s 7. We have 1 more year to where we can go out with the rv for 3 months. I can’t wait!!! This was the 1st time we saw the Grand Canyon and it was so pretty!!! I thought about you all when we were out there. I’m home with jet lag so bad right now. Just got home to NY around 2am lastnight. Haha 🎉🎉🎉
Crazy traffic, but my friends who live in the area, love it. I have one grandson who would not sleep. Even as an infant. She started training him even younger than JJ "If you wake up before everyone else, you can lie in your bed and read quietly until I tell you it is time to get up." It took some training, but he eventually did stop waking up everyone else in the household. He's now 16 and gets maybe 5 hours of sleep a night. He just doesn't need it.
Looks like you had fun. Just a word of warning. Don’t “ever” use a tow strap on a drop down ball hitch. They can, and have, sheared off, gone through the front window and killed the driver who’s vehicle is being towed. Your buddy has a great kinetic rope, he just needs to pick up a proper tow shackle. Stay safe.
So glad someone said this. That was all I could think of when watching you being pulled out. We desert drive every week where we live and that is one of the first lessons learned. So glad everything worked out ok. It’s beautiful there.
Driving in Baja and on the mainland is just not fun. Suggestion (if you are still S of Santa Rosalia), follow a semi-truck up the Cuesta del Infierno. The semis can see each other and you will be protected by the one in front of you. The whales at the cape are incredible! We anchored our boat in Cabo before sailing back up the outside of Baja - saw so many whales!
all I can think of with that traffic circle is..."look kids, Big Ben...Parliament..."😂😂😂 Yea, I'm not even slightly interested in driving into Mexico. Glad you survived it!
I loved your Baja Mexico journey. That Air B&B in Cabo was incredible. I love Mexico. I would love to RV Baja Mexico one day. It's a bucket list item for me. 🌊🌵🇲🇽
I love when Nathan flirts w/ Marissa! Too funny. BTW, thank you for your honesty about whether its been worth all the stress. I’ve been thinking about that this whole season. It’s beautiful indeed but seems like the stresses may outweigh the benefits. Again, thank you for your honesty!
Warning- be real careful when using a kinetic tow strap attached to a drop ball hitch, couldn’t see exactly how you were connected but drop hitches have been known to snap off and go through windshield of towed vehicle killing the driver.
We rented a car in Cabo for two days….drove one, went the wrong way on a street per garmin instructions, met up with police pickup full of men with machine guns….returned the car the same day. Couldnt deal with it.
We have been going down to Cabo for a decade. That traffic circle was not designed for the amount of traffic between Cabo and San Jose there is now. Cabo is packed in 23- at least double what it was when the circle was added.
After family being beaten robbed by Rosarito Police and a dear friend found in different places in TJ… I wouldn’t recommend driving an RV in Mexico. But that’s just me..
I have watched recovery vehicles drive in soft sand and stone, but they do it with their tires aired down around 10psi. Hard tires dig into the soft stuff.
I’ve been watching your videos for awhile. You guys do not seem like you are enjoying this trip. It does not seem like fun from this side of the camera either. I appreciate that Nathan acknowledged it in this video.
RVing in Cabo seems to be survival of the fittest!🤣 Man I feel you on the young ones, my 5 and 9 year old keep us hopping in our 5th wheel! The struggle is real!
Haa, thanks so much for the journey/experience/what not to do/ & adventure,, think I’ll pass on this. Steve from Pennsylvania. PS, never trust Google maps, brought me 10 miles of one lane country road, I got lucky.
I will have the front hitch and 12K LBS pull winch reinstalled on our shuttle bus. (The first forward hitch receiver snd winch was stolen). It is for situations like soft ground so we can get unstuck. I’m designing a vertical “Land Anchor” and will get a welder to fabricate it.
We felt extremely stressed watching these Cabo vlogs and we were only in your virtual caravan!!! Easy NO for us!! Click your ruby reds 👠 3 times-and repeat-there's no place like home (USA) or in the meantime, an Air B&B! Yay!! Big hugs to all!
Hello there Guys wow that's awesome beautiful there. Crazy drivers there don't know how to drive. Its that way all over doesn't matter where you are . Love your videos keep them coming . Thanks for taking us along with you everywhere you guys go.. please becareful where ever you are .. Love seeing your kids growing up too fast enjoy every minute.. . Stay safe out there on the roads 😊 Happy Easter 🐣 Everyone take care God bless you guys 🐰🐰🐰🏞🏞🏞🚙🚙🚙🚙
Nathan, just a hint, Marissa looks cute in anything she wears, at least in my eyes. As for the getting stuck part I'm sure it happens all of the time and setbacks always make the best stories. Keep the good stuff coming and give the kids a hug for me.
I get to experience so much through you, thank you so much
Thanks fir traveling on this Journey with us!
Ah the joys of exploring foreign lands, but it sure makes you feel alive.

