Yeah we can all agree '99-2000 was Shaq's best season. He was too dominant. He was the reason the Lakers 3peated. But in 2000 it was the most obvious.
No more than was Kobe, but I agree that in 00', Shaq was simply on another level from the rest of the NBA.
Kobe was nothing compared to Shaq and his dominance back then I mean Kobe did a big part in 3peat but shaq won finals mvp in all of them which I disagree

@@arsonhakobyan don't try to change history, that's something Kobe's extremely toxic (more toxic than Bronsexuals) fangirls do. They never mention how Shaq was getting double and triple teamed on a regular basis and still being the best player in the league from '99 to '02.
@@anthonynegron788 99': Tim Duncan was best player (despite a sophomore), 00': Shaq, 01': Shaq, 02': Tim Duncan (difference in Lakers/Spurs series was Kobe & Admiral was hurt). 00' was a more dominating single-season campaign by Shaq than any since 94' Olajuwon & more than any of Duncan's, but Duncan was more consistent than Shaq.

2000 Shaq will never be matched. A runaway freight train that could not be stopped. Guy was physically unstoppable from the first game of the season to the last game of the championship.
Hakeem The Dream Olajuwon was similarly that way in 93' & 94'. In 93', his team had so many controversial calls go against them in that overtime Game 7 loss to the Super Sonics, plus he was overshadowed by Jordan and the epic season Barkley & the Suns were having. In 94', they took the cake. But yeah, 00' Shaq was spectacular for the ages.
I also agree with 1999 - 2000 being Shaq's best season

93-99 Shaq vs. 00-06 Shaq, which one would you take? 7 game series, each game being played by a different year Shaq. We can match them up from worst year to best year where 93 Shaq faces 06 Shaq and end it with 99 Shaq vs 00 Shaq.

Also led all centers in assists, was 2nd in rebounding & blocks behind Mutombo, and 1st in field goal %age.
As a resident of the Orlando area The Magic Shaq was by far the best Shaquille O’Neal there was in my opinion.
1999-2000 season hands down...he averaged 29.7 to lead the NBA n won MVP in regular season n post season
