Then about 6 hours later I develop a cough but the nasal congestion is still there. Don’t really understand why the sore throat went away after I had it for about 40 hours yet I developed two new problems to take its place.
That’s the common cold. It starts with a sore throat that lasts for a day, then the throat goes away and there’s a slight fever, congestion, headache and lots of mucus. Sometimes the symptoms feel worse and overpowering at one time or another (like one day the fever is the worst and the other day the mucus is the worst)

Doctor said it was " stress induced pneumonia. I had never heard of this. I'm 66....

Is there some reason you can’t sleep in a separate bedroom so your wife isn’t woken from your coughing and more importantly so she doesn’t catch your cold? Also colds ARE serious. You said you were even taking painkillers and that the cold was getting in your chest. They can last for weeks and hurt your productivity and you even had a mask on at the beginning of the video.