Thank you.
Nathan's backing up & the rockhound in me is looking @ the rocks on the ground.
Oh there might always be bumps (or sinking, and flamethrowers in your case) you always have so many more positives! Looking forward to the next video!
Thank you.
Great song at the end this week !
11:29 cool pirate ship!!!!
I've got an older class C RV And it's got a positive traction in the dully , plus I carry a 12,000 Winch.
I haven't watched in a while. The kids look so grown.. WOW! Thanks for sharing Mexico!
Welcome back!
Happy Easter
Happy Easter.
We literally just got home from a week in Cabo!! The roundabout of death is exactly what my wife called it!! We used to go to downtown Cabo, but now we book haciendas up north of San Jose along the highway to La Paz. Much more laid back, less crowded and way less expensive!
Thank you for the tips.
Loved Hensley’s song! Also, my husband wanted to know why Nathan was talking to the camera while Stuart was digging? 🤣
Stuart is a professional. 😀
I think it was definitely worth it id love to RV Cabo
Hensley, as you drive under the bridge: "Sounds like nothing got chopped off...". She's learning the important things!
She learns quick. 😀
You are the best! Keeping it real. Thank you for showing it all.
You are so welcome!
I think my husband was more concerned about a rock hitting the Airstream than you all getting unstuck. 😜
😀
Thanks for showing all so nice muy lindo bonito vacaciones 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 vendiciones amigos quedisfruten so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Haven been on the road for 16 months now, we get it. Sometimes it’s just a comedy of errors. Everything goes wrong and you just have to leave. Happened to us in Joshua Tree

Too long.

Before these videos, I didn't think I wanted to go to Mexico. After watching the videos, I'm sure I don't want to go to Mexico. Y'all STAY SAFE!

Thanks for sharing your journey, good to know what the challenges are versus the payoff. Cheers!
You are welcome, thank you for watching.
So real and so good. ❤
Did you guys feel like the Grizwalds in that traffic circle? Hey guys, Big Ben and Parliament! Hensley’s air BNB song was good. We laughed. 😀😀
Ha, exactly.
Livin the life! Thanks for taking us along.
Our pleasure!
I love your positive attitude! Life is a journey!

Amazing week!
It looked completely fantastic to me. Many go back every winter. I would love it. (well maybe not getting stuck on the rocks) but mostly fantastic.
Totally agree!
Nathan my husband is now 82 and these are the things that made him sell the RV it’s a young man’s fun.
Did JJ finally sleep?? Especially in Air B&B?
Thanks for sharing guys few close encounters there, but well worth it super vlog as always. Safe travels ❤🤗🇬🇧
Thanks so much! 😊
Remind me of the song Stuck on you.😅😅😅😅
😀
Oh so glad you survived the circle of death. 😂😂❤❤
😂
May be a lot of work but what memories.
"It's all part of the Journey" ~ needs to be on some of your Merch.

I loved your Baja Mexico journey. That Air B&B in Cabo was incredible. I love Mexico. I would love to RV Baja Mexico one day. It's a bucket list item for me. 🌊🌵🇲🇽

Thanks again for showing and confirming why to NOT rv in Cabo. Best of luck to you and your family
Great video and so true to life itself.
Glad you enjoyed it
Did you guys visit Cerritos Beach Dogs Cafe? I feel like after your experience with that momma dog, CBD would have been right up your alley! 💜
We did not but we are aware of it.

Glad you enjoyed it
Good song. I loved it.
The beach was awesome except for your rock problems.glad you were with friends

My heart rate jumped up watching you drive through the “circle”. I would have just gotten back on the highway and went back home lol.
Thanks for the journey I enjoyed it agree once is enough long way to Tennessee for sure thank you for having your Channel! I enjoy it 👍
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for showing us the traffic circle I have now removed Cabo from list of places to go in my RV.
I have watched recovery vehicles drive in soft sand and stone, but they do it with their tires aired down around 10psi. Hard tires dig into the soft stuff.
What an Awesome break from your adventure!
Love all your videos. I hope you have a safe trip back home. Which I hope you get some rest before you leave again.
Thank you so much for sharing, for all you give and for keeping it real.
I, for one, am happy that you are well, and blessed, in a pretty sketchy place.
Oh my goodness, I wouldn’t drive into……let alone vacation in Mexico. Too many awesome, beautiful places in the US and Canada to vaca at. You’re brave!
You just convinced me to never go there.
I’ve been watching your videos for awhile. You guys do not seem like you are enjoying this trip. It does not seem like fun from this side of the camera either. I appreciate that Nathan acknowledged it in this video.
Bless your hearts! I’m team AirBnB all the way. 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks 👍
Great journey as always. ❤
You couldn't pay me to go there especially in an rv. Way too many people for my liking.
Hensley is Marissas twin
Glad I have zero desire to rv in Mexico. Cruise are way more fun, easier and a whole lot cheaper.
That is awesome.
😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you this was a great experience. Life reminds me of the Barenstine Bears…this is what you should not do now let that be a lesson for you…lol
Our pleasure!
I would not do it. That's too much stress and added frustration. Hope your days go better
Children’s melatonin
No thanks. Will never travel in Mexico
No way would I go to Mexico.
Don’t go to Mexico! Glad you were lucky to escape!!
See? Sooo much better than a "short" look at a basket of fruit....since you asked. Neat basket but too much of a quickie.
Looking forward to you getting back to your fifth wheel and regular style travels around the states.
We have really enjoyed all our different adventures.
Nathan, just a hint, Marissa looks cute in anything she wears, at least in my eyes. As for the getting stuck part I'm sure it happens all of the time and setbacks always make the best stories. Keep the good stuff coming and give the kids a hug for me.
:)
Beware of Cartels 😱😱
Even the US Government says not to go to Mexico
