Wonderful review my friend. Kouros is my favorite fragrance of all time! But I gotta give props to this. It’s gorgeous juice. It’s kinda like kouros dressed up. It’s so dark and masculine. Makes me want to go in a time machine back to the 80s and rock out! Lol. Cheers.
I had a feeling you gonna give this 10!(to be honest i would have been dissapointed if you don't)Typical example of a designer scent which has "niche quality" and i m talking about not just the ingredients! The Scent profile, the bottle design! If you just compare it to the todays mass pleaser arsenal( Bleu de chanel EDP, Dior Sauvage,YSL Y, ect those are for teenagers and this one mature businessmen scent!!)This could be easily in a Tom Ford Privat Blend bottle for $300 for 50ml TBH!I love and RESPECT this scent and can not wait to wear on a formal night in full black suit and tie!! Awesome review like usuall Bro!😎👊🏻
best mans fragrance ever ....money ive spent in this hobby and this still stands supreme ....i get the very very slight kouros vibe but its fleeting and it keeps changing ,its so much more modern smelling and lighter than kouros,polo green etc to me i get a lovely fuzzy warm lemon vibe like lemon shebert sweets that most people dont ....simply perfect

Since I was at school, i had been wearing Pour Monsieur during the day, and Antaeus at night. But I always loved Antaeus in the summertime, as to me, it always had a clean note of fresh Laundry. Accompagnying my disco-nights, sun-tanned in an open white dress Shirt..unfortunately, the range of care products with this scent, like Soap, Shampoo, Body Splashs etc.has been discontinued. Even when there is just a hint of the fragrance left, the Labdanum in the basenote is revived by humidity in a beautiful, subtle way even the next day.
If you look back from bleu de chanel (which is like a superhero) every man's chanel fragrance becomes a little bit more evil, ending in Antaeus (The name of the greek demigod Antaeus literally translated to "opposite, opposed to, hostile,", i think you can compare it very well to the word "antagonist" since it took Hercules to take him down) It really does smell authoritative, powerful and implicitly intimidating.
Nice, cool stuff. Yes. MrSmelly, Lex Ellis and so on. Chanel Antaeus. 80s powerhouse. I have a bottle of Jacques Bogart Pour Homme, I love it. Barbershop sorta scent... cherry, tobacco, tonka bean, sweet yet slight rough edge
Perfect review for a perfect fragrance. Chanel ANTAEUS is an absolute Master PIECE. They just don't create works of art like this anymore. But why? I just don't get it. Why are are perfumers less creative than they used to be? The art of perfumery is in a very sad state right now, and has been for too long. Something needs to be done about it.
it is a shame this frag how unfamiliar in my country (EU). So i bought a 100 ml bottle (2012 batch) for $30. :) HALF spray to my arm, last all day. i think i will be a Chanel fan. Antaeus, Egoiste, Pour Monsieur EdP. I want to smell Platinum Egoiste too :)
I tried it once and I hated it . But I want to go to a black tie even this week I am thinking about this or pour monsieur or I just stick to my platinum égoïste

I have the modern version, it’s SO GOOD
In this case I prefer the modern, softer version! I can't imagine how a vintage would smell...
